  11. Maybe you are right, maybe it´s just temporary apathy that will be miraculously cured when Beijing will be much closer.
  12. Status of a never relegated country at U20 remains unchanged Finland won over Kazakhstan in Regulation Time, meaning survived even with this very weak 2000/01 class and will play next year again for the 26th consecutive year in the Top Division of the U20 age category.

  17. Petra´s shape slowly improving. another nice podium
  18. I don´t know, it was just my personal oppinion. Too many changes, from the wind/gate compensation rule in ski jumping, to the Mass starts and sprints obsession in cross-country skiing, or the alpine combined complete change and reduction of alpine skiing start lists quotas, stupid top groups bibs seeding in the speed alpine skiing events, freestyle events getting more and more attention than classical snowboard disciplines etc...+ the disastrous new FIS web site is a special chapter in the rising lost of my interest... all in all, I just don´t feel the same vibe, the same enthusiasm I had towards the winter sports season in the past...
  19. Simen Hegstad Krueger at PyeongChang 2018 Skiathlon is one hell of a comeback I remember
  20. Tour de Ski was something great and fun to watch during the first editions, it was something new and fans loved it. I´ll never forget the Lukáš Bauer era, I was excited about this months before it started. Now it´s just one crap. I definitely lost any interest 2 seasons back and this year with the newest idea of a mass start final climb I am not going to watch it as well (not interested anymore). Wish FIS will remove this farce from the calendar soon. winter sports are going the very wrong way last years I am affraid
  21. Embarassing but expected blowout against super mighty skilled reigning champions... surprising but earned win of this amazing young German squad over the hosts ... and absolutely shocking Tennis bagel as the worst Canadian defeat in a while in this category emballed by serious injury of their biggest star and expected NHL Draft #1 Alexis Lafreniere ... and incredible winning streak of Sweden at U20 WCH preliminary Round now reaching number 50 matches in a row ! wasn´t the only highlights of this crazy day 3 Two other curious moments to notice from this day, one quite funny and the other not so much... German Justin Schutz was sitting at the penalty box for 2 minutes penalty and when he returned into the ice he was immediately send back for another 2 minutes ! Something you really don´t see often the less fun thing now, captain Barret Hayton apparently couldn´t swallow the 0-6 lesson from Russia tonight since he behaved really sadly, didn´t remove his helmet during the Russian anthem, causing controversy, Russian players were not happy at all and their capteain even protested, but the refs send him back a couple of Russian players then decided to ignore him durng the traditional after match hand shake @heywoodu I know you secretly love controversies in sport, so I thought you may like it
