  1. Women's Boulder Final Result Gold: Janja Garnbret Silver: Akiyo Noguchi Bronze: Shauna Coxsey 4th, Ievgeniia Kazbekova 5th, Miho Nonaka 6th, Nanako Kura Full Competition Final Ranking https://www.ifsc-climbing.org/index.php/world-competition#!comp=8253&cat=5&route=-1
  2. luckily, the stream has gone...but only after the competition's over...
  3. Noguchi's dream lasted very few seconds...Janja was so quick to reach the top in this last route...what a champion! what a woman!
  4. easy top for Noguchi! medal for the host Nation! and bitter 4th place for Ukraine... now's the time...Janja or Akiyo? 4 minutes (or less) to know...
  5. Kazbekova doesn't seem to have any clue to complete this route... still, she's currently on the bronze medal seat...she must hope that Noguchi doesn't beat her with the last attempt...
  6. I'm not a climber at all... but Lead is definitely my favourite discipline in Sport Climbing...
  7. I fear that if you don't make it with the first attempt, there's a high risk of getting arms and legs burning too much to succeed with the following attempts...
  8. right now, Japan are out of the medals despite having 3 girls out of 6 in the final!
  9. I like this route... and Coxsey is on top! and on top of the ranking!!! now pressure is growing for Janja...
  10. game not over yet... we still have a theoretical competition also for the Gold medal...
  11. luckily here it's 11 a.m. definitely more manageable... and now, Janja going for the strangle...should she make the top, the Gold is already mathematical hers before the last route (not that I think anybody can beat her today)...
  12. and Ukraine is also on top! and currently on the provisional podium...
  13. sure, but I think they could have tried to go with 2 hands on the small blue handle...probably they would have had more chances with that move rather than with the improbable jumps they tried... however, the 3rd route is also a bit weird at the start, but I think it's a lot more playable than the previous one (well, maybe not "a lot", but still)...let's see if somebody other than Janja can make it to the top...
  14. you're right... but still, 5-0 is less worse than 7-0... however, the real problem is that we need a bit more depth in the chart of this game...we need at least a few more second-tier teams raising their level and getting closer to the top teams...
  15. hey, slow down with that emoticons! or I could get really jealous!
  16. c'mon, director! show us a few more replays!
  17. Janjaaaaaaa!!!! OK, now the race for silver and bronze is officially on...Gold is up where it belongs (semi-cit. )...
  18. to me, they should forget about the yellow handle and try and stabilize their position on the first blue...then going "upwards"...
  19. this second route is not "difficult"...it's "impossible"... curious to see if at least Janja could go beyond the first move...frankly, now I'm almost falling asleep... I hope the next 2 routes are at least "playable"...
  20. however, OK...it's the world championship, but once again (like last year) they're just killing the show with such kind of routes, especially for the girls...
  21. Men's Boulder Climbers qualified to the Final 6th, Jakob Schubert 5th, Yannick Flohè 4th, Keita Dohi 3rd, Kokoro Fujii 2nd, Tomoa Narasaki 1st, Adam Ondra Full Semifinals Results https://www.ifsc-climbing.org/index.php/world-competition#!comp=8253&cat=6&route=2
  22. well, last year she was the youth world champion in Boulder...so, she's supposed to deliver in this discipline more than the others sooner or later... however, I don't really understand our technical committee...we have a clear Combined leader like Schenk (by far the our biggest talent, already 4th at the YOG last year just behind established world cup climbers) and they didn't even try to make him climb in the world cup stages nor they've brought him here at the world champs... do they really belive that Ghisolfi, Piccolruaz or Rogora can make the Games?
