So your method is purely statistical based on FINA points? So doesn't really consider relay potential? That might explain some of the differences especially when you consider that SwimSwam tends to weight relay potential quite heavily.

There is going to be a prediction contest for the swimming wch 2024?
And yes, trying to make entry lists for this contest is difficult to say the least. I have made preliminary entry lists for all events. However, many big nations haven't announced their official rosters yet, so the lists have to adjusted.
I was thinking of doing up an entry list based on last year's rankings and announced rosters but if you've already done it I won't bother.
Yeah this definitely includes all of the big names, the only Dutch swimmer I can even think of that's missing is Tessa Giele (who won a surprising 50m butterfly gold in the short course European Champs recently).
I do like the inclusion of unproven young talents Van Wijk and Van Kalmthout who will get a chance to prove themselves on the 4x100m freestyle roster.
I do wish Australia had used this meet to give some young talents experience. Instead they persisted with their usual ridiculous qualifying standards
James Guy has said all along he won't go but it's a shame Peters didn't take up the offer so they can field a men's medley relay. Will be most interesting to see if Peaty is moving towards his best form again.
The Brits aren't messing around getting that 4x100 relay qualified. The roster is strong enough that they might not just get it qualified but also win both the men's freestyle relays.

Daniel Wiffen just smashed the oldest world record in the books (SC or LC) winning gold in the men’s 800m freestyle
An impressive triple gold for Wiffen here (400/800/1500m free) and wonderful to see his twin Nathan join him in the finals too
This WR has been on notice for a while now and I'm glad someone has finally done it even if I'm a little sad to see Hackett lose his last WR. I think it'll probably go down again in the near future.
