  1. Qualified for the free skate so far: Just outside:
  2. Shizas leads, but it appears the other Canadian will struggle to qualify for the free skate. This would mean that Shizas needs Top 10 to keep two spots for Canada. Leung WD
  3. Excellent 7th place for in the men's ranking round.
  4. Yeah, just to confirm, Canada would qualify two skaters for the ladies' singles even in case their athletes placed 12th and 24th. But then again, Canadian skating is in such deep crisis, that even this seems like a tall order...
  5. Ladies singles: should qualify 3 skaters each. Anything else would be a surprise. should qualify 2-3, should qualify 2. 1-2. May profit from the ridiculous loopholes and wound up with 2 even with some average performances. And then we get to the part where individual Top 10 equals two spots (basically, one athlete earning more than one spot for the Olympics, only possible in figure skating). Kiibus, Ryabova, Paganini, Kurakova, Hendrickx, Chen are the candidates for this (definitely NOT all of them though). Pairs: should qualify 3 pairs each. should get 2-3, are looking at 2 spots each. could get lucky 2. may get the second spot by virtue of having an individual pair in the Top 10.
  6. Lang has a decent PB though (granted, from her home event). Still, should be the only chance for Hungary here in Stockholm.
  7. Well, minimum requirements are out of reach for all of these (and Simancikova appears to be in retirement). TES minimum requirement for the short program (ladies) - 30.00 Doboszova (PB) - 25.04 FIlcova (PB) - 24.09 TES minimum requirement for the short program (men) - 34.00 Klepoch (PB) - 27.88 Neuner (PB) - 32.34 Based on this, athletes who qualified for Stockholm would easily finish ahead. Minmum requirements are that high.
  8. First withdrawals due to positive tests... Safonova (ladies), Hayrapetyan (mens), Holichenko / Darenskyi (pairs)...
  9. 17 races would be grand for Marenić & Marija, who are improving by the day.
  10. You can't send just anyone though. There are minimum requirements, which happen to be more strict than even those for the Olympics.
  11. Pavicic malo o svojim planovima. https://www.eurodressage.com/2021/03/22/pavicic-and-kim-wrap-2021-cdio-wellington-week-sunday-victories
  12. Anyway, down to 12+4 songs for the Super Final... Top 7 appear preety fixed.
  13. So this post got me paranoid about every song during this evening's listen.
  14. I'm not even sure. The thing with sailing is, even with DNCs across the board, you still get a rank. Unlike other sport where you get no rank. We'll have to see, but Tunisia getting a spot by virtue of paying an entry fee would be something else...
  15. Successful this weekend in Wandin at CCI3*-L level. Two more steps to go. https://www.nominate.com.au/scoreboard/results/web/FinalScores.aspx?ClassID=43784&EventID=6631
  16. Well, at least her qualifications were never based on race-fixing.
  17. But then again, comparing archery to fencing in the wrestling qualification thread may be a tiny bit off topic.
  18. I believe the point was - How come fencing can have all these weapons, while archery must be limited to recurve only? And it is a very good point. For an average audience, recurve/compound are just a variation on the theme the same way foil/epee/sabre are.
  19. Nope, I meant a new, frustrated dominant athlete created by previous dominant athlete(s).
