@gvaisakh can add this as preparatory tournament in Hockey Australian women’s hockey team will take on India, New Zealand and Japan in the tournament from May 30 to June 5 to prepare for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Neeraj Chopra could manage only 75.52m while winning the men’s javelin silver in the International Flanders athletics meet at Oordegem, Belgium, Shivpal Singh won the bronze with 73.42m while Rajender could only manage 71.22m and was fifth. Annu Rani won the women’s javelin gold with 54.63m, Suman Devi, the other Indian in the event, had a ‘no mark’ against her name. Srabani Nanda was fifth in the women’s 200m in 23.84s. Sini A. Markose (Sinimol Paulose) was 16th in women’s 1500m in 4:31.97 Sajeesh Joseph was ninth in the men’s 800m in 1:51.37.

With this effort he climbs only a place in world ranking, But in Fedex list he climbs to 88th place from 101...that's important for him for future...

Seema Punia had another throw of 62m and above....That's a good sign..

Our para athlete are in superb form and are really doing well in international events. Hope they are recognized and I think we might get the highest medals in it...

Mahesh Bhupathi shaping the career of 2 young and future of Indian Tennis 17-year-old Karman Kaur Thandi and 18 year Sumit Nagal. Karman made headlines in last year’s junior US Open when she reached the pre-quarters, following it up with a similar showing in the Australian Open. Sumit Nagal, who has just graduated to the seniors, became the sixth Indian junior to triumph at junior Wimbledon last year. The common link between the two --- they are both backed by Mahesh Bhupathi. Karman is ranked 645 in the WTA chart while Nagal is 388 on the ATP list. Well done Mahesh keep helping to produce superb talents for the country...

@Smit Well described incident...I think Narsingh is going to get us the meal...We are totally ignoring him..He earned this by winning the meal in world Championships n not in qualifying tournament, that too it was first chance and all participated. So give him his share of glory.
