  1. @bmoOK man, if you like AEW, no one is stopping you from watching. But I totally must disagree with you that WWE is unwatchable, especially SummerSlam, because every single match have it's own unique storyline, which makes it special. Bayley and Sasha Banks, "The Fiend", Drew McIntyre, they are the best performers at the moment and have the best feuds and storylines, as couple of times I said before - Bayley and Sasha's storyline is something I adore right now, it's just awesome.
  2. WWE SummerSlam 2020 Results Soon the PPV will begin and right here, we'll have a live reaction of it. Stay tuned!
  3. WWE SummerSlam 2020 Prediction: United States Champion Apollo Crews vs. MVP Singles Match for the United States Championship MVP is a legend in the company and his role is more like a manager than a wrestler. He doesn't need the title, so there is no point of giving it to him. Apollo is retaining here and we can see two paths for him - starting a feud with another member of "The Hurt Business" or maybe joining them. But those are just speculations, so for the time being Apollo will stay the US Champion. Prediction: Apollo Crews retains the US title Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville No Disqualification Match. Loser Leaves WWE The original stipulation for this match was - Hair vs. Hair, as the winner must shave loser's hair, but it was later changed to a No DQ, as the loser must leave WWE. The feud between the two was a bit off (for me), but nonetheless this will end it. Probably the stipulation was changed, because one of the two asked for a time off and this is the way to write the wrestler off of TV. It's a 50/50 here, because both women are stuck in the under-card for sometime now. It's still safer bet for Rose to win the match, so I'm going with it. Prediction: Mandy Rose wins RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. Andrade & Angel Garza Tag Team Match for the RAW Tag Team Championship My personal opinion on this is that I'm really pissed with The Street Profits. They are boring, unfunny and I just don't like them. They are holding the titles for 173 days and I think that's enough. Also, besides Andrade & Garza, there is no other heel team that could go on to challenge The Street Profits for the title. Both Andrade & Garza are great wrestlers and putting the titles on them will be a great mix for the tag division. Prediction: Andrade & Angel Garza capture the RAW Tag Team Championship Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins Street Fight The saga between the Monday Night Messiah and Mysterio family continues. This will be Dominik's in-ring debut and what an upset could happen if he beats Rollins. But thinking logically, this kid doesn't have any experience and getting beat up by Seth is the most logical thing. But as the match is a Street Fight, there will be a lot of interference by both Rey Mysterio and Murphy. Could we also see an interference by a returning Aleister Black? This is very personal for Dominik, as he is here to defend the pride of his father. For Dominik it's not just a match, but a shot at redemption for his father. Prediction: Dominik defeats Rollins SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley vs. Asuka Singles Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship This PPV will take the first major step in the dissension of Bayley and Sasha. For that to happen, one of the two must lose her belt to Asuka. Bayley in the past few weeks has been booked very weak and poorly. First she lost clean to Asuka on the August 10th episode of RAW, then was tapped out by Shayna Baszler on the August 17th episode of RAW (it was a tag team match, also involving Sasha Banks and Asuka) and finally, Bayley lost clean to Naomi on the August 21st episode of SmackDown. WWE had put a lot of work for Bayley in the past year and she is the top heel of SmackDown, so after all those loses she'll prove herself, when it matters the most. Prediction: Bayley retains the SmackDown Women's Championship RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks vs. Asuka Singles Match for the RAW Women's Championship As I said for the previous match, one of the "Role Models" will going to lose her belt to Asuka. As I predicted Bayley to retain, it's simple to say that Sasha Banks will lose her RAW Women's Championship. The storyline for the night will be something like this - Bayley must defend her title first, as she lost a "Beat the Clock Challenge" to Sasha on the go-home show of SmackDown. After a grueling match, Bayley will be victorious and will walk out with her title. After the match, Asuka will be weakened and Banks will think that she'll easily retain her title too. Well, nope! In the start of the match, Banks will be aggressive, but Asuka will turn things around and will pin/submit Banks to win the title. Maybe next week on Payback, Bayley and Sasha could lose their Tag Titles and the tension between them will grow immensely. Prediction: Asuka to win the RAW Women's Championship Universal Champion Braun Strowman vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt Falls Count Anywhere Match for the Universal Championship I think WWE have done great work with this feud, which started immediately after WrestleMania 36 and this will be it's final chapter. We could say, this is the rubber match between the two, because at Money in the Bank, Strowman defeated Bray Wyatt. Then at the Extreme Rules PPV, Wyatt defeated Strowman. From this point onward Strowman has started to act a little different, a bit more menace and as you can see, he changed his hairstyle. The story which we were presented was that Strowman doesn't care for his friends anymore and he only wants to end the existence of "The Fiend". In conclusion I would say that Strowman has turned heel, as he tried to injure/kill Wyatt on the go-home show of SmackDown. On the other hand, we have a creature, who even tried to help and save Alexa Bliss from the hands of "The Monster". Could we see a face turn for "The Fiend", we'll wait and see. I'm sure the match, with enough given time, will be awesome and I'm looking also for a interference from Bliss. Prediction: "The Fiend" wins the Universal Championship WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton Singles Match for the WWE Championship Both of them are the best wrestlers on the RAW Brand. From the moment McIntyre won this WWE Championship, he has proven himself to be worthy as a champion and a locker room leader. As of Orton, he's having an amazing heel run as "The Legend Killer" and he's the top heel of the company at this moment, so putting this two together is just brilliant. A few speculations were told, that Orton would go and win the title, probably holding it until WWE can have live audience again, so that Drew can beat him and receive this big pop, which he couldn't had at WrestleMania. Other speculations I heard was that Orton would hold the title until WrestleMania 37 and then drop it to Edge. It's very hard to predict a match like this, because if either man wins, it will be both a shock and believable. My gut says Orton, with the help of Ric Flair (which will be a big swerve), but also having now the "Thunderdome" may tilt the scales in Drew's favor. Prediction: Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship
  4. We're just 8 days away from SummerSlam. For now 8 matches are announced, as everyone have from very good to amazing story, besides the one for the US Championship. I'm not gonna talk about the matches, as next week we'll have a prediction post and a live-reaction post. SummerSlam will not take place at the "Performance Center". Originally it was supposed to be held at the "TD Garden" in Boston, Massachusetts, but on May 8, the ongoing pandemic forced Boston mayor Marty Walsh to suspend all large-scale gatherings until September 7, effectively canceling WWE's planned events in the city. WWE was planning to have a live audience and was ready to postpone the event until September 7th, just to have an audience, but later on August 14th was announced , that SummerSlam will take place at the "Amway Center" in Orlando, Florida and would feature a "virtual fan experience". It's very interesting to me, how this "virtual fan experience" will work, because I've never seen something like this. Also I want to say, I'm very happy that WWE finally changed the venue, because I'm really tired of the PC and I'm certain that it's not only me. It looks like this new "virtual fan experience" is already used for the NBA. I've looked at YouTube video for how the VFE works and it's really awkward, but it's still safer than going live. I hope very soon WWE can bring live audience, as I'm pretty sure when that happens the crowd will really explode the place. Ok that's for today. See you at next week, for the RAW and SmackDown reviews and for the SummerSlam predictions.
  5. On to the July 27th episode of RAW. In the opening segment Randy Orton challenged Drew McIntyre for SummerSlam, which is awesome, because we'll get to see one of the biggest heels in the face of Orton going against the fan favorite McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Nia Jax got interrupted by Shayna Baszler which turned into a brawl, probably the two women will have a short program together. Andrade & Angel Garza def. The Viking Raiders and Ricochet & Cedric Alexander. This was a Triple Threat Match to determine the #1 Contenders for the RAW Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam and I really hope to have a new tag champions in the near future, because I'm tired of The Street Profits and for me they're really boring, comparing them to teams like Rollins & Ambrose and Sheamus & Cesaro. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler ended in a double count-out. They continued to brawl on the outside, WWE official and security had to interfere, but even they couldn't stop them. Referees took Baszler out of the ring, giving the upper hand of the segment to Jax. Next we had an amazing segment, which escalated the feud between Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio. Rollins invited Dominik to the ring, but it was all a trap as both Rollins and Murphy started assaulting Dominik. Aleister Black went for the save, but unsuccessfully, as Murphy drove his head and eye in to the steel steps. The segment ended as Dominik attacked both Rollins and Murphy with a kendo stick really going berserk on them. Bobby Lashley def. Mustafa Ali, a strong booking for the MVP's new faction. It's time for the rematch from Extreme Rules for the RAW Women's Championship between Asuka and Sasha Banks. Again an amazing back and forth match, as both were focusing their attacks on the opponent's legs. The finish was again a bit off, as on the titantron is shown how Bayley is assaulting Kairi Sane in the backstage. Kairi is screaming for Asuka's help and Asuka left the ring and went to the backstage to help her friend. Thus the referee counted to 10 and declared Banks the winner and the NEW RAW Women's Champion. Bayley then went to the ring and both celebrated that they are double champions. Kairi Sane is officially out of the company, so definitely Asuka will continue her feud with the role models. Murphy def. Humberto Carrillo ...meh, more Mexican wrestlers WWE Champion Drew McIntyre def. Dolph Ziggler in an Extreme Rules Match. After the match Orton attacked McIntyre with a RKO. July 31st episode of SmackDown. On the "Firefly Fun House", Bray said that Braun still have something that "The Fiend" is interested in, talking about the Universal Championship. Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles def. Gran Metalik to retain the IC Championship. Nothing unexpected here either. King Corbin def. Drew Gulak. Here we saw that Shorty G, formerly known as Chad Gable, turned heel. Big E def. The Miz Naomi def. Lacey Evans SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley def. Nikki Cross to retain the Women's Title. After the match "The Fiend" attacked Alexa Bliss in a scary segment. Maybe it's time for Bliss to turn heel again, I don't know. This segment left us with lots of questions and I hope we'll get the answers soon enough.
