Same here about right wing by the way, the likes of Geert Wilders van Caroline van der Plas have absolutely riled up their large base of support to explicitly vote for Israel (when otherwise they would absolutely not give a single fuck about Eurovision). They do definitely not vote based on 'the performance of the night', absolutely no way. Wouldn't be surprised if half of their votes had already been sent before Israel even performed.

It's mostly just fun to see the thing of people hating either the jury voting or the televoting Of course those things are going to be different. This year the Netherlands would have been a good example: probably very, very low in jury points (around 20th or so I assume), but super high in televotes (top-5 at least). And it shouldn't be fully jury or fully televotes, it doesn't matter if 'the peoples favourite' didn't win, because the whole contest is not explicitly about finding 'the peoples favourite'.

Where was my calculation mistake? 58 points per voting round, 37 sets of votes for jury and televotes. I think televotes should have been 38 times 58?
