Huge miss from all three of their runners (including the favorite) have missed the 3000m steeplechase . Only 4 runners have showed up for the race. Wait, maybe two runners are coming late? Oh god it’s a mess. All 8 entries will run the race.

I’ve found it hard to support the American teams at the games because they have not exactly been performing great. My soft spot have been doing great though

Yes, I agree. My interest hasn’t diminished by the way. I was just in a place where I wasn’t able to watch the games for a while. I’m watching again tonight, I’m just not posting as much as I was. I’d also love to say that the streaming quality has been very high (even if they don’t always stream what I want to watch). I’ve been very impressed with the quality. Hopefully my man at the Sports Institute comes through and I’m able to view more after the games.

I’m confused about the Olympic qualification talk here. I thought that 25 swimmers made the open water events, but you guys are making it sound like it’s top 10 or bust.

Well supposedly the major ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids begin tomorrow. My State is actively opposed to the raids, and we doing everything we can to help our immigrant communities (including passing out detailed legal options, giving early warnings, etc.). Trump can’t stop my amazing state from harboring immigrants who are in dire danger in their own country. We will most likely file multiple lawsuits on the immigrants behalf. I’m a firm believer in controlled opened boarders. This international wave of hate against immigrants need to stop.

So a few observations on European camping habits in California. The French Go to sleep the minute the sun sets (unless they are youth (then the party begins)). The Dutch are quite, but stay up late and keep to themselves. The Germans at stereotypical loud at times, but also respectful at night. The Irish wear that ugly green, and are hardly noticeable around camp (besides that eye sore of a flag they fly). The Belgians apparently love to party and camp half naked (and I think a few Dutchmen may be sneaking in there too), so far not ultra impressed with them. Though we traded money so they’re alright I guess. I haven’t noticed too many other nationalities at camp, but I’ve seen some Japanese and Eastern European tourists around town.
