  1. It's really not I have a very clear top-2 with two songs I really, really like
  2. Yeah and it's Ahouré and Ta Lou, of course they're not (supposed to be) under-20
  3. A song where you really like the music, but are not a fan of the singing....that's hard
  4. I've got a problem: I want to listen all songs (17 to go) a second time, but I can't force myself to stop listening to my favourite one
  5. This is so stupid. Any place left where we can still watch those epic matches i.e. 5-set monster battles?
  6. More short matches, yay. https://www.itftennis.com/olympics/news/%2Folympics%2Fnews%2Farticles%2Fitf-announces-changes-for-2020-olympic-tennis-event?sf100734646=1
  7. Yeah after a second listen of my number one, I'm pretty sure nothing is gonna beat that Cool, only 11 more places to decide.
  8. More and more criticism here about a commercial of some Do It Yourself-chain of shops. I'm surprised it took a week or two for the criticism to really take off The only Dutch text in it is 'Zó ruikt het voorjaar', meaning 'This is how spring smells'.
  9. I've started a second round of listening which I hope to complete tomorrow, but if it really turns out to not be possible at least I have a basic ranking to go on
  10. Dwars door Vlaanderen today and the Belgians are again making a mess of having both a women's and men's race: again they got mixed up so the men's race had to be stopped for a while This gave problems with not everyone from the lead group being back in the lead group after they resumed racing, most notably Lukas Pöstlberger. He found the motorbike of Belgian 'motorbike reporter' Renaat Schotte and held on to him to get back to the lead group (no cheating, Pöstlberger was supposed to be in that group when resuming racing, since he was there before they had to stop due to the organization being morons). Schotte started with "I'm not allowed to ask anything" in German, but Pöstl gave a little statement in English anyway https://streamable.com/dqkui
  11. A crusade would be a bit much, yes, but I'm pretty sure it would not be the first time things we take for granted (like a baby being registered at birth and dates being pretty much correct) turn out to be a bit different in remote parts of the world. Immediately forbidding any discussion about something sensitive would not be a good idea. Apart from all that: I'm just saying what's being reported for not exactly the first time (mostly about one specific country).
  12. Films taking place in Slovakia.....always fun
  13. Quite some stuff going on about two Ethiopians in the under-20 race in Aarhus, who are officially listed as 18 years old (December 2000), but arguably might look a little older...another problem with birth registration and paperwork like that?
  14. I have! It was on a recent* episode of the Stuff You Missed in History Class podcast I'm listening when walking to and from work/study https://www.missedinhistory.com/podcasts/was-a-hungarian-countess-the-worlds-most-prolific-serial-killer.htm *actually a 2008 episode, but I started listening from the very beginning somewhere last year, almost every episode is interesting
  15. Is there a list somewhere with which countries gave twelve points to which countries? In other words, can I see somewhere which songs I gave twelve points to? I'm guessing Dear Home, Sacre Coeur and Song About Love, but not sure about the others.

  17. For some people, sadly those two things are indeed linked to each other. A: "I don't much like Congo's politics." B: "WTF dude, racist!" A: "Not a fan of Israel's politics." B: "Hitler! You're Hitler and you want all Jews dead!"
  18. I am like Thiem: I let it know if I don't like something
  19. I'm not saying I like it, just that I think it's better than lying your way out of it. That's like telling your girlfriend her food is delicious but then excusing yourself and vomiting it out in the toilet as soon as possible.
  20. I disagree. Honesty wins a lot of points in my book and he's been quite honest: he does not care much for the Olympics and is not interested in going. Fine, better than pretending to want to go but fake some injury to get out of it. That is disrespectful.
  21. Cool, any entry lists yet? More specifically for the elite women