  6. Continuing from the previous post, let's make a review for the two RAW and SmackDown shows, following the Extreme Rules PPV. We'll begin with the July 20th episode of RAW. I'll focus only on the main storylines, because reviewing four shows is not that easy thing. In the opening promo of the show, Aleister Black confronted Seth Rollins, which resulted in a match between the two. Rollins picked up the win after a Curb Stomp and a post-match assault followed with Murphy and Seth attacking Black's injured arm. With the segment, Rollins looked really strong and monstrous, which really suits his persona. And Black is left with a possibly arm injure, which could take place in a later point. In a backstage promo, Shelton Benjamin defeated R-Truth, after a kick to the head, to become the NEW 24/7 Champion. Then MVP, Bobbly Lashley and Benjamin went to the ring and addressed MVP's "win" over Apollo last night at Extreme Rules, just to be interrupted by Ricochet, Cedric Alexander and the returning Mustafa Ali. Then they had a 6-Man Tag Team Match in which Mustafa Ali pinned MVP. The main story here is all about the return of Mustafa Ali and that's the reason he picked-up the win for his team. Ruby Riott def. Peyton Royce in a decent match, maybe The Riott Squad will reunite in the future, although Sarah Logan was fired a few months ago. RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits def. Andrade & Angel Garza ... meh... there is some feud between these teams, but nothing special for me. Sasha Banks and Bayley are in the ring addressing the result from last night and that they both now have two strap belts. As you watch them, you just know they're having so much fun doing this. They were interrupted by Asuka and Kairi Sane, but then on the titantron Stephanie McMahon appeared to announce that neither Banks or Asuka is the RAW Women's Champion, because neither of them has actually won the match. Then Stephanie announced for next week a rematch between the two for the RAW Women's Championship. After the segment Kairi Sane defeated Bayley in a non-title singles match, probably as a send off, cause Kairi is leaving WWE. Drew McIntyre agreed to a rematch against Dolph Ziggler as this time McIntyre would choose the stipulation. Randy Orton defeated Big Show in an Unsanctioned Match and after the match Orton assaulted Show with a Punt Kick to the skull, cementing his top heel place in the company. OK, that's it from the July 20th episode of RAW, so let's continue with the July 24th episode of SmackDown. Sasha and Bayley are again in the ring celebrating the fact, that they are holding the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championship and the Women's Tag Team Championship. Then they got interrupted by Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, as Cross demanded a rematch from Bayley, as she was robbed at Extreme Rules. Bayley agrees, but with the condition that Cross must face her friend Alexa and the winner would receive a championship opportunity. Nikki Cross def. Alexa Bliss - with that Cross wins a championship match against Bayley, but what is more important is that we see a rupture between the two. Next is the Firefly Fun House in which Bray is talking about Braun and that he's not finished with him. Absolutely loving that and expecting a SummerSlam match between Braun and The Fiend for the Universal Championship. Matt Riddle def. Tony Nese - don't care really at all Gran Metalik def. Lince Dorado, Shorty G and Drew Gulak as the winner receives an Intercontinental Championship opportunity against AJ Styles for next week. Again nothing special for me here. Jeff Hardy def. Sheamus – Bar Fight. Well that happened. From SmackDown still I'm looking forward for "The Fiend", as he's my favorite character from the whole roster. Also I'm loving the chemistry between Banks and Bayley, still looking forward for their break-up.
  7. Haven't written anything here for some time, so let's make an overview of the last PPV, and the overall storylines. "The Horror Show at Extreme Rules" was the last PPV, which took place on the July 19th. On the Pre-Show, Kevin Owens defeated Murphy, probably building himself for a future feud with Rollins. Cesaro and Nakamura defeated in a very entertaining match The New Day, as Cesaro put Kofi through not one, but two tables which were stacked on top of each other. With that Cesaro and Nakamura became the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Then it came the first of two Women's Championship matches, as Bayley faced-off against Nikki Cross. With a few shenanigans, Bayley was able to retain the title, after Banks was able to slip in her "BOSS" rings, which were used as brass knuckles. The United States Championship was supposed to be defended next, but with Apollo Crews missing the PPV, probably with doubts for coronavirus, the match was scrapped. Next, Rollins defeated Mysterio in a very bizarre match, which had the stipulation, that the only way to win the match is to extract an eye of their opponent. The match was great and could have ended with someone having an eye injure, but the thing WWE came with was just awful. They had a fake prosthetic eye, which fall of Mysterio's face. while Rollins was disgusted by the view and puked on the floor. Next was the best match of the evening, Asuka defending the RAW Women's Championship against Sasha Banks. They had an amazing back and forth match with Banks looking incredible. The finish was a bit off with Asuka having Banks locked into the Asuka Lock. Banks tapped out, but the referee was distracted by Bayley and didn't saw it. Then Asuka went for the Green mist, but accidentally sprayed it into the referee's eyes. While the referee couldn't see anything, Bayley hit Asuka with her title belt, put on the referee shirt, counted the pin and declared Sasha as the new champion. But later, WWE declared on their website that the match is a no contest and that Asuka is still the champion. I really loved the finish, because it reminded me of the old school matches, that WWE had produced in the past. Still I'm very devoted to this storyline between Sasha and Bayley and I love what WWE had created thus far. Next on the line was the WWE Championship, as Drew McIntyre defended against Dolph Ziggler. The match was under Extreme Rules stipulation, but only for Ziggler. Furthermore, had McIntyre gotten disqualified or counted out, Ziggler would have won the championship. Almost the match felt, as a long-term booked one, but it was only a filler, as in the end after a Claymore Kick, McIntyre retained the WWE Championship. And as the main event, we had a pre-taped video match, similar to the Undertaker - AJ Styles match which took place at WrestleMania 36. It was big chaos with lots of past references. Alexa Bliss also was included, probably playing the role of Sister Abigail. With the end we saw, Wyatt using the Mandible Claw to drag and drown Strowman in the swamp. Then Wyatt himself got pulled under the muddy water only to re-emerge as The Fiend. So that's the results of the Extreme Rules PPV. Let's go and check now how the storylines are progressing from the PPV onward.
  8. WWE Backlash 2020 Results United States Champion Apollo Crews def. Andrade (1/1) Got the first one! Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley & Sasha Banks def. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross and The IIconics (2/2) Glad they retained, it was an ok match. Looking forward for their break-up. Sheamus def. Jeff Hardy (3/3) The feud will continue and I'm almost 100% sure we'll have some type of an Extreme Rules Match. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Nia Jax ended in a Double Count-Out (3/4) Again, the feud will continue, but sad for Asuka, after the departure of Paul Heyman, her push is stopped. Universal Champion Braun Strowman def. The Miz & John Morrison (4/5) WWE Champion Drew McIntyre def. Bobby Lashley (5/6) RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. The Viking Raiders I'm not gonna count it, because their match didn't actually start. Randy Orton def. Edge (6/7) An excellent match, but sad for Edge, he suffered a triceps injury so he'll be out 6 to 8 months. It was really a filler PPV, didn't see anything special. No really good storylines. But SummerSlam is coming close, so I hope things will go better.
  9. OK, let's do this prediction as quick as possible. WWE Backlash 2020 Predictions Edge vs. Randy Orton First we have "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever", which is a singles match between Edge and Randy Orton. I haven't watched any RAW or SmackDown show in a month, right after the Money in the Bank PPV, so I'll be using lots of logic and no actual storyline. OK, back to the match. Edge and Orton last competed at WrestleMania, where Edge won a Last Man Standing Match. They will probably push this feud for one more PPV, let's say SummerSlam, so basically they must even the score. Edge leads 1-0, so Orton have to win the match to level the score 1-1. Prediction: Randy Orton WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley Next we have the WWE Champion, defending his title against the powerhouse Lashley. But unfortunately for the challenger, Drew is still far from dropping the title, so Lashley is just there to eat a Claymore Kick and the three count. Prediction: Drew McIntyre Universal Champion Braun Strowman vs. The Miz & John Morrison A 2-on-1 handicap match, similar to the 3-on-1 handicap match, which took place back at Elimination Chamber, where Strowman lost his Intercontinental Championship. Probably Miz and Morrison will try to do the same and use their numbers advantage to hold the monster down. Maybe in their heads this sounds good, but in reality we'll see the Strowman Express, squashing them beneath. I'm eager to see if Wyatt will do something after the match, because definitely, their feud is not over yet. Prediction: Braun Strowman RAW Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Nia Jax Asuka has just won the title and this is her first title defense. I don't like Nia Jax, she's not a good worker, rather pretty unsafe and I hope she's not getting the title anytime soon. Prediction: Asuka Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus No idea what's the storyline in this one. The only thing I know is that Jeff defeated Sheamus in the Intercontinental Championship tournament. A second loss for Sheamus will be a bit tough to handle, so looking for Sheamus to even the score at one a piece. Prediction: Sheamus Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. The IIconics It was a little weird to see that Bayley and Sasha took the belts off of Bliss & Cross, because I expected The IIconics to do that. The thing I'm eager the see the most is the blow-up between Sasha and Bayley and I'm thinking, when is the rightest moment to do this. SummerSlam or not, there is no logic to give the titles to Bayley and Sasha and to take them off two weeks later. The thing I'm sure for is that the titles will 100% play later into their break-up. Prediction: Bayley & Sasha Banks United States Champion Apollo Crews vs. Andrade Andrade has held the title for a big period of time and really, he became boring. Apollo as the new champion is a fresh face and he can deliver pretty good matches. Apollo has just won the title, so giving it back to Andrade is not an option. Prediction: Apollo Crews RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. The Viking Raiders Well you got me here. I have no idea about this one. In the last month a series of pre-recorded videos were shown on episodes of RAW, showing the two teams, battling in different sports. This is so 50/50. Prediction: The Viking Raiders
  10. Apollo Crews defeated the U.S. Champion Andrade at the May 25th episode of RAW to capture his first championship in WWE.
