  1. The Tokyo 1964 games were infamous for the closet ever finish in Olympic cycling. It appears that organizers want to make it an interesting course and race again. I’m very excited to see the men’s course in action, but the women’s course seems a bit mundane. However, the difference in courses may give us 2 very different race, which would be highly entertaining.
  2. There’s always a chance when Olympic qualification is on the line.
  3. Well, at least they gave some forest back
  4. Feeling Blue now that one year anniversary of the 2017 World Games has passed. Well, turn that frown upside down; because a full list of video replays is now available here. (Additional Information in the edit section of the post). Enjoy!!!
  5. My Danish ancestors are sad, but the English ones are coming home
  6. If I’m not mistaken the first football matches are on Friday? Still waiting on live streaming, entries, results, and calendar; but were only 9 days out!!!
  7. I’ve been lucky enough to visit both Vancouver and Whistler and can say, without a doubt, they some if not the best places in the world. Definitely was my favorite vacation, and of course I visited almost all of the venues. My favorite was the bobsled track because I’d never seen one before.
  8. I’ve rewatched London’s at least 10 times, but never Vancouver. I rewatched Sochi a few times, and Rio already 5 at least. My favorite opening ceremony is probably Rio or the 2015 European Games. My favorite opening ceremony moment is the archer at Barcelona 1992, but my favorite caldron is either Rio or Baku again.
  9. No, I would say they are North American in culture, and very different politically (besides being allies), but they would have huge historical ties to Europe as well.
  10. The difference being that Israel is much more European culturally, historically, and politically compared to being Asian
  11. I think that might miss the waving flags
  12. I was only seven when the opening ceremony took place, but it is the first one I vaguely remember. (Obviously I’ve watched it a billion times since, because it’s the best one (maybe besides Rio)). The things I remember most are the outside shots of the swimming contest, Usain Bolt’s first gold medal, and Michael Phelps winning all the time.
  13. Except for the fact that most Israelis are European in decent, and that Israel is a member of most European organizations.
  14. I like that you of all users is threatening to report me. All you do is bring negative opinions to the forum. All I’m asking for is that you brighten up a bit and maybe expand your opinion to the positives of allowing immigrants to compete.
  15. I don’t see you complaining when your own Badminton, Table Tennis, and Athletics teams are filled with immigrants. Maybe you should just be thankful that thier allowed to compete, and stop your complaining all the time.
  16. I don’t know if they could support a team
  17. I can only access the site on an IPhone currently
  18. I think it would be interesting to see a flat-slope (piste) trick event in freestyle Skiing or snowboarding
  19. I understand the need to make such laws, but I think it could lead to a slippery slope (in terms of healthcare). However, living in a country where some people don’t even have access to basic health care, I think such a law would be ok, as long as, the government pays for the vaccines (and If they could pay for healthcare that would be great too).
  20. I don’t know about you guys, but I think Olympic pistol dueling would be pretty great . I’d love to see horseback archery (like in Brave).
  21. It is not required in the US, although it is highly recommended by most top medical outlets, business, or groups. I personally think that people not only put thier children at risk, but other people’s kids at risk as well, when they do not vaccinate thier children.
