Luge FIL World Championships 2019

And in doubles, Nagler/Malleier and quite surprisingly Gudramovics/Kalnins didn't make it. The Latvians finished dead-last and based on the distance they must have had some half crash or something.

For the record, doubles sprint final was already held. :p Women's starts in a minute.

I still think that Sprint races are absolutely senseless...

however, I guess the Germans are happy to win 7 (instead of only 4) world titles this weekend, so we have to take notice also of these ones...

7 sounds too few. They should add women's doubles, relays for men-only, women-only, doubles-only. And also sprints for all relays. That's some 18 events, enough to play German anthem on the loop for 24 hours. :p

    • Italy also has many more judo clubs than wrestling. Our most recent medalists in wrestling were naturalized Cubans: Chamizo and Conyedo. Women's wrestling in Italy is at a very low level.

    • I think it has to do with the depth in plenty of other countries, unlike Wrestling, and Judo tournaments systems in Europe and Asia, and the schedule is more dense then wrestling and of course the exposure of it in the Free JudoTV system and broadcasting and advertising and crowd support unlike UWW where it’s barely exists, I mean for my NOC I would have love to see more Wrestlers but again its less common and exposed to the public so you need to know it from your local sports club
