Honestly Reusser should be penalised. It seems a team pursuit event, what shame!

Reusser and Klein could get a handful of seconds penalty, and Van der Breggen as well for her riding behind Reusser towards the finish. Then again, the few seconds they might have won would change the positions in the standings exactly....not at all

Saw the same in the French nationals last week, there were four of them at one point.  Race Commissars should really be enforcing the rules on the road, they’re not just out there to dry their hair.  
 

And of course they will be ultra-strict at the Olympics & everyone will complain.

Mixed Team Time Trial Relay today.  Three men do two laps first, then three women.  Don’t know how they are doing the handovers, presumably just a gate is tripped open when the men’s team finish.

 

 in trouble because Campenaerts is twice as good as the other guys, whereas  have got three not-as-good but well-matched riders.

 

And one Belgian has crashed in the rain.

Germany take the Gold with their strong ladies, but Switzerland get a good silver with a young team.  Italy the bronze.
