  1. True. You are 100% right. And I didn't forget Turling surely. Let's say he is currently 4th in my predictions. He's the one to watch next season for sure. If people get interested in this thread, when we finish day 16 I can come back to square one and update all these predictions according to all suggestions and comments we will hopefully see here
  2. @dullard can you please remind me this Italian swimming site with all the top lists and stats, I somehow lost it...
  3. Coming next on Day 2, Sun 28.07 15. ARCHERY - W Team 16. CANOE SLALOM - W K1 17. FENCING - M Epee Ind 18. FENCING - W Foil Ind 19. JUDO - W -52kg 20. JUDO - M -66kg 21. 4. Thanks for your comment! You are probably right. My explaination for 2. Ledecky 3. McIntosh would be: Ledecky uses her experience in the final, not chasing Titmus too hard from the beginning and concentrating on beating the Canadian. And McIntosh will be nervous as hell, not as much as in the 2023 WCH final but still... Fortunately, this time she gets bronze. But no worries - SPOILERS ALERT - McIntosh will not leave my Imaginary Paris olympics without gold... :-) Gold for AUS in 4x100m relay - because Chalmers won't be too far away when he starts the anchor leg and he will do his magic trick again... Anyway, Aussies on the top of the medal table after Day One. Congrats! Best result for POL - hmmm.. 5th place in Mixed 10m Air Rifle Shooting event...
  5. Ok, so day 1 is done and dusted. I am very interested in your comments, predictions, thoughts and critics. But please remember: 1. i am doing this just for FUN, this is just a joke and i don't have much time for some research so it will be pretty random 2. i am obviously not an expert in any olympic sports and i don't know much about 75% of olympic sports, either so I will focus on the recent WCH results, world rankings and some personal sympathies 3. please please - don't be too harsh on other users in the comments here Now i will wait if anyone wants to join this thing with his/her own predictions and i will do Day 2 when I find some free time

  13. Yes, thank you! I forgot it existed. The only thing I would add here in this thread is the names of the ahletes from the NOCs where max quota is exceeded.
  14. Yeah, that was pretty awful for ARG But i have a feeling your team will bounce back and match against JPN will be very exciting 2022 Football World Cup didn't start well for ARG and then... I don't say ARG will win the whole thing here ofc but i think they will show some good rugby here against JPN...
  15. All this work you guys are doing here is simply excellent. I can't find anything like Road To Paris lists on WA website yet. Maybe we could work together and do sth like this here? To begin with we could scroll down all the pages in this thread and make the Q lists event by event. Maybe when the Diamond League ends or sth... We could split it for few parts and ask few users to do it. I could do M field events for example... Sth similar for swimming would be very useful as well.. what you think?
  16. Watching the Monday Day 3 evening session again to refresh some Budapest memories (Swoboda 100m SF/F story) and i have one question about M triple jump - will Andy Diaz be eligible for ITA in Paris?
  17. This weekend Rugby WC and US Open tennis. Maybe Basketball WC and Vuelta but i won’t find time for that i’m afraid. Next week off-sport: a family trip to Jordan 😉 and after that lots of sports and hopefully back to Imaginary Games Polls if anyone is interested.😉 And more and more Paris scheduling, qualifying and results simulations… 😉
  18. BTW, Polish users. FRA vs NZL on Polsat Sport Fight TV channel tonight
  19. Rugby World Cup Time! 💪 Beer is cold, snacks are ready! C’mon guys, entertain us!!!
  20. Hey, Polish users? Do you know who will be broadcasting rugby WC this year in Poland? I would like to watch it online… 😉
  21. Be careful with many SPOILERS in this thread. I am trying to do this simulation - day by day - according to the 2023 WCH results mainly, sometimes latest WCH results (2022 equestrian), some other major events (M Golf - Masters, Tennis - French Open) or some main series (rugby sevens) So there may be some fresh WCH results here sometimes (e.g. rowing WCH soon), be careful!