  11. Here is the draw for the Intercontinental Championship Tournament: On the May 15th episode of SmackDown: Daniel Bryan def. Drew Gulak Elias def. King Corbin On the May 22nd episode of SmackDown: AJ Styles def. Shinsuke Nakamura Jeff Hardy def. Sheamus So we now know the semifinal matches: Daniel Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy Elias vs. AJ Styles I'm try to predict the outcome of the tournament. Daniel Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy. This match can go two ways. The first is to have a hard fought match with Hardy getting the win and the second way is Sheamus to attack Jeff leading to a Bryan win. But because both Jeff and Bryan are babyfaces I'll go with the first option - a great technical match with Hardy snagging the victory. Elias vs. AJ Styles - definitely going with the hot heel, AJ Styles is winning this match, presumably after interference from Corbin. And for the final we have Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles. Sheamus will interfere and cost the match for Jeff, thus continuing their feud. So my prediction is that AJ Styles will win the tournament and become the new Intercontinental Champion.
  12. Sami Zayn vacated the Intercontinental Championship. There will be a tournament to crown the new Intercontinental Champion.
  13. And great news from Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch is pregnant and she's giving the RAW Women's Championship to the winner of the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase, so we have a NEW RAW Women's Champion and that is Asuka.
  14. Kick-Off Match: Jeff Hardy def. Cesaro (1/1) A decent match, a little longer than expected. Cesaro looked great in defeat, while making Jeff to look great. The next chapter of Hardy's career started with a success. On to The Celtic Warrior. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day def. Lucha House Party, The Miz & John Morrison, The Forgotten Sons (2/2) It was an OK match, but it was far from what I'm expecting from a tag team bout. Maybe they decided to work a safe match, which worked well enough. The ending was a bit slopish, because it didn't make any sense for the referee to eject Jaxson Ryker from the ringside in a No DQ match. Bobby Lashley def. R-Truth R-Truth vs. MVP did not happen, so I'm not going to count it. SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley def. Tamina (3/3) Well build match, as Tamina represented the power and Bayley - the technicality and strategy. Tamina started strong, but Bayley found a way attacking her leg. The story between Bayley and Sasha is so much entertaining for me and I can't wait for all of it to happen. Tamina was able to deliver the Samoan Drop, but Sasha interfered which resulted in Bayley to roll-up Tamina for the 3 count, thus retaining the title. Universal Champion Braun Strowman def. Bray Wyatt (4/4) Amazing! In everything Bray is in, matches, promos, he delivers big time. As expected we had "Firefly Fun House" Bray. Some great action from both, I loved the match. Bray behaved pretty crazy throughout the whole match. The ending was pretty interesting too. Braun used some of Bray's mind tricks to be able to beat him. From Bray's point of view, it was like in his childish mind that his old friend is back and for some time, he was happy, but he was betrayed again. After the match, we saw Bray's psychopathic look, signaling that this is not over and that "The Fiend" is about to surface. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre def. Seth Rollins (5/5) Awesome match. Good back-and-forth action. We had every stop, that a championship match needs, but a very weird handshake after the match between the two. Let's see where this handshake will take us to. PS. I don't like Seth's new theme song. Asuka won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match (5/6) Otis won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match (5/7) Both of the Men's and Women's Ladder match was a lot of fun to watch. In the headquarters, there was a lot of funny skits, including Paul Heyman, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon. The winners for me, didn't make any sense. First for the Women's, why only 3 of them were on the roof. Where were Shayna, Carmella and Dana Brooke, nowhere to be seen. I'm little disappointed that Shayna didn't win this. Even more pointless was the win of Otis, at least it was funny. It's sad that Otis will definitely fail at his attempt to cash in the briefcase, unless he loses it in a match to another superstar. It was a decent PPV with the most interesting matches for me were the Universal Championship and the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The choice for winners was a bit strange for me, but let's hope it can work.
  15. WWE Money in the Bank 2020 Prediction: SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley vs. Tamina Singles Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship The main story around the SmackDown Women's Championship is centered on the friendship of the current champion Bayley and Sasha Banks. We will continue to watch the disintegration of their friendship, until Sasha turns into babyface and challenge Bayley for the title, presumably at SummerSlam. Plus, Tamina pinned Bayley at the go-home show of SmackDown, so there is no chance for Tamina to walk out as champion. Prediction: Bayley wins and retains the title SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. Lucha House Party vs. The Miz & John Morrison vs. The Forgotten Sons Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship A lot of times the Tag Titles have changed hands in Fatal 4-Way matches, but I think we must take in consideration, that The New Day and Lucha House Party lost a tag match against The Miz & John Morrison & The Forgotten Sons at SmackDown. For me, Lucha House Party have 0% chance of winning the match, as well as The Forgotten Sons, because it's too early to put the titles on them. And really, putting the titles back on Miz & Morrison will do nothing for them, as they just lost them and from this point on you can build their dissension resulting in a match. So I think The New Day are the best choice for now, because of the coronavirus and WWE trying to keep their fans happy and distracted from reality. Prediction: The New Day retains Asuka vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke vs. Lacey Evans vs. Carmella Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a Women's Championship Match Contract So taking in consideration the things happening for both RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships, I think the winner of the match must be from the RAW brand, because as I wrote above, the feud for the SmackDown Women's Championship going forward to SummerSlam will be between Bayley and Sasha, so I don't think any other threat will be added for them, therefore Lacey Evans, Carmella and Dana Brooke drop out as an option to win. Nia Jax doesn't really need the briefcase and Shayna is way more well build, than Asuka and really the briefcase does suit Baszler's character. Prediction: Baszler wins the ladder match Daniel Bryan vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Aleister Black vs. King Corbin vs. Otis vs. AJ Styles Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a World Championship Match Contract Here I'm really stumped, because I have no clue who could win the briefcase. From RAW we have - AJ Styles, Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio, as for SmackDown - Daniel Bryan, King Corbin and Otis. People who I can't see winning the briefcase are Otis and Rey Mysterio. Corbin is permanently in the mid-card, WWE once tried and gave him the MITB briefcase, but it was a failure, but I do expect to see someone to throw Corbin off the building. Aleister Black is still new to the roster and he has yet to win a mid-card title before being pushed to the main card. Bryan is good option to win the match as the biggest babyface going in, but the briefcase does suits much better on a heel, so we're left with Styles. After his disastrous pre-WrestleMania run, it's time again for a push. Prediction: AJ Styles wins the match Universal Champion Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt Singles Match for the Universal Championship At first, I was afraid from this feud, because I didn't see neither of them losing, but sometimes you must watch a bit further to see the truth. As we all see in the promotion picture above, Strowman is not facing "The Fiend", but the "Firefly Fun House" version of Bray Wyatt. So this feud will definitely continue after Money in the Bank, as for this match I think Braun will retain the title resulting in Wyatt going nuts and calling his "friend" for help. Eventually as "The Fiend", Wyatt will defeat Strowman to capture his second Universal Championship. Prediction: Strowman retains WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins Singles Match for the WWE Championship I hope for this to be a great match. WWE did a great work, building McIntyre to this point, as he delivers great promos and matches as well. Seth is here only to lose, as Drew had just won the title and he will hold it for at least a few more months. Prediction: McIntyre retains the title Jeff Hardy vs. Cesaro Singles Match A match just put out there to fill up the card. Hardy has just returned from injury and as we saw in the previous weeks, he will start a feud with Sheamus. So this match is just to shake off the ring dust from Hardy with Cesaro as a great sport. Prediction: Hardy wins R-Truth vs. MVP Singles Match Again just a filler match to fill up the card. There is no storyline going on between this two, so guessing the winner from this is a 50/50. Maybe MVP's associates Shane Thorne & Brendan Vink could help him to pick up the win. Prediction: MVP
  16. Yeah, WWE will continue to broadcast shows and despite the situation they will be LIVE. Unfortunately, a lot of superstars have been released, due to the Corona virus outbreak. Some of which so far are: Drake Maverick Curt Hawkins Eric Young Karl Anderson EC3 Lio Rush Kurt Angle Rusev Zack Ryder Luke Gallows Heath Slater Rowan Sarah Logan No Way Jose Mike Chioda Mike Kanellis Maria Kanellis Aiden English Primo & Epico And many more to come. Freshly hot out of this SmackDown, we have NEW SmackDown Tag Team Champions, as Big E defeated The Miz and Jey Uso in a Triple Threat Match to win the gold and now The New Day are 8th time Tag Team Champions. Edit: For now Bray Wyatt, not "The Fiend", is scheduled to face Strowman at Money in the Bank. If that is about to happen, Strowman will have better chances of retaining, but if the PPV is taped, then we could see both Bray Wyatt and "The Fiend", via camera tricks and cuts.
