  1. SHL throwing away the chance to attack his teammate.
  2. And two more splits but this time everything falls right Well, you've got to deserve luck sometimes
  3. Lottery potential 1. Christian Gow 2. Mikhail Usov 3. Alex Cisar
  4. There are situations where it's so foggy one simply can't really see the targets, which would of course be a good enough reason to cancel or postpone the race. That doesn't seem to be the case today though, it's foggy, but not the 'everything is invisible' kind of foggy.
  5. Meanwhile, rescuers from Austria and Germany have decided to stop their work in Turkey (Austria going home, Germany staying inside and only going out if there are clear indications of someone being alive), because survivors are getting more and more aggressive and violent towards - mainly - each other, with shootings starting to be reported as well now. Very understandable decision for rescuers to call it a day then... In a little brighter news: Turkey has opened the border with Armenia, which they had kept closed for 30 years, for help to come through. Might have been the much-needed push - tragic as it may be - for some better relations.
  6. It's really time for biathlon to stop the empty spots in pursuits....I mean, if Lampic says she won't race like 1h or more before the race, the 61st placed athlete from the sprint should be in if they want...Really time to start working with reserves. And not just saying that specifically now (because it's always been my opinion), when with Kozica and Bendika my two personal favourites both ended up 7-8 seconds outside of the pursuit, which sucks
  7. I assumed it was there but I didn't see it Is this seriously swimming? And not some sport with nets or something? Or any sport at all?
  8. I honestly don't know how swimming is even visible in that icon I tried and tried, but....what exactly points to a swimmer, water, a starting block or anything?
  9. Are you really sure this is not water knitting?
  10. It's not like any bookmaker gives you the chance to predict the exact podium in a relatively small sport like alpine skiing, but if they did and you'd predict Schwarz, Seger and Marsaglia for gold, silver and bronze and it ends that way....goodbye working forever
  11. To be fair, the fact Stuhec is even where she is right now in terms of performances is already a major success after her injuries, great respect for that. Hopefully we'll still get to see more of her!
  12. Still close enough to count it as a cool fun fact
  13. I don't see it happening of course, but Lie...now that would be something awesome Although I'm already more than happy with her medal
  14. Huh, I had no idea the Olympics were here That's pretty cool indeed
  15. Marco Büchel is talking about how the sun shining stronger now might have caused a slight upwind at the top part of the track. Which might explain a lot of people losing time there (and not so much in the bottom).
  16. Among the women, so far, maybe. Odermatt certainly would have thought he'd have at least a medal out of the first two events.
  17. I think if she were to really challenge for a medal here, she'd need to have a bit more than a 2nd + 5th in one weekend two years ago and an 8th + 9th a month later in another weekend, and that's it The field is small, but not because half the top of the world isn't there or something. And it would need to be way more technical for her anyway, as we saw in the super-G: one of the slowest of the entire field in the top part, but an absolute bullet in the technical bottom part.
  18. Presumably because her medal chances are significantly bigger there than on the downhill.
