  1. Semifinals Prediction Design available here. NOTE: At this moment there is no any scheduled doubles match for June 3rd. I am not sure when doubles semifinals (men's and women's) will be played, but since the pairs are known, you better post your complete predictions for the matches you haven't predicted yet. If you already did it and/or cannot remember whether you predicted them you can do it again, no problem about that. Only beware that your latest predictions will be counted as official. Mixed Doubles Final match will be added once semifinals are finished.

  9. Tsveti really is a fighter, I am glad with her QF performance and overall run. For the tournament it is better that Stosur won, I guess Muguruza-Stosur match would be more attractive and more uncertain. Praying for higher quality though Djokovic, Berdych, Thiem and Goffin are really unlucky with scheduling Djokovic should win, but wet conditions on clay definitely suit Berdych - heavy balls, slow surface and enough time for him to position himself for his deadly forehand.... Should be 3-1 for Novak unless his nervousness appears again in full force... Thiem-Goffin... as a fan of Novak - please five exhausting sets But as a fan of tennis - some interesting match. I would like to see Thiem winning it.
  10. Top halves Quarterfinals Prediction Design available here. Matches scheduled for June 2nd: Djokovic vs Berdych Thiem vs Goffin Williams vs Putintseva Bertens vs Bacsinszky Mixed doubles semifinals are scheduled for June 2nd too, but at this moment semifinals pairs are unknown because two mixed doubles quarterfinals will be played on the same day. Because the first match of the prediction design post starts at 13:00 Paris time, you wouldn't know which mixed doubles teams actually qualified for semifinal round, and prediction possibilities doesn't make much sense. Therefore, mixed doubles semifinals are excluded. I added in Prediction Design post all known semifinalists at the moment. You can predict all of them or only those scheduled for June 2nd.

  16. Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova were excellent doubles team back in junior days - they won Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open in 2013. Now, they back up their potential with back-to-back wins over fantastic teams Hings/Mirza and Hlavackova/Hradecka, both in two sets Next are Makarova/Vesnina, another great challenge for young Czechs!
  17. I'd say they are not. Five of 8 quarterfinalists have already been in Grand Slam semifinal. Yulia Putintseva have been very promising player, junior Grand Slam finalist and it was a matter of time when she'll start playing up to her potential. Bertens and Rogers are only players who actually surprised. Rogers much more. Displaying good game when no one expected and by beating top players and former Grand Slam champions... In other words - given the current state of WTA, this is another not-much-surprising second week of a Grand Slam. Surprise will be Putintseva-Bertens, Rogers-Pironkova semifinals

  22. They don't have enough space I think. They will rebuild and build few courts most likely in "new Roland Garros era". We'll see if it suffice. There were and are a lot of controversies on that matter between FFT, Paris City Council and Ministry of Ecology...
  23. Roof and lights are definitely needed. They won't change location, they don't have enough space - so the only logical move will be to have more time for the matches and kill that lame Sunday start. Roof over PC and SL is a MUST! I like tradition and stuff, but come on, Roland Garros became worst slam by far in terms of conditions and facilities. And complete organization and scheduling over the last decade is just stupid. Wimbledon and Aussie Open are definitely best organized slams.
