  3. Shouldn't it be top 22 at least? 60 teams members 4 nations that will fail to qualify a team 8 medalists from last year (could be reduced to 5) 3 continental quotas (2 Africa + 1 Oceania) 1 tripartite That's 76, what leaves 22 quotas for individuals.
  4. Quarterfinals in women's foil (winners qualify) Leleyko vs. Hatuel Kontochristopoulou vs. Sheppard Karamete vs. Mondt Wohlgemuth vs. Calugareanu Is it going to be 3rd time lucky for Austria? They already lost decisive bouts in both men's epee and men's sabre today!
  5. This the ranking of the currently unqualified nations (after 1st subdivision) - It's not defined yet how many will qualify. But, according to my calculations, somewhere between 22 and 32 individuals will quafliy (it depends on a lot of factors). Top 22 should be completly safe.
  6. Well, you can see Starčević's match at UWW website. Judge for yourself if the winner was right... Meanwhile, we can already say that Ude is 100% qualified for Rio after 1st subdivision. Ude scored 85.599. Only Colombia and Armenia finished ahead (from those nations vying for quota places).
  7. gets the last one. We still have women's foil today (which also has 4 quota places on offer).
  8. First three qualifiers are Bulgaria's qualification is quite an upset! Georgia did it too (though that's not a surprise).
  9. Quartefinals in men's sabre (bout winners will qualify for RIo) Yagodka vs. Willau Voronov vs. Bazadze Honeybone vs. Paskov Yildirim vs. Van Holsbekke
  10. Philippines qualify in table tennis for the first time ever! And this is already their 2nd quota today (which is huge considering that they had only 3 athletes qualified before today).
  11. Audience is literally 2 meters away from fencers.

  16. We already have draws for day 2, but still no results for day 1! http://www.ma-regonline.com/downloads/823/ASIAN%20QUALIFICATION%20TOURNAMENT%20FOR%20RIO%202016%20DRAW%20-%20DAY%202.pdf
  17. Lol, okay. So nice when judges award a win to wrestler who didn't do anything in the whole match (despite having his opponent put 3 (!) times on the ground for "passivity").
  18. Looks like one of Indonesia or Philippines is guaranteed a quota in women's singles. Huge success, whoever wins.
  19. Any results/live stream for Asian tournament?
  20. Some Q&A for the test event... http://www.the-all-around.com/2016/04/15/rio-2016-gymnastics-qualifying-faq/
