  1. Just to say what a remarkable achievement this was...
  2. Over to you @heywoodu
  3. Big thanks from Britain to Latvia and Austria. The coaching of Martin Dukurs and Matthias Guggenberger has worked brilliantly this winter.
  4. Something for Totallympics' Americans. If Russians compete in 2024 and the USA is already losing interest in the Olympics compared to the past how much would this affect how much NBC (or any US TV station) would pay for their next contract?
  5. Nothing suspicious here...
  6. Allison Dos Santos has had a knee operation today. Good news is that although he should be out for 8-12 weeks, he's not been ruled out of competition for the season
  7. And the Czech Republic
  8. England, Scotland, Wales too.
  9. JoshMartini007 DCRO Noticed Three Russians have decided to represent Palestine in the last few months. Any chance of them qualifying for Paris? Dressage/Show Jumping
  10. Boxing - Women's Flyweight Adams as a double winner with Ren as my bronze winner Fencing, women's Team Sabre - Same choices as Phelps gold and bronze Diving - Men's 3m Synchronized Springboard - Obviously with Britain second. Greece, on the other hand, were the Stephen Bradbury of the Summer Games. All the good teams made stupid mistakes, all the average teams were underscored and the Greeks overscored because of the home crowd
  11. Pointing Percy at the podium....
  12. Reuters News Report Former sprinter Irina Privalova, a four-time Olympic medallist who now serves as deputy head of Russia’s athletics federation, dismissed the suggestion that dissidents among Russian athletes could be allowed to compete as refugees. “Athletes and any Russian citizen who does not support the president’s (Vladimir Putin’s) decision should not represent the country,” she told Reuters. “I think those who don’t support (Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine) have already left. The ones who remain are those who support it.”
  13. Wales and British and Irish Lions rugby player Charlie Faulkner has died at the age of 81
  14. At least the British women can call on 2-3 better riders to improve the team for 2024. I'm not sure the men can improve more in 18 months.
  15. Seriously though, this is a strange team. Lots of players who qualify because their parents were born in a country that became independent of the UK 50 years ago.
  16. Nice to see Harrison Ford on the team. Just because he's 80 and hasn't made a good film in years shouldn't be any reason to write him off
  17. Ireland withdraw from the World Championships
  18. Klishina was a very odd case. In 2016 it was actually proved she had been protected by the Russian authorities in 2014 after an abnormal testosterone test. https://jurisprudence.tas-cas.org/Shared Documents/OG 16-024.pdf#search=klishina
  19. The IOC statement says "boxing qualifying events and competitions for Paris 2024 would not be run under the authority of the IBA" but doesn't go into more details than that.
  20. I don't think have the IBA have any part in the Olympic qualifying system (same as Tokyo)
  21. Rumours are that Australia, Canada, England, Ireland and the Netherlands will follow the USA and not send any boxers