  17. WWE SmackDown - April 10th, 2020 - Results & Review The show began with the new Universal Champion Braun Strowman who delivered a babyface promo, but was interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura who challenged him to a match. With that, the main event was set. Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross def. The Kabuki Warriors This was a WrestleMania rematch, as Bliss & Cross won the match, retained the Women's Tag Team Championship and end their feud with The Kabuki Warriors. Now as Bliss & Cross are done with this feud, they are ready for new challengers, as later in the show, in a backstage promo, they were challenged by Carmella & Dana Brooke. I'm glad that the titles, at least for the time being, are featured more often in the shows, as that's probably the reason, the switch was made at Mania. Elias performed a song, celebrating his win over King Corbin and probably announcing, that he'll participate in the Money in the Bank's ladder match. Dolph Ziggler def. Tucker (Heavy Machinery) Before the start of the match, Tucker showed some pictures on the titantron of Otis & Mandy being together, as a part of their WrestleMania storyline. During the match, Tucker was wrestling quite angry, maybe teasing for a future heel turn, but I hope not. Ziggler pinned him after a Super Kick, just as a rebound for his loss at Mania. The Miz & John Morrison hosted "The Dirt Sheet", reviewing some WrestleMania results in their funny way, also noticing that Miz is still not cleared to compete. The segment was interrupted by The Usos and The New Day, as Big E announced that at next Friday's SmackDown, The Miz would defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a Triple Threat Match, against Big E and Jey Uso. The Forgotten Sons def. Lucha House Party It was a NXT debut for The Forgotten Sons, so of course they would win this one. For me, this is one of the best storylines going on SmackDown right now. It has great booking so far, a slow booking that will eventually explode and when that happens, it will be so f***ing AMAZING! I'm talking about the relationship between The Boss Sasha Banks and the SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley. Bayley slowly turns in a person, whose only goal is to stay champion. In attempts to do so, Bayley will use Banks as a scapegoat and throw her into the hands of her enemies, just so she can stay away and be safe. This plot is already going, as Bayley & Sasha's promo was interrupted by Tamina, who challenged Bayley to a match. Bayley, as a standard heel, knows that she won't be able to defeat Tamina on her own, so she threw Sasha into the fire, causing her to face Tamina first. The match was scheduled for next Friday's SmackDown and if Tamina defeats Sasha, she will receive a championship opportunity against Bayley. I just want to congratulate Sasha here for showing an amazing acting skills. They both acted amazing. I just love how Sasha's expression changed from a cocky-confident look to а worrisome and uncertain one, realizing that her friend had just screwed her. I f***ing hope they to this right. Sheamus def. Cal Bloom I love that Sheamus has returned to his old hair style. It was a squash match, just to keep Sheamus look strong. Universal Champion Braun Strowman def. Shinsuke Nakamura Strowman won a hard fought battle against Nakamura, really great ME. The thing that followed the match was way more interesting, as on "Firefly Fun House", Bray challenged Braun for the Universal Championship. It's a common sense that Bray will go after Strowman, because they have a past together and I hope WWE and Bray himself can make this rivalry very intriguing and entertaining. But I'm not that excited, because Strowman had just won the title and I don't see him dropping it so soon. If, IF, Bray is here to lose, just let Bray wrestle and not "The Fiend"! It's great feud to have, but it's way too early to have these two against each other, because at the end, one of them must take the loss.
  18. @Monzanator Every 24/7 Championship "match" is a joke match. It's not a serious deal.
  19. WWE WrestleMania 36 Results Night 2 Kick-Off: Liv Morgan def. Natalya Both Morgan and Natalya had good chemistry and worked a good kick-off match, as Morgan picked-up the win with a roll-up. Charlotte Flair def. NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley (1/1) Amazing chemistry, great athleticism from both women, amazingly worked match! Started slow, picked-up the pace. Charlotte started to work on Ripley's leg. The leg continued to be the main target of the match and after great 15-20 minutes of back and forth, Rhea submitted to the Figure-8. Aleister Black def. Bobby Lashley (2/2) No hype for this match at all, because it didn't have any story. OK performance, I'm just glad it's out of the way. The seeds for Lashley & Lana's break up were planted. Otis def. Dolph Ziggler (3/3) This match got me all invested in. Great long term booking from February, where this feud started, to all the way here. I'm really happy WWE decided to finish this storyline and turn in into a fairy tale. The match was OK, but the thing that mattered was giving the story a happy ending with Mandy Rose on Otis' hands walking into the sunset. Edge def. Randy Orton (4/4) Very enjoyable match. It's good they gave them so much time to work with. It really looked like, these guys hate each other and tried to destroy one another. Brilliant! The match lived to it's hype. These two created really something special and unique. Rob Gronkowski def. 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits def. Austin Theory & Angel Garza (5/5) Match, that I don't have any interest in. What happened after the match was more interesting. Theory, Garza and Zelina Vega attacked and assaulted The Street Profits, but Bianca Belair came for the rescue. SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley def. Lacey Evans, Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina (6/6) Loved the match. Sasha and Bayley worked for the whole match together and were able to eliminate Tamina and Naomi. With some misunderstanding Bayley kicked Sasha in the head. That led to a confrontation between the two, which allowed Evans to eliminated Sasha. Bayley and Evans had some back and forth, but in the end Bayley retained with the help of her friend, Sasha Banks. Great story told in the ring, really interested to see how WWE are going to build the rivalry between Sasha and Bayley. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt def. John Cena (7/7) Just bizarre! I wish it didn't end so fast. From the start to the finish I couldn't move my eyes away from it. All of this throwbacks to the past - Cena's debut against Kurt Angle; Cena doing rap of his doctor of thuganomics gimmick; their match from WrestleMania XXX, etc. Great work from both. Bray Wyatt is something completely unique! Drew McIntyre def. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar (8/8) As expected, very fast match, something like Goldberg - Strowman. A lot of finishers in just 2 minutes. 3 F5s and 4 Claymore Kick were enough to crown a new WWE Champion and that is Drew McIntyre. I think the match was hurt of not being held in front of a live crowd, because it would certainly be longer in duration and the crowd would go nuts after the victory of Drew, plus the fireworks. Still congratulations! That's it for this year's WrestleMania. For what is was, it has been pretty entertaining. I really appreciate that despite the situation, WWE decided to please us with this two-day spectacle. I really hope that things will get better soon and that the halls will be filled again with fans that these wrestlers deserve. As for my prediction: in night 1 I got 5 out of 8 matches and as for night 2, I got all 8 of them correctly. So overall from 16 matches, I got 13, which is pretty outstanding. See you again next time, when WWE is on PPV, whenever that is. Night 1: 5/8 Night 2: 8/8 Overall: 13/16
  20. @bmo Why someone would still be wrestling in this age. Probably for the love of he business or he's doing it for the money? Well it's for the money, money. He is an Attitude Era big attraction, a big name from the past, which people will pay to see and he's a ratings booster as well. In Vince's world if someone is a moneymaker like Goldberg is, he'd rather use him than a new superstar, who is not properly built. Simply put, Goldberg is money and Vince loves money. About AEW, I'm really just watching WWE, I'm not watching any other wrestling promotion.
  21. WWE WrestleMania 36 Results Night 1 Kick-Off: Cesaro def. Drew Gulak Very decent match with an interesting finish. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross def. Women's Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (1/1) A great oppening match. It was funny to watch, but had a little sloppy ending. Still we have new champions. Elias def. King Corbin (1/2) A roll-up with grabbed tights. Very stupid finish... RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch def. Shayna Baszler (1/3) What the f**k...? And really, without crowd it's really weird. Still a match can't hype me up. Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn def. Daniel Bryan (2/4) The first match with a great storytelling and in-ring action, which actually got me invested. Zayn running away from Bryan, Gulak fighting on the outside with Cesaro and Nakamura. Bryan had the control for almost the whole match, as this way they're telling us that without the help of Cesaro and Nakamura, Bryan could easily defeat Zayn, which I hope will result in some storyline onwards. The end was very well executed. Nakamura and Cesaro on the outside attacked Gulak, Bryan went for a suicide dive and then climbed to the top rope, just to be welcomed by a Helluva Kick. Very well crafted match, which really showed that if you're good wrestler, you don't necessarily need a crowd. SmackDown Tag Team Champion John Morrison def. Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston (3/5) Even better that the previous match, even better than I expected it to be. Just the guys knew what they're supposed to do. Amazing match, they did lots of great spots and the end of the match was really awesome as well. Jimmy, Kofi and Morrison were all on three different ladders and unhooked the titles, but they all hold them. Jimmy and Kofi head bummed Morrison and he fell, but with the titles in his position, thus winning the match. Kevin Owens def. Seth Rollins (4/6) I can surely say, best match of the night. Great back-and-forth, amazing sequences and amazing counters. These two just tore the house down. Initially the match was won by Kevin Owens by DQ, after Rollins hit him with the ring bell. The match was restarted as a No Disqualification and no count-outs. Both continued a little longer, as in the end Owens put Rollins on top of the commentary table on jump on top of him from the WrestleMania sign. Then he returned him on the ring and executed a stunner for the win. Mojo Rawley def. 24/7 Champion R-Truth Braun Strowman def. Universal Champion Goldberg (4/7) Meh... 4 spears and 4 power slams and the think that annoys me the most is that Goldberg defeated Wyatt, but he just lost to Braun. Probably Goldberg's contract expires after Mania and he didn't want to resign, so yeah Strowman is the new Universal Champion. The Undertaker def. AJ Styles (5/8) Great theatrical movie in that boneyard match. Great spots here as well. Loved that Taker used some supernatural powers, like teleporting, making fire out of nowhere, also throwing Luke Gallows from the top of the barn and throwing Styles with a chokeslam from the top of the barn as well. I imagined Taker putting Styles in the grave with a Last Ride, but either way it was fun. So that's it from night 1. The show started really sloppy, but it improved by every next match. The matches that I loved, that really kept me glued to the screen were Zayn-Bryan, the triple threat ladder match, Owens-Rollins and Taker-Styles. The one I think was the worst from night 1 was for the Universal Championship. I predicted correctly 5 of the 8 matches, not the best result, but it could be worse. Tune in back tomorrow, as we'll follow the second night of WrestleMania!
