  1. Too bad it was so close, but still, near-flawless day for in Paris, two potential medals, gold and silver as result.
  2. Medal ceremony right at the venue and not at some medal plaza
  3. 100% score for these Olympics, that's an excellent start to Paris 2024
  4. That total collapse for Wilde though, giving Yee the chance to breeze past Impressive for Yee of course!
  5. Wilde's reaction at the finish shows what kind of an athlete and person he is, great job.
  6. Hidalgo disappeared...
  7. Hidalgo 3 seconds behind!
  8. Belgian commentator saying "Pay no attention to the Brazilian Hidalgo, he is a lap behind" He's running down Mislawchuk for 5th and now closing in on the French!
  9. Hidalgo running himself in the fight for bronze from 17th or so
  10. Wilde is dropping Yee?!
  11. Hayden going Wilde and joining Yee.
  12. Yee has this in the pocket, curious for the fight for silver and bronze.
  13. I wonder if the motorbike that was with the lead group has run into trouble, because that group hasn;t been shown since forever.
  14. Blummenfeldt wants to show his strength to Uno-X and Jayco Al-Ula, considering he wants to make a switch to pro cycling very soon. Also says he's going for the Tour de France win in 2028. I mean, one can dream I guess.
  15. Same here, I'll switch to sports I also don't understand but athletes with the same nationality as me win, so those are good sports
  16. OMG a Dutch win in Paris
  17. Cheering for the flag though, yay Macedo!
  18. Unbelievably lackluster 'performance' by Van 't End, did not deserve the win for even a single second. Tchau.
  19. Van 't End and Macedo busy avoiding attacks. The judo nowadays is so....negative, in terms of actual attacks
  20. And Gercsak out basically at the same time. These were not the Hungarian minutes.
  21. Depends, only until she competes against Van Dijke In all seriousness, former Olympic medalist Henk Grol is co-commentator on Dutch TV in the judo and definitely counts her as much as any other Dutch, but considering they more or less grew up alongside each other for years in judo and of course were part of the same Dutch team for a long time that makes total sense. Personal reasons definitely go ahead of the flag, as they should.
  22. Jayne throws Parlati for the win
  23. Here we go with the judo, starting with the first of three Dutch chances today
