Ecuador are a decent team, which often manages to qualify, but for me personally they are soooo boring. Out of all South America ones, they are at the bottom along with Bolivia (who never qualifies either way). Excluding the Big 3 from the picture, i would have preferred to have Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia, even Venezuela at the WC. Good luck to them nonetheless, but i can't see them making the 1/8.

Hmm, this doesn't bode well for Belgium. They probably tried some stuff in this match and weren't giving their all, but being in one of the toughest groups and having a lackluster form will bring some problems.

The problem is not the time or the place, it's the f'n calendar being crammed to 200%. It's unbelievable how all the leagues are still going one week before the start of the WC. There is just no break for the fans to get excited... And everything was enhanced in the last months so they can get as many matches in and not "disrupt" the leagues. They should have ended them last week at least to have a 2 week break before the start, but no.. There are just to many matches and the special ones are getting less and less.

2003 Interlagos GP is one of the best F1 races i have watched. Too bad such a race will never happen in modern times.

Given the usual results in these run-offs it will most like be a Dem win for a 50-50 tie. The Senate race is going to be a big disappointment for the Rep., as polls were expecting a good lead of 52-48, or even 53-47. By the way, i was wondering, while watching last night, how do they re-draw the borders of the districts after the new Census came in? At CNN they would often mention "Well District X has now incorporated this county, or this part, and is now leaning more Dem/Rep", which brought up my interest how exactly do they decide these restructures of district borders? Is there a formula that is being followed? Maybe @Olympian1010 can give some inside answers.