  22. So here are the matches that will take place tonight: Women's Tag Team Championship Elias vs. King Corbin SmackDown Tag Team Championship Intercontinental Championship Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles RAW Women's Championship Universal Championship And these will take place tomorrow: John Cena vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt Edge vs. Randy Orton Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley SmackDown Women's Championship NXT Women's Championship RAW Tag Team Championship WWE Championship
  23. It's time for an adventure. An adventure, on the Grandest Stage of Them All. A night, where heroes are created and legends will be born. Welcome to the show, that is too big for just one night, welcome to the showcase of the immortals. Welcome to WrestleMania! It's time for our prediction of the WrestleMania card. Sixteen matches are announced, as they will take place on the 4th and 5th of April. For the first time ever, WrestleMania is taped, because of the state of emergency, generated by the coronavirus. I've kept myself out of spoilers, so now I'll give you my genuine predictions for the event. WWE WrestleMania 36 Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley Singles Match That match came out of the blue, without even a storyline was used for it's build, just these wrestlers put in a one-on-one match. So as we don't have any storyline to work with, I think it's all about, who will benefit more by winning. Bobby Lashley has won a lot championship and had a really great career thus far, so winning will not be beneficial for him in any way. On the other hand we have a wrestler, who was soon called up from NXT and his path must be in an upwards direction. I don't know if Lashley will be there, because he is in quarantine, but nonetheless Lashley or other superstar, Aleister Black will kick their heads off. Prediction: Aleister Black RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. Austin Theory & Angel Garza Tag Team Match for the RAW Tag Team Championship Originally, The Street Profits were scheduled to face Andrade & Angel Garza, but after Andrade got injured, he was replaced by NXT's Austin Theory. Both Theory and Garza are just still young and trustless to put the titles on them and carry such responsibility, so I'm very confident about that. Prediction: The Street Profits retain the RAW Tag Team Championship Women's Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Tag Team Match for the Women's Tag Team Championship The Kabuki Warrior are now champions for 178 days, but the titles were barely defended or promoted on the shows and I think they deserve better, so I think it's time for a change. Predictions: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross become the new Women's Tag Team Champions Elias vs. King Corbin Singles Match I'm speechless for this one, because this match came out of the blue as well, only that Corbin tried to murder Elias on an episode of SmackDown. Corbin is out of a horrible feud with Reigns, which he lost, so a win here can be very useful, to bring him back some credibility, but also there might be interference on Elias's side by Mojo Rawley and WrestleMania's host Rob Gronkowski. It's really 50/50 for me, so I hope I can guess it right. Prediction: King Corbin wins SmackDown Tag Team Champion John Morrison vs. Jimmy Uso vs. Kofi Kingston Triple Threat Ladder Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Because of the coronavirus outbreak, John Morrison will have the hard task of defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship all by himself. All three of the wrestlers that will participate in the match are very athletic and will make a great show. Again all of them can leave with the titles, but I'm going for a retention. Prediction: John Morrison wins the ladder match to keep the tag titles Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Daniel Bryan Singles Match for the Intercontinental Championship Zayn has just won the title last month at the Elimination Chamber, so I think it's too soon to drop it. His feud with Bryan could continue, as both of them are very gifted wrestlers and I'm sure they can deliver amazing matches for the next couple of months. Prediction: Sami Zayn retains SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley vs. Lacey Evans vs. Naomi vs. Sasha Banks vs. Tamina Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship I'm really intrigued of the relationship between Sasha and Bayley, because I think they deserve a great storyline between them that will culminate in a match probably later in the year at SummerSlam. They might try to tease a miscommunication, but it won't result into Sasha turning face. Actually any women, besides Tamina can walk out with the title, but I'm putting my bet on Bayley. Prediction: Bayley retains Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler Singles Match The feud between the two is basically a story of a good looking boy, who always takes the pretty girl and a boy with a low self esteem, who never gets the girl of his dreams. It's time that to be repaired. I also predict that there will interference from Sonya Deville, who will try to help Ziggler, but with the help of Mandy, Otis will pick-up the win and the girl at the end. Prediction: Otis Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins Singles Match Rollins issued the challenge, but Owens named it to happen at WrestleMania. Rollins told Owens that he chose poorly, because he have a positive record at Manias and at the grandest stage of them all, he turns into a god, while Owens can't beat him even when he's not at his best. Also the story involves around Owens, never receiving his WrestleMania moment, so I think he'll overcome Rollins' toughness and get his big moment. As for Rollins, after Mania I think he'll be starting a feud over the WWE Championship and maybe will defeat Owens in a WrestleMania rematch to become the number 1 contender, so for now. Prediction: Kevin Owens defeats Rollins Edge vs. Randy Orton Last Man Standing Match This is probably one of the easier matches to predict on the card. Edge just returned from 9 years of retirement and started feuding with Orton, as the feud turned personal pretty quickly. Orton vowed to end this fairy tale for Edge and put him back into retirement, but as we know Edge has signed a multiyear contract with WWE, so this ain't happening. Prediction: Edge The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles Boneyard Match As the rivalry was turned personal by Styles, Undertaker will have to defend his and his wife's proud. Styles can very easy recover from a defeat, so while Taker plays in his backyard, he will have the advantage. Prediction: The Undertaker John Cena vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt Firefly Fun House Match After "The Fiend" lost to Goldberg back at SuperShowdown, he lost a lot of his credibility. Also, prior of his challenge to Cena, Cena said that a WrestleMania spot should be earned and not granted to a part-timers. As this is advertised as a WrestleMania XXX rematch, I really think that Cena must take a step back and give the rub to a full-timer, who will benefit from it. A win for Cena won't accomplish anything, but a loss for Wyatt will result in a burial of his character. This is not a prediction, but a result I'd like to see. Prediction: "The Fiend" beats Cena RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler Singles Match for the RAW Women's Championship Shayna has been build fiercely - 1st by beating Becky and Bayley at Survivor Series, 2nd by finishing as a runner-up at the Royal Rumble match, and most of all by eliminating all of her opponents at the Elimination Chamber match. If she loses now, all of this push will be thrown away into a garbage can, therefore this should not be allowed. Prediction: Shayna Baszler defeats Becky to capture the RAW Women's Championship NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair Singles Match for the NXT Women's Championship This will be the first time ever that a NXT Championship is defended at WrestleMania. Rhea does have a win over Charlotte, so I don't think they'll go 2-0 for Rhea. I think she'll drop the title now and will go to the main roster, as for Charlotte, she will use the title to boost up the NXT ratings and have some good feuds with the women of NXT, eventually dropping the title to one of them. Prediction: Charlotte wins the NXT Women's Championship Universal Champion Goldberg vs. Braun Strowman Singles Match for the Universal Championship Initially, Roman Reigns was scheduled to face Goldberg, but after he requested to be removed from the match, because of the coronavirus outbreak, WWE had him replaced with Strowman. I think Reigns was going to defeat Goldberg and win the Universal Championship, but now I don't see Strowman walking out as champion. I think Goldberg will retain and as WWE will take a break after Mania, Goldberg won't be required to defend the title. He will hold it, until WWE can do again live crowd shows and then do the Spear vs. Spear match - Goldberg vs. Reigns. Prediction: Goldberg retains the Universal Championship WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre Singles Match for the WWE Championship The storyline for this match is that in the past everyone saw that McIntyre had potential, but not being able to materialize it, really affected his passion, which let to low self esteem, because so far he hasn't won any World Championships in WWE. Will McIntyre finally fulfill his potential by defeating The Beast and becoming the new WWE Champion, or he'll fall short, becoming The Beast's next victim. This match must really go in McIntyre's favor, unless WWE decides to postpone his coronation and do it in front of a live crowd, but I'm not going to risk that much. Prediction: Drew McIntyre fulfills his potential, beats Lesnar and becomes the new WWE Champion Well, that's my prediction for the showcase of the immortals. Let's enjoy this WrestleMania, as we hope we never get to see another empty arena one!
