GRANDE LORA Still can't believe this actually happened. No one was of course expecting to medal in biathlon, one of the most competitive winter sports. A regular top 10 seemed impossible with the awful season we were having. Even our commentator, who is one of the best sporting journalists we have period, and has commentated biathlon for over 20 years was very emotional and started crying. He said, he never believed he would get the chance to commentate an Olympic medal for in his lifetime, as he wasn't on deck in 1998 & 2002, but here we are. Also, damn you Frenchies, couldn't you miss some more once in a while

Seeing Klaebo dominating this way and the sport as a whole the past years, just reminds me, that we were forever robbed of a legendary Klaebo-Bolshunov rivalry So many missed clashes (not in the sprints of course, but in the other distances)..

Mmmm, Maderova had 3 podiums this season and is running 5th in the World Cup. Tomasiak is doing way worse in ski-jumping and had he won, it would have been a bigger surprise.

And as i predicted, no medal for Domen Anytime you have big favourites, who are "certain to win", then they don't win. still alive, after a disastrous last 2 seasons. A great injection for as well, though Tomasiak getting a win would have been the shock of the Olympics so far. Deschwanden getting a medal is also very good for , who are having a tremendous day. But having joint medals always sucks.
