  1. One and a half hour of excruciatingly painful 'football', here we go.
  2. TV directors entirely missing the existence of Niklas Hartweg, who takes the lead after shooting 4.
  3. Ah crap, looks like they'll use the same graphics from now on we saw in the IBU Cup earlier today They were....unclear.
  4. Exactly, I know it's just race one, but so far Lampic puts Nilsson's change in a whole different light
  5. If they play the way they played against Ecuador in specifically the second half, I have no idea how the Netherlands can avoid losing to Qatar. Not joking, we've had two full rounds of group play and I still have not seen a single team play as awful for a full half as the Dutch second half against Ecuador.
  6. And she ends up not even that far away from the podium, from +1:11 after the last shooting to +0:37 at the finish and so far only Tilda Johansson is within one minute (barely) of her skiing time
  7. Anamarija Lampic throws away a potential podium on her international biathlon debut Which is not meant negatively, but the opposite: until shot 9, she was well in position for even a win! Sadly shots 9 and 10 were missed, after one miss in the prone shooting which she basically made up entirely on the skis.
  8. I'd honestly doubt that. Even those short highlight videos usually got to 2k views or so. Which is fine for something relatively obscure as the IBU Cup, but long-ass broadcasts...? I don't think a lot of people would go back and watch the whole thing...commentary or not.
  9. I think Senegal, Ecuador, Iran and England can prepare for the knockout round after today.
  10. Probably because they realize there'll be like 50 views and it's just not worth it? Although they could have looped the stadium speaker through to have something at least.
  11. Race day in both IBU Cup and World Cup and it's all available to watch and rewatch and everything
  12. As the expert here said "Technically it's a penalty because he wasn't using his arm to support himself yet, but he was very obviously falling and going to use that arm to break his fall and so support himself." In other words, insanely technically speaking, it could be a penalty (since he was like 0,5 seconds away from actually supporting himself on that arm, he hadn't fallen far enough yet), but it's basically nonsense to really give it.
  13. Right, you should let yourself fall and get a concussion, because if you try to break your fall it's hands.
  14. Yes, that is what I meant Ronaldo had nothing to do with that goal.
  15. Yeah, but everyone knows the tension among directors in this specific tournament is even way bigger. Funnier thing was that even the flag in the hands of the referee was cause for total panic
  16. All he had to do to win his bet was be prepared for 35 years in a burning Qatari prison hole
  17. No way. That was clear from the first moment but our commentator keeps giving it to him even after the super obvious replays Imagine being the guy who actually made the goal and having Mr Superstar take it away on account of being famous and nothing else.
  18. Haha, did C Ronaldo just go and take all the credits for a goal in which he was just coincidentally there and quite literally didn't even touch the ball?
  19. Also, absolute panic among the TV directors, cutting away as soon as a glimpse of the guy was seen and cutting away even quicker when we saw the referee pick up the obviously super heathen, godless, tyrannical, worst-thing-ever-made rainbow flag
  20. And that's a protester with a rainbow flag. Transported off and one can assume he won't see daylight for the next few years, if the noose isn't already prepared.
  21. Yeah, following those that aren't on TV is an issue, I feel you there Usually for that I use the Datacenter semi-replay function to at least see the splits one by one.
  22. Is there a viewer number or something for Brazilian TV? I know almost all countries have it, so surely Brazil does, but I have no idea where to find it with my mediocre Portuguese
  23. For this I'm thinkful for the replay options of nowadays, as I'll probably watch delayed as well