  24. John Cena is one of the biggest wrestler, who had a major role in modeling the WWE product through the years. He had the best rivalries with one of the most significant wrestlers in the business, including Edge, Randy Orton and many more. Cena has been 16 times World Champion of which, 13 times WWE Champion and 3 times World Heavyweight Champion. Here we'll take a look, how he have won this championships and the rivalries he's been in for them. John Cena's Way to Sweet 16 Titles Feud with John "Bradshaw" Layfield and 1st World Title John Cena's climb for his first World Title began at WWE No Way Out (2005), where he defeated Kurt Angle in the finals of a tournament to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship, as previously in the tournament Cena have defeated Orlando Jordan and Booker T. As the #1 contender, Cena began a feud with the champion - JBL. At the moment Cena was the United States Champion and at the March 3rd episode of SmackDown, he lost the title to Orlando Jordan, after JBL hit Cena with the WWE Title belt. In search for redemption, Cena brought a steel lead pipe to the ring with him and ordered JBL to come out to the ring and fight him, but SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long announced that if Cena laid a hand on JBL, he would lose his WrestleMania match. JBL tried to provoke Cena to attack him, but Cena kept his cool. Later Theodore Long clarified that if JBL physically provoked Cena, then Cena could retaliate. Cena then attempted to provoke JBL, by vandalizing his limousine, and spray painting "FU" on JBL's shirt. On the last SmackDown before Mania, JBL interrupted Cena's match and had him arrested for vandalism and, once Cena was handcuffed, JBL nailed him with a low blow and ended the show by leaving Cena laying defenseless. All the heat between the two erupted at WrestleMania 21, where John Cena defeated John "Bradshaw" Layfield with the FU to capture his first WWE Championship. After WrestleMania, John Cena introduced the new "spinner" design of the WWE Championship, which was used for almost 8 years. At WWE Judgment Day (2005), Cena defeated JBL in an "I Quit Match" to retain the WWE Championship, afterwards Cena was drafter to RAW, therefore ending his feud with JBL. 2nd and 3rd reign as WWE Champion, feuding with The Rated-R Superstar Edge Cena was still in his first reign as WWE Champion and had to defend the title in an Elimination Chamber Match at the WWE New Year's Revolution (2006). Although, Cena began the match, he was able to retain his championship, eliminating Carlito last. While Cena was bleeding and attempting to recover, Edge cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract and after two Spears, he pinned Cena to win the WWE Championship, thereby starting their feud. The next night on RAW, Edge held a live sex celebration which got smashed up by Cena and Cena delivered an FU on Lita. At WWE Royal Rumble (2006), Cena regained the WWE Championship, making Edge submit to the STFU, thus beginning his second reign as champion. Cena and Edge's paths met again at the WWE Backlash (2006), where Cena defeated both Edge and Triple H in a Triple Threat Match to retain the WWE Championship. On May 22nd episode of RAW, Cena defeated Chris Masters in a singles match and after the match Rob Van Dam came to the ring and announced that he would cash-in his Money in the Bank contract, which he won at WrestleMania 22, on the next PPV. At ECW One Night Stand (2006), John Cena lost his WWE Championship to RVD in an Extreme Rules Match, after Edge interfered and speared Cena. Cena began a mini-feud with the ECW brand, as he went on the TV debut of ECW, attacking Edge, who cost Cena the WWE Championship at ECW's One Night Stand. On the next episode of RAW, Cena defeated ECW's Balls Mahoney, but after the match was attacked and assaulted by Sabu, an ECW superstar as well. On the next episode of ECW, Cena challenged Sabu to an Extreme Rules lumberjack match. At WWE Vengeance (2006), Cena defeated Sabu, winning the mini-feud, also in the PPV, RVD defeated Edge to retain the WWE Championship. On June 26th, episode of RAW, Cena faced RVD in a singles match for the WWE title, but the match ended in a no contest, after interference from Edge. On the next episode of RAW, Edge defeated Rob Van Dam and John Cena in a Triple Threat Match to win the WWE Championship. Cena continued his feud with Edge over the WWE title, as they faced off at "Saturday Night's Main Event XXXIII", where Cena defeated Edge by DQ, after Lita slapped the referee. A match was made for SummerSlam with the stipulation if Edge gets himself counted-out or disqualified, he'd lose the title. Edge made the rivalry personal, as he went to Cena's father's house and slapped him. At WWE SummerSlam (2006), Edge defeated Cena, after hitting the back of his head with brass knuckles. On the August 28th episode of RAW, Cena challenged Edge for the WWE Championship with the stipulation being that if Cena lost, he would not challenge for the title again and would leave RAW to go back to SmackDown. Edge accepted the challenge, stating that the match would take place in his hometown and it would be a match that Edge had never lost: a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. At WWE Unforgiven (2006), Cena defeated Edge to claim his 3rd WWE Championship. Edge invoked his rematch clause and on October 3rd episode of RAW, Cena defeated Edge in a Steel Cage Match to retain the title and end his feud with Edge for the time being. Cena held the title for more than a year, but was forced to relinquish it after he suffered a torn right pectoral tendon. Cena's 1st World Heavyweight Championship (4th World Title), reigniting his feud with Edge (5th World Title) Both main titles had switched brands following the 2008 WWE Draft - the WWE Championship moved to SmackDown and the World Heavyweight Championship moved to RAW. On the November 3rd, 2008 episode of RAW, Shane McMahon announced that the returning John Cena, from a herniated disk injury, would challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series. At WWE Survivor Series (2008), Cena defeated Jericho to win his first World Heavyweight Championship. The feud between John Cena and Chris Jericho continued on into WWE Armageddon (2008), where Cena defeated Jericho to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. At WWE No Way Out (2009), Cena had to defend the World Heavyweight Championship in an Elimination Chamber Match, where Edge prior to the match attacked Kofi Kingston and took his spot in the chamber, as earlier in the night Edge lost his WWE Championship in the first EC match. Cena was eliminated early by Edge, as he won the chamber match and became the new World Heavyweight Champion, reigniting his feud with Cena. Originally the plans for Mania were for Big Show to challenge Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, but Cena extorted a video footage from the SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero in which she was having adulterous relations with The Big Show, for which Vickie added Cena to the match. At WrestleMania XXV (2009), Cena defeated Edge and Big Show in a Triple Threat Match to regain the World Heavyweight Championship. Cena and Edge continued their rivalry over the World Heavyweight Championship, as they faced off in a Last Man Standing Match at WWE Backlash (2009), where after interference from Big Show, Cena wasn't able to answer the 10 count and lost the title, this time Edge winning the feud. Feuding with The Viper Randy Orton over the WWE Championship (6th and 7th World Titles) Cena's road for a 6th World title began with a single-elimination tournament, where in the semifinals Cena defeated The Miz and in the other semifinal Triple H defeated MVP. The final of the tournament took place on the next episode of RAW, where Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase interfered in the match and attacked both Cena and Triple H. As a result of the attack it was announced that Orton will defend his WWE Championship against Triple H and Cena in a Triple Threat Match. At WWE Night of Champions (2009), after interference from Rhodes & DiBiase, Orton pinned Cena to retain his championship. On the July 27th episode of RAW, Cena competed in a Beat the Clock Challenge, as the winner would receive a championship opportunity against Orton at SummerSlam. The other participant were Mark Henry, MVP, Triple H and Jack Swagger. Cena defeated The Miz for less than 6:49, thus beating Henry's time, and earn himself a championship match. At WWE SummerSlam (2009), Orton tried to cheat in all kinds of ways - first he got himself disqualified by shoving the referee, but the match was restarted as a "No Disqualifications". Then Orton got himself counted-out, but the match was restarted again as a "No DQ and No Count-Outs". Orton pinned Cena, while using the ropes as leverage, but the referee reviewed the finish and restarted the match. Cena had Orton locked in the STF and Orton was ready to submit, but a person from the crowd (later revealed as Bret DiBiase, Ted DiBiase's brother) attacked the referee. After the person was removed from the ring, Orton executed an RKO and pinned Cena to retain the title. As a result of Orton's actions in the match, WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon awarded Cena a rematch, an "I Quit Match in which had anyone interfered on Orton’s behalf, Orton would immediately lose the title, for the next PPV. At WWE Breaking Point (2009), Cena defeated Orton and captured his 4th WWE Championship (6th World Title). The feud continued at WWE Hell in a Cell (2009) in a Hell in a Cell match, where after a Punt Kick, Orton pinned Cena to regain the title. Their rivalry got it's conclusion in a "60-Minutes Anything Goes Iron Man Match" at WWE Bragging Rights (2009), where Cena defeated Orton with a 6 to 5 decisions, winning his 7th World Title. In the midst of December, Cena dropped the WWE Championship to Sheamus in a Tables match at the WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2009). The battle of the "Future". John Cena vs. Batista (8th and 9th World Titles) Prior of Elimination Chamber, John Cena competed in a qualifying match for the eponymous match, where he defeated Cody Rhodes. At WWE Elimination Chamber (2010), Cena won the Elimination Chamber match by eliminating Triple H last, to capture his 8th World Title. Immediately after the match the WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, forced Cena to defend the newly won WWE Championship against Batista. After a Spear and one Batista Bomb, Batista pinned Cena to win the championship. On the February 22nd episode of RAW, Cena asked for a rematch for the title at WrestleMania, which McMahon gave him the opportunity to as long as he defeated Batista that night. Later that night, Batista intentionally got himself disqualified by kicking Cena in the groin to set up their match. At WrestleMania XXVI, Cena tapped out Batista to regain the WWE Championship (9th World Title). The feud continued for two more PPVs, at Extreme Rules (2010), Cena defeated Batista in a Last Man Standing Match, by tying Batista's feet to the ring post with duct tape. At Over the Limit (2010), Cena defeated Batista in an "I Quit Match" to end the feud. Feud with the A-Lister The Miz (10th World Title) The road for WrestleMania XXVII for Cena began at WWE Royal Rumble (2011), where Cena participated in the Royal Rumble match, but was eliminated by the WWE Champion The Miz, who didn't participate in it, thus staring the feud. At January 31st episode of RAW, Cena participated in a rumble match, as the winner would face