AIN athletes qualification for Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games and possible reallocation of quotasAs we are approaching the end of qualification period I have updated the list of AIN`s and possible reallocations. 1. Right now there are 13 russian and 5 belorussian athletes with Olympic quotas. Luge quotas are under investigation + next WC is needed for proper number of runs. Freestyle, cross-country and alpne sking are not formally awarded by FIS yet. But it is a formality. 2. 5 russian and 1 belorussian atheletes got inviatations from the IOC. 3. The list is not final. Belorussians may get Aerials quotas via reallocations. Russians may get something in other FIS disciplines - but it would not be easy even with the reallocations. 4. A lot of controversial persons (like Tatalina, Perestoronin) failed to qualify (Tatalina may have some chances during the reallocation). A lot of athletes did not get AIN status due to different reasons like problens with anti-doping rules and affiliation with military. That`s why I do not expect a lot of reallocations this time. But AIN statuses by some athletes like Dariya NEPRYAEVA will be surely challenged. -
