  1. Back from the arena, with mixed feelings, happy and full of another great memories I´ll have all my life but also sad since today we lost our quarterfinals spot. Like the whole country we were today cheering for Germany lol, the whole arena was chanting Deutschland ! Deutschland the whole game lol, from IIHF.COM official recap of the match: but well, anyway we are eliminated but despite the hard feelings right now to lost everything in the last second of the match vs Canada and in the last 2 minutes in the match against Germany (1 really, only 1 single point from one of these games would have qualify us...) we can look with hopes for the future, because this team and the performances that showed this young team is a huge sign of hope for the return of Slovak hockey to it´s past glories in the next years.
  2. I don´t see it any realistic. I don´t see our national broadcatser applying for this, since the contest is being hold in May right during the ice hockey WCH which obviously bring them the biggest audience in the market of the year and this continuously year after year.
  3. Wow so many posts/pages I wanted to took a quick look who won etc...but there definitely too many posts and sadly I don´t have a lot of time to read everything, so just came to kindly ask who won, since even in our medias there not a single mention about this, or (more real) I am too lazy to search for it (mainly because of time...)? and where I can see the winning song ? Thanks

  17. Dude, we are eliminated. the tie breaker is the head-to.head result. GER-SVK 3-2. if both teams will finish at 12 points, they will be ahead of us no matter the score average. Our only chance to qualify is by eliminating USA, which is absolutely unlikely. We need Germany to beat USA and Canada to win over the USA in Regulation Time (ofc we have to win in regulation times our 2 last games as well to have the 12 points). That dumb last second winner of CAN against us and the last 2 minutes with 2 german goals against us costed us the quarterfinals. 1 freaking point, 1 freaking golden point...but well, that´s a sport and things like this happened, unfair but happened. maybe next year we´ll be more lucky
  18. Unbelievable that we lost against this team..they showed really only 2 good minutes at the whole tournament and scored that 2 goals in the last 2 mins...I just can not believe how German hockey is lucky here...
  19. That moment the 83rd Italian shot on goal at this tournament finally entered
  20. after 342 minutes and 3 seconds they finally scored one and in which other way it could ofc happend than in a "Italian way" by football kicking the puck to the net
  21. GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ITALIA ! Angelo Micelli scored the first Italian goal at the WCh 2019, the Bratislava arena errupted lol
