  1. The "250-line" is likely to end up between Oztunc and Jukna.
  2. I honestly have no idea, but I've got a feeling I might talk to Angela, who probably knows what happened, after her competition
  3. And in the women's competition they have Maria Tsakiri. She was incredibly impressive at this year's summer world champs...I know that doesn't always mean a whole lot, but if she can translate that to the snow, that's going to be really interesting since she's also still young. We might be getting close to a World Cup-regular from Greece then
  4. Well, to make things worse:
  5. Let's just keep it with "not a whole lot" They are going to build an actual biathlon centre in Georgia though, that might help.
  6. Mishka Bekauri of Georgia is the first one to get in the double digits with 10 misses...16 minutes behind at shooting 2. I talked to his compatriot Angela Bandur earlier today (she'll compete this afternoon) and she said Mishka was the one of the Georgians in best shape...her own goal is to finish the race and have fun
  7. Yes, this new rule makes a huge difference. Last season, 375 athletes scored IBU points (eg competed in WC/IBU Cup/Open Euro). The first 332 of those had an average of less than 250 points...I suppose a lot of athletes with averages between 250 and 300 also had at least one sub-250 result so would've qualified as well As for the women, 256 of 278 on the list ended the season with a sub-250 average.
  8. Partakov is going to destroy Fourcade if he keeps this up
  9. Live timing is back and Vetle Sjastad Christiansen has finished with...yep, that's right, 0 misses
  10. IBU Qualifying Points = ((athlete’s time/winner’s time)-1) x Race Factor) + Race Penalty Race Factor: for Sprint and Individual competitions 800 Race Penalty: the sum of the points of the three highest ranked athletes in the top 10 divided by 3.75 The race penalty for all WC, WCH and OWG competitions is zero (0). Earlier in the year I made this table so when I'm at the competitions I can somewhat easily check the number of points without having to calculate stuff on my phone all the time (and so Bruna and the Brazilians have a better idea of what they'll need) The colour coding is just a little random, mostly because 150, 180 and 200 are/were "important" lines I've taken 40 as race penalty here. In most IBU Cups last season it was something between 30 and 40 (at least for the women), but as it depends on who ends up in the top-10, it's always a bit hard to predict exactly. That's why I used 40, so in most cases the actual number of points will be a little bit lower. Vertical is the winning time of the race (as you see it'll only work for sprints), horizontal is the time of athlete X behind the winner --> combine them to get the approximate number of points for athlete X
  11. The live timing isn't updating anymore btw, the storm must have cut off Norwegian internet?
  12. Interesting that you ask this, it made me look for the number of points and apparently that has changed quite drastically! I am nearly sure last season it was 200 points...if they had these rules last season (they changed them during this year's IBU Congress I guess) Bruna's 244 in Obertilliach would have made her eligible to compete in the 2nd IBU Cup trimester last season
  13. By the way, "pre shooting 2" is exactly the same as "5,5km" and "pre 5,5km" is exactly the same as "shooting 1"
  14. In comes Martin Jäger of Switzerland with a clean prone shooting
  15. Yep, I like the layout as well now It's just a shame you can't "hold and drag" down anymore, or have a scrollbar. That goes much faster than only using your mouse's scrollwheel. Edit: Never mind, there's those little arrows to go to the top or bottom with one click
  16. The only thing that's missing is a scrollbar to go from the top to the bottom very fast, I'm gonna scroll myself a broken finger if it keeps like this
  17. If you're from a small nation, this is the chance already to get a very good IBU points score in..
  18. It looks like there's a serious wind there, so many shooting misses..
  19. Gotta admit, in this way it actually works mightily fine I think
  20. I suppose it has something to do with the current position, but I don't really get in which way..
  21. Yes I just discovered that clicking the big X makes this part go away and makes the rest visible...once you find that out, it has potential
  22. The thing is, the Datacenter was full of "dead" stuff..like links to statistics that didn't exist, non-existing athlete profiles etc. The live timing was the thing that worked very well....instead of all the "dead info", they changed the live timing and now it doesn't work
  23. Literally "watch" or you mean watching the live timing? Just making sure I'm not missing a live stream
  24. By the way, www.biathlonresults.com has been all updated and renewed and everything...and now it doesn't work! It always worked so easy, but now it's like a huge maze and it doesn't work..
  25. Last year her best result came in her last weekend, where she had 244 points at the sprint in Obertilliach (which was the 3rd time any Brazilian ever shot clean by the way) She has improved incredibly much so I am very confident that, with good shooting, she is capable of systematically going well below 200 points..
