Very happy for the Italian victory! When we chose the song we have no special hope: we know that is a catchy song but the video is vintage and the song is in Italian so maybe not everyone will appreciate it, after listening all the songs (many of them very good) I hope in a good placement but I didn't think we can win Thanks for the wonderful show @vinipereira and see you again for the open contest

You have to decide what you want to do with the competition 1) pick a catchy song that has better chance but you don't like 2) choose a song you love and give it the chance to be spread in the world in countries where it hans't arrived yet We use always the second option: sometimes we are lucky like (maybe) this time, sometimes it's a failure like last year with Samarcanda a beautiful song that very few liked but even when it goes wrong we are happy because we are proud of our song

First after the first and the second break and first on the team race: it seems like the old times all over again (hope the end will be different)

Mmm I'm not convinced, my avatar is a pretty little ant but Italy got no points from them Maybe they need glasses? Anyway I'm very happy to see that the first countries liked our song, hope to keep this place until the end but it would be hard because it's a very difficult competition with many good songs (and as always a beautiful logo)

By the way the live draw was wonderful, I don't know what to expect about the show with a draw so exciting: my expectations are rising

I agree with heywoodu but I think the committee should decide because if Turkey is in again they have more work to do starting from the voting order.

Great Italian team and then we know where Dunadan was focusing Thanks Ldog and quasit for the constest, it was my first time with this kind of contest but it was very enjoying even if I didn't go well.

Now I know what Ledecka is feeling First of all thanks to Wanderer and every one who helped to prepare the contest and keep them running, we have daily results, lots of contenders and different medallists (and great Italian team!!!), it seems the old days coming back. I think the new form for the contest worked good and it has been easier and faster to fill them. Because I'm generous By the way I'm a woman and the LDOG's explanation about my name is correct. Francesca is only a female name, the male version is Francesco like Francesco Totti Nicola is only a male name in Italy, the female version are Nicoletta and Nicole. Andrea is a typical male name in Italy but in the last 20 years people started to use it also for girls.

I know it's incredible, I feel a lot of pressure and I hope not to end like Peiffer in Biathlon mixed relay I have a secret weapon but it's not bet sites (in Italy I don't think that bets on skeleton or skii jumping exist) but I will tell you at the end of the OG.

The same reasons are valid for the team events and even more important in the alpine competition here the problem is not only the shape of the athletes but what can happen in the trainings even before the single race. Anyway I like this format because it's not enough to be an expert (otherwise it would be impossible for me to hope in a medal) but you must be also lucky or a good soothsayer: they are quite unpredictable like the real sports! OG starts on 9th February but every prediction is already open: well done managers!
