  1. Team qualification for eventing is now over. Individual qualification simulation as of October 31st... Group A - Group B - Group C - Group D - N/A N/A Group E - Group F - Group G - Overall - Reallocation (provisional) - Qualification system is very unclear on whether the Groups D/E are combined or not. You'd assume they must be, but the FEI is keeping the rankings separated on their website. At any rate, if Groups D & E are combined, then would qualify instead of .
  2. As it turns out, this is the first team gold for Canada in eventing since 1991. Really happy for Lindsay Traisnel who snatched an individual bronze as well. She does fly under the radar, but just by following her results over the past couple of seasons, it was clear that all ingredients were there for a notable performance.
  3. Actually a tied silver for Fagundez. Don't they have a photo finish here? Isn't that a requirement?
  4. Canada steals the team gold by 0.1 penalties.
  5. Brazil has less than a fence advantage over Canada but both look safe with four horses home each. Argentina climbed the rankings to 4th with three clear jumping rounds.
  6. Lindsay Traisnel stops the possible US top 4 sweep (for now).
  7. Love the second water complex with an Easter Island replica.
  8. Clear (even if slow) for Uruguay! Who knows, maybe top 5 is in the card for them.
  9. Pretty good start for Canada with Winter picking up just a handful of penalties. Brazil's Fonseca was clear but quite slow. Every other team had stops, with a Colombian youngster taking a harmless dive at the lake.
  10. FEI moved it under the paywall unfortunately. Beautifully crafted course. Eliott made it look very easy which of course it was never going to be.
  11. First Venezuelan shotgun shooter to qualify this century.
  12. Dressage is held at 4* technical difficulty so it was an unusual challenge for most of the teams. I did expect Canada to be doing better than Brazil this time, but overall a fairly decent showing from Mexico and Uruguay too. Argentina disappointed, but it's all to play for tomorrow. Yes, the team results are a cumulutive total of the whole three days.
  13. Juan Tafur is 70 years old. Extraordinary to see 70 years young eventer competing at this level.
  14. Gold for Mendoza, very close silver for Oliva and bronze for Marek. Individual quotas will be assigned to . Ecuador will be competing in dressage for the first time since Los Angeles 1984.
  15. Naima Moreira-Laliberte's freestyle was fun as always. Not really a fan or solo violin/piano music, but her composition is top notch.
  16. And we have an upset! Grimm secures an Olympic quota much to the delight of her support team.
  17. Very good freestyle for Losos de Muniz. This could seal an Olympic quota. Grimm has been close or better in the technical tests this week, but experience plays a big part in freestyles, so it has to be the Dominican with the upper hand here.
  18. Gold for , Olympic team quotas for . Mendoza topped the individual table today, just ahead of Oliva and Tubman. It will be a very interesting battle for the individual medals (and individual quotas).
  19. Carier Bergeron with a very impressive test. Up 7% from yesterday. This shouid seal it for Canada.
  20. Vargas 70.412% (PB) Yarur 68.000% (PB) Has Chile turned the clock back 60 years or what?
