  1. Olympic rankings have not been updated though. But barring anything unforeseen, it should be like this: Composite teams - Group A - Group B - Group C - Groups D/E - Group F - Group G - Overall -
  2. No Brazil will get their individual quota but through the rankings I believe. This means Venezuela will miss out. Meanwhile, it looks like Anush Agarwalla has made the Olympics thanks to a very last minute effort in Mechelen. Will have to wait on the confirmation from FEI.
  3. First points. No null once again. Unfortunately I will not be able to follow as much, or post votes, but I'll try to tune in several times. Good luck everyone.
  4. That's for the Pacific Games. Result system also has a separate bracket for the Olympic qualification, which suggests there was another tournament for the Olympic quota (logically, since few teams are ineligible).
  5. Apparently San Marino was awarded a penalty kick in the 98th minute against Finland.
  6. Chad did it! Very impressive given they were only the 6th seeds and played most of the matches as underdogs.
  7. It is. You'll have to wait for the startlists themselves.
  8. But that means one athlete will qualify one place, not that there is a limit to how many a nation can qualify.
  9. Yes, there is no limit per Group. India's chance is if the Group D quotas get reallocated to the overall rankings, but the qualification system was not clearly written there so who knows.
  10. Olympic ranking qualification simulation as of October 31st... Jumping Group A - Group B - Group C - Groups D/E - Group F - Group G - Overall - Not much drama is happening here. Lebanon is close enough to Syria in the Group F to make a threat. South Korea may be able to catch up with Thailand in the Group G. Everyone else is pretty much fixed, even Luxembourg in the overall rankings.
  11. Results are in from Montelibretti and the South African eventing competitions from the weekend... Overall there are no big implications for the rankings, except in the Group F. Jessica George won the event in South Africa and now tops the Group F rankings, however South Africa will still have only one starter as Noor Slaoui did enough in Montelibretti to overtake Alexandra Munn on tie-break. Tough luck for Usman Khan who was in for the whole year, basically, but ends up as only the second reserve following an elimination in Montelibretti. History for Morocco as never before they had qualified in eventing. As there are no more events in Europe, these individual quotas are effectively confirmed now: Group A - Group B - Group C - @Vektor Group F - Group G - Overall -
  12. And hopefully Zimbabwe won the women's just to make sure hosting the event didn't go to waste.
  13. Lia Pereira / Trennt Michaud impressed too, defeating the World bronze medalists.
  14. Oh right. So gets a couple of free ones.
  15. 50 M Rifle 3 Positions M 50 M Rifle 3 Positions W
  16. Can't believe sailing is still awarding free quotas after what happened to the Tunisian 49er FX crew after they competed for free in Tokyo...
  17. It's safe to say Mexico gave up rugby sevens once the World Rugby decided to tweak the North American Olympic qualification rules just to make sure they never qualify.
  18. Quotas for But is going to make it through the rankings so there wasn't much drama in the end. Overall a pretty poor Olympic cycle for small nations in jumping. Previously we had witnessed earning quotas at the Pan Ams. I had hopes for here but it wasn't to be.
  19. EDIT: Actually looks like the individual championship has scores carrying for the whole week this time. So, top 3 after round A are: Barcha 4.06 Kraut 7.39 Garza 9.63 And for the Olympic qualification: Larocca 13.27 Teran Tafur 14.23 Larrazabal 18.41 Covarrubias 18.96 It is going to be a tight battle. Others are all out.
  20. If Finland gains a team, then Ireland stands to get an individual reallocation. If it goes to Portugal, then Italy would profit. Other than that, battle for the individual quotas is mostly decided. Only will likely overtake both by the end while will do everything to try to overtake .
  21. Individual qualification simulation for dressage as of October 31st... Group A - Group B - Group C - Group D&E - Group F - Group G - Overall - Group F team quota is almost certainly getting reallocated to a composite team. Current ranking (sum of the top 3 riders' rankings) is as follows: 261 273 352 397 430 476 Finland though has a lot of room to improve, more so than Portugal.
  22. Course designer has on option to lower or raise the obstacle heights in between rounds so there's that. Plus you very rarely see the results staying the same.
  23. She is headed there too, but will be confirmed later. Nice little duo overall.
  24. @Bearas @Werloc Aistis Vitkauskas will have to wait and see what happens in Italy this week, but he would have to be extremely unlucky to lose the Olympics at this point... Looks like a historic moment is coming up for Lithuania.
  25. Looking at the events to come, Montelibretti is hosting a pretty sizeable show this week with riders from chasing points. Portugal and Thailand are indeed pretty close to the qualification zone, as is Morocco in Group F. This is in fact the final qualifying event in Europe so it will be now or never for these. Otherwise, South Africa is hosting an event where Jessica George will be potentially looking to secure a second individual quota (pending on what happens in Montelibretti as well). Florida will be hosting an event mid-November with possible Latin American interest, while both Brazil and Chile will be hosting events in December where the final outcome of the Latin American individual quotas will be decided.
