  1. Wait, so you actually chose to follow some live timing rather than watch luge WC from Lillehammer?
  2. You do realize it's a course for youth athletes, right?
  3. American Samoa is still undefeated after four races.
  4. Mozambique now leads by 3 points, although I do believe the Angolan crew has the wrong discard applied. Deficit should be 2 points. One more race is scheduled for tomorrow.
  5. Victory for Mayer, but still with three out-and-out slalom specialists in Top 5... + First ever WC point for Pfiffner.
  6. That would be impossible, thanks to their mediocrity in women's team sprint.
  7. Hopefully this time it will closer to the American speed skating suit-gate of 2014...
  8. At least we ended up with a couple of downhillers topping the leaderboard, so it will be interesting to see if fresh course gives them any help.
  9. Even Kriechmayer is slower than Tonetti... Have downhills become too technical? This is a farce.
  10. Tonetti leads Kilde *AND* Jansrud in Wengen DH.
  11. Bagnis is already better than Geng.
  12. American Samoa even leads after Day 1. Granted, there is only one other entrant. In any case, men's quota is now confirmed for , while receives a reallocation for the women's event... http://sailingresults.net/sa/results/race.aspx?ID=80319.2.1.1

  14. It is really good, but I am not familiar with its availability outside of cinema. It's not just about isolation though, there are also some wonderful insights about culture and relationship with nature in general.
  15. Watch Honeyland to see how life in the most isolated parts of Balkan looks like.
  16. 10/24 group matches ended with a tie... Quarterfinals vs vs vs vs
  17. As a little inspiration for @Olympian1010 and @Vojthas, here is an article about New Year resolutions of a small-time sports journalist who started from scratch. Her website was initially solely focused on the Belgian junior circuit. And after about ten years of climbing ranks, she started covering the Olympic Games like this (and this). Today her website is by far the most interesting place for dressage enthusiasts, and the key to success seems to be choosing quality over quantity.
  18. Filip Hrgović is apparently planning a comeback... But he will be able to compete in the World qualifier only if our other boxer fails to obtain quota at European qualifier.
  19. For it would mark a debut in football, while would be back for the first time in over five decades. It's rather a win-win situation.
  20. What's the point of having bobsleigh track if it's not permanent so that hosts gain as much advantage from it as they wish?
  21. To be fair, Magoni first admitted filming Shiffrin, and then denied it and claimed it must be conspiracy theories. That's just weird. As far as I can gather, Shiffrin's team hasn't been that inconsistent with their claims?