the WWE Champion at Elimination Chamber and the losers would compete in an Elimination Chamber match to determine who will face the WWE Champion at Mania. Jerry "The King" Lawler won the rumble match, so Cena qualified for the chamber match alongside CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus, John Morrison & R-Truth. At WWE Elimination Chamber (2011), John Cena won the chamber match and earned himself a match against The Miz for the WWE Championship. At WrestleMania XXVII, Cena failed to win the WWE Championship, after The Rock executed the Rock Bottom on Cena and The Miz managed to score the pinfall. Miz & Cena continued their rivalry, as they faced-off in Triple Threat Steel Cage Match (w/ John Morrison) at WWE Extreme Rules (2011). At the PPV, Cena pinned The Miz after executing AA from the top turnbuckle, winning his 10th World Title. At WWE Over the Limit (2011), Cena defeated The Miz in an "I Quit Match" to retain the WWE Championship, ending the feud. The Champ vs. The Best in the World - John Cena vs. CM Punk a.k.a The Summer of Punk (11th and 12th World Titles) The feud between John Cena and CM Punk is, in my opinion, the best feud of the decade, even better than Cena-Edge and it all began on June 13th episode of RAW, in which Punk defeated Cena in a non-title match. Afterwards, Punk became the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship by winning a Triple Treat Falls Count Anywhere match against Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. After the match, Punk revealed that his WWE contract would expire at midnight on July 17th, immediately after the Money in the Bank PPV ended and vowed to win the championship and leave the company with it. On the next episode of RAW, Punk cost Cena a tables match against R-Truth and delivered his infamous pipebomb for which Punk was suspended and stripped of his championship match against Cena. Cena confronted McMahon and threatened to walk out on him and return the WWE Championship if Punk were not reinstated. McMahon relented on the condition that if Cena lost the title, he would be fired. At WWE Money in the Bank (2011), Punk defeated Cena, captured the WWE Championship and left the arena through the crowd. As Punk left with the WWE Championship, the RAW brand was left without it's major title, so McMahon announced an 8-man tournament to decide the new WWE Champion. On July 25th episode of RAW, Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz in the tournament finals to become the new WWE Champion. Later that night, Mysterio defended the WWE Championship against Cena, as Cena picked up the win, capturing his 11th World Title. After the match, Punk returned to WWE with the title belt he had won at Money in the Bank. As both Punk and Cena had possession of two different WWE title belts, a match was scheduled to determine the Undisputed WWE Champion. At WWE SummerSlam (2011), Punk defeated Cena, despite Cena's foot being on the bottom rope, to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. While celebrating his win, a returning Kevin Nash attacked Punk with a Jackknife Powerbomb, afterwards Alberto Del Rio cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Punk to win the title. On the August 22nd episode of RAW, Punk and Cena faced against each other to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. After some interference from Kevin Nash, Cena was able to pin Punk. At WWE Night of Champions (2011), Cena defeated Del Rio to regain the WWE Championship and win his 12th World Title. In the main event after interference from Nash, Triple H defeated CM Punk. On the September 18th episode of RAW, Triple H announced that Alberto Del Rio will receive his rematch against WWE Champion John Cena, so will CM Punk in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match. At WWE Hell in a Cell (2011), during the match Del Rio locked Cena out of the cell, hit CM Punk with a lead pipe and pinned him to win the WWE title. Cena invoked his rematch clause and challenged Del Rio to a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship. At WWE Vengeance (2011), Cena failed to win the title back, after he was attacked by The Miz & R-Truth and hit with the WWE title belt from Del Rio. At WWE Survivor Series (2011), CM Punk defeated Del Rio to win the WWE Championship and begin his 434 days long reign. At WWE Money in the Bank (2012), Cena won the RAW's Money in the Bank match, which insured him a match for the WWE Championship whenever he wants. Cena cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on CM Punk on the 1000th episode of RAW, but failed to win the title, as Big Show attacked him, which resulted in disqualification. On the following week Cena and Show fought in a number one contender's match for a shot at the WWE title, but the match ended in a no contest after interference from Punk. The new Raw General Manager AJ Lee announced that Punk will defend the title against both Cena and Show in a Triple Threat Match. At WWE SummerSlam (2012), Punk trapped Show's head in a Koji clutch while Cena put Show in the STF, which caused Show to submit. Because of the confusion over who won the match, AJ Lee came to the ring and restarted the match. Cena was able to execute the AA on Show. Punk however, then tossed Cena out of the ring and pinned Show to get the win and keep the title. Cena and Punk continued to feud over the WWE Championship, as at WWE Night of Champions (2012) they created again a masterpiece. Initially Cena pinned Punk and started celebrating, but after a few seconds the referee declared the match for a draw, as both men's shoulders were on the mat for the 3 count, thus Punk retaining the WWE Championship. Cena received one more chance of regaining the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Punk and Ryback at WWE Survivor Series (2012). At the event, after interference from The Shield, Punk pinned Cena to retain the title. The conclusion of this year long rivalry took place on the February 25th 2013 episode of RAW, where Cena put on the line his spot in the main even of WrestleMania. John Cena won the match after executing hurricanrana followed by an AA to pin CM Punk, ending the rivalry once and for all. "Greatness vs. Redemption" - The Rock vs. John Cena (13th World Title) It all started back on the February 14th 2011 episode of RAW, where The Rock was revealed as the host of WrestleMania XXVII. Upon his return to WWE, The Rock began a feud with John Cena which continued for weeks in terms of verbal insults, until the March 28th episode of RAW, where Cena delivered the AA to The Rock after he fended off attacks from The Miz and Alex Riley. At WrestleMania XXVII, The Rock got involved in the main event WWE Championship match between The Miz and John Cena, which initially ended in a double count-out. After the match was restarted under no disqualifications, no count-outs rules, The Rock delivered a Rock Bottom to Cena, thus enabling the Miz to win and retain the title. Cena & Rock's first match was promoted throughout all of 2011. At WWE Survivor Series (2011), Cena & The Rock teamed up to defeat The Miz & R-Truth in a tag team match, but after the match The Rock executed Rock Bottom on Cena. At WrestleMania XXVIII, The Rock defeated John Cena. Cena's 2012 was his worst year in WWE as Cena blamed Rock for sending his life into a downward spiral, citing events such as being attacked by Brock Lesnar on the post-WrestleMania RAW, Big Show turning heel on him, being embarrassed by John Laurinaitis at Over the Limit, failing to cash in his Money in the Bank, losing to CM Punk multiple times and losing to Dolph Ziggler at TLC, even getting divorced with his wife. But finally after all this downs, at WWE Royal Rumble (2013), Cena won the eponymous match, earning himself a spot in the main event of WrestleMania and rather a shot at redemption. At WrestleMania 29, John Cena defeated WWE Champion The Rock, winning his 11th WWE Championship (13th World Title). Reigniting his feud with Alberto Del Rio (14th World Title) After losing his WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan at WWE SummerSlam (2013), Cena went on hiatus to repair an injured elbow. On the October 3rd episode of RAW, Del Rio tried to coerce SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero to formally announce him as the "face of the WWE", but for Del Rio's expense, Vickie announced that he will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against a returning John Cena at the upcoming PPV. At WWE Hell in a Cell (2013), Cena defeated Del Rio, winning his 3rd World Heavyweight Championship and 14th World Title overall. At WWE Survivor Series (2013), Cena defeated Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship and end the feud. WWE World Heavyweight Champion (15th World Title) After Daniel Bryan was forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to an injure, a Money in the Bank Ladder match was scheduled for the vacated title, as Cena defeated Kane in a Stretcher match, on the June 16th 2014 episode of RAW, to qualify. The participants were Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Kane, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Sheamus and John Cena. At WWE Money in the Bank (2014), Cena won the ladder match, becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion (15th World Title). Feud with AJ Styles and Record-tying 16th World Title John Cena returned on the May 30th 2016 episode of RAW, after recovering from a shoulder injury. Initially, Styles went to the ring to welcome Cena back, but it was scam, as Styles & The Club attacked and assaulted Cena. On the following episode of SmackDown, on June 3rd, a match was scheduled between Cena and Styles for the upcoming PPV. At WWE Money in the Bank (2016), AJ Styles defeated Cena, but not without the help of The Club, which interfered while the referee was knocked-out, delivered Magic Killer on Cena and placed Styles on top of him. The feud between Cena and Styles continued, as in the following weeks both of them interfered in each other's matches, costing themselfs a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. On the July 4th episode of RAW, The Club again attacked Cena until Enzo Amore & Big Cass saved Cena. Later that night, a 6-Man Tag Team Match was made between the two teams. At WWE Battleground (2016), the team of John Cena, Enzo Amore & Big Cass defeated AJ Styles & The Club. On the July 19th was held the 2016 WWE Draft, where Enzo Amore, Big Cass & The Club were drafter to RAW, while John Cena and AJ Styles were drafted to SmackDown, splitting up the two teams. On the August 2nd episode of SmackDown, Styles challenged Cena to another match, which Cena accepted. At WWE SummerSlam (2016), Styles pinned Cena clean. AJ Styles went on to win the WWE World Championship. On the September 13th episode of SmackDown, Cena demanded a match against Styles in an attempt to become a 16-time world champion, while Ambrose invoked his rematch clause. At WWE No Mercy (2016), Styles pinned Cena to retain the WWE World Championship. On the December 27th episode of SmackDown, Styles retained the WWE Championship by defeating Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat Match. That episode, John Cena returned from a near three-month hiatus and challenged the winner of the match, so a match between Styles and Cena was scheduled. At WWE Royal Rumble (2017), Cena defeated Styles, to tie Ric Flair for the most recognized world title reigns at 16, thus ending the feud. Well this is it, all of Cena's rivalries connected to title wins. Will he ever beat Ric Flair's record and win a 17th World Title? We'll wait and see.
  25. "Evolution" "Evolution" was the best stable in the Attitude Era. It was the best attraction back then, formed in 2002. The group dominated WWE for 3 years, winning countless championships, but inevitably disbanded in 2005. The idea of the group was to successfully build a future stars, which they did outstandingly. The members of the group were Ric Flair (the past), Triple H (the present), Batista & Randy Orton (the future). Their best punch-line was: "So if you wake up one day and you're lying in a hospital bed and you're all beat up and you're wondering to yourself - What in the hell happened? - then there's just one answer. EVOLUTION HAS JUST PASSED YOU BY!" It all started on September 2002 episode of RAW, in which Triple H (the current World Heavyweight Champion) insulted Ric Flair in the backstage for being pathetic as in return, Flair shouted back. At WWE Unforgiven (2002), Triple H had to defend the WHC against Rob Van Dam. Ric Flair interfered in the match, helping Triple H to retain the title, thus joining the stable. From that point on, Ric Flair accompanied Triple H to the ring as his manager. Soon after, Batista was drafted from SmackDown to RAW and impressed Flair with his in-ring debut for the RAW brand. Triple H was set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Kane at "No Mercy", so on November 18, episode of RAW, Ric Flair insulted Kane and as Kane was going after Flair, Batista attacked him from behind. Batista vs. Kane was set for next week's RAW, where Ric Flair hit Kane with a steel chair in the skull, helping Batista to deliver the Batista Bomb and win the match. From that point on, Flair accompanied both Triple H and Batista as their manager. At WWE No Mercy (2002), Ric Flair had a match against Rob Van Dam, for costing him the match at Unforgiven, which RVD won. Later that night, Triple H (World Heavyweight Champion) faced Kane (Intercontinental Champion) in a "Winner Takes All Match". Flair again came to the rescue, while the referee was knocked-out cold, allowing Triple H to recover and win the match, thus the Intercontinental Championship was deactivated for the time being. At WWE Survivor Series (2002), Triple H dropped the WHC to Shawn Michaels in the first ever Elimination Chamber Match, also including Booker T, Chris Jericho, Kane & RVD. Batista continued his rivalry with Kane and at WWE Armageddon (2002), after interference from Ric Flair, Batista was able to pick-up the win. Later, Shawn Michaels defended the newly won World Heavyweight Championship against Triple H in a "Three Stages of Hell Match", as the first fall was "Street Fight", the second - "Steel Cage" and the third - "Ladder Match". Triple H regained the WHC after beating Michaels 2-1, winning the first and third fall. Triple H began a feud with Scott Steiner, as they faced off at WWE Royal Rumble (2003) in a match for the WHC, which Steiner won by DQ, after Triple H brought a sledgehammer into the match, as a result Triple H retained. After the match Steiner assaulted him. On an episode of RAW in a backstage segment, Randy Orton made fun of Steiner for not being able to win the WHC at the Royal Rumble, as in return Steiner threatened Orton. Later in the show, Batista had a match with Scott Steiner, which Steiner won by DQ, after an ambush from Orton. Then the four (Ric Flair, Triple H, Batista & Randy Orton) ganged up on Steiner, beating him up. On the following episode of RAW, "The Four" attacked Steiner and assaulted him again. On February 3rd episode of RAW, after attacking Tommy Dreamer, Triple H finally introduced his stable as "EVOLUTION". At WWE No Way Out (2003), Triple H defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Scott Steiner. After Evolution (Ric Flair, Batista & Randy Orton) interfered, Steiner attacked them and caused the referee to eject them. Triple H hit Steiner with the title belt and executed a Pedigree to retain the title and end the feud. In early March, both Batista & Randy Orton suffered injuries. At WrestleMania XIX, Triple H defeated Booker T to retain the WHC. Triple H started a feud with Kevin Nash, as at WWE Backlash (2003), Triple H, Ric Flair & Chris Jericho defeated Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels & Booker T in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. Their feud continued into a match at WWE Judgment Day (2003) in which Triple H disqualified himself after hitting the referee with a sledgehammer. After the match Nash assaulted Triple H. On the following episode of RAW, Triple H was forced to defend the WHC against an opponent of his choosing. Triple H chose Ric Flair and later defeated him to retain the title. It looked like this was the end for Evolution, as on the next episode of RAW, Triple H faced Shawn Michaels & Ric Flair in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, but in the end Flair punched Michaels and after a Pedigree, Triple H won. After the match Kevin Nash ran out to the ring, but was attacked by Triple H, Flair and a masked man, later revealed to be the returning Randy Orton. At WWE Insurrextion (2003), Triple H retained the title by defeating Kevin Nash in a Street Fight. At WWE Bad Blood (2003), Ric Flair defeated Shawn Michaels, after interference from Orton and later Triple H defeated Kevin Nash in a Hell in a Cell Match, ending the feud. Triple H started feuding with Goldberg as at WWE SummerSlam (2003), Triple H successfully retained the World Heavyweight Championship in an Elimination Chamber Match by last eliminating Goldberg. On RAW, Goldberg issued another challenge at Triple H for the title and later the match was announced as a "Title vs. Career" for Unforgiven. At WWE Unforgiven (2003), Randy Orton faced Shawn Michaels. Michaels initially won the match, but during the pin, Flair put Orton's leg on the bottom rope, making the referee change his decision. Orton hit Michaels with a brass knuckles winning the match and proving he is indeed the Legend Killer. Unfortunately in the main event, Goldberg defeated Triple H to become the New World Heavyweight Champion. On the September 29th episode of RAW, Triple H issued a $100,000 bounty to anybody who could take out Goldberg. Lots of superstars tried to take out Goldberg, but failed. On the October 20th episode of RAW, Batista returned from injury and interfered in the Goldberg vs. Shawn Michaels match, assaulting them both, thus igniting a feud with Shawn Michaels and winning the $100,000 from Triple H. At WWE Survivor Series (2003), Goldberg defeated Triple H, despite interference from Evolution, to retain the WHC. The peak of "Evolution" happened, at WWE Armageddon (2003), where entering the show, non of the members had titles, but at the end of it, all of them were champions. Randy Orton defeated Rob Van Dam with the help of Ric Flair to win the Intercontinental Championship. Despite Batista losing to Shawn Michaels early in the night, both Batista & Ric Flair were added to the Tag Team Turmoil Match, defeated The Dudley Boyz and became the New World Tag Team Champions. In the main event, with the help of "Evolution", Triple H defeated Goldberg & Kane in a Triple Threat Match to win the World Heavyweight Championship. At WWE Royal Rumble (2004), Batista & Ric Flair successfully retained the World Tag Team Championships defeating The Dudley Boyz. Triple H fought to a draw with Shawn Michaels in a Last Man Standing Match, thus retaining the WHC. On February 16th episode of RAW, Batista & Ric Flair dropped the Tag Titles to Booker T & Rob Van Dam. At WrestleMania XX, Evolution (Ric Flair, Batista & Randy Orton) def. The Rock & Mick Foley in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match. In the main event Triple H lost the WHC to Chris Benoit in a Triple Threat Match with Shawn Michaels in it. Ric & Batista regained the World Tag Team Championships by defeating Booker T & RVD on March 22nd episode of RAW, just to drop them to Chris Benoit & Edge on the October 19th episode of RAW. Triple H tried to regain the WHC at WWE Backlash (2004) in a Triple Threat Match against Benoit (c) and Michaels, but was unsuccessful. In the same PPV, Flair lost to Shelton Benjamin in a singles match and Orton defeated Cactus Jack to retain the IC title. Triple H put an end to his feud with Shawn Michaels by beating him in a Hell in a Cell Match at WWE Bad Blood (2004). Here, Batista defeated Maven and Randy Orton retained the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Shelton Benjamin. At this point only Randy Orton was holding gold, but soon that was going to change for good. Triple H demanded another World Heavyweight Championship match and it was granted to him. An Elimination Chamber Match was scheduled to crown a new champion at the next PPV. At WWE New Year's Revolution (2005): Batista, Orton & Triple H were the last in the cage. Batista found out and in the best angle of WWE history, he showed the thumbs-down to Triple H, signaling him that he's choosing to fight him for the World Heavyweight Championship, thus leaving "Evolution" and turning face in the process. At WrestleMania 21, Batista defeated Triple H and won his first World Heavyweight Title, thus the future becoming the present. The end of "Evolution" was near. Batista and Triple H continued their rivalry into WWE Backlash (2005), where Batista defeated Triple H after a Batista Bomb. Their rivalry concluded in a Hell in a Cell Match at the WWE Vengeance (2005), where Batista defeated Triple H again to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
