  1. Our commentators were full of praise for Polish team during the match against Serbia The truth is we played garbage, especially in second half and deserved the 0-4 loss.
  2. Horrible tragedy in Poland In Swiebodzice - very close to the place where I live - a big building has collapsed due to gas explosion and killed at least 5 people including 2 children with many more injured
  3. We already know before the final match day that U18 women teams from BELARUS GERMANY ITALY RUSSIA SLOVENIA SERBIA Have all qualified to the World Championships in Argentina
  4. Apparently FIVB wants to change it's name - they claim it is too long and that's what makes Volleyball less recognizable than it should be
  5. What about hurling or baseball But i admit personally sometimes i can't even see what is happening during hockey games
  6. BERLIN WON AGAINST DINAMO MOSCOW IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
  7. Belarus has lately a decent team in women's volley, but those u-18 girls seem really talented 3-0 3-1 3-1 They currently are leading pool B after three matches
  8. Kay, I don't know about Boxing as it's not my number 1 sport, maybe i am wrong but i still would argue there are more fans of volleyball in countries like Poland, Italy, Iran,Bulgaria, China, Peru, Thailand (especially women's, some of their players reach massive number of "likes" on fb - just adding as i see "social media presence" as the criteriium) and in Ice Hockey I believe the popularity should be higher in the scandinavian countries like Finland,Sweden, obviously Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada (but that what's you posted) or maybe even the U.S or Russia Here in Poland formula 1 never seemed to really catch like for example ski jumping, even when R.Kubica was amongst the best, and now it's mostly a fringe sport - but i don't deny it might be more popular in other countries. Oh, BTW you also might wanna edit your post, otherwise i fear our Slovakian Admin will find your address and personally murder you for that "CzechoSlovenia" mistake
  9. No handball seems pretty strange... Plus Formula 1 more popular than Volleyball, Hockey, or Boxing i don't really believe that Top 5 would be pretty possible if not for cricket.
  10. Gas (possibly sarin) attack near Idlib, Syria ~ 60 dead, including many children ~ 160 injured After taking victims to nearby hospital, it was shot from missile launcher. As the area is controlled by rebel group, it was possibly carried by Assad or Russia. I would add my own comment on this issue, but I don't want to be banned
  11. Serbia lost to Romania and Belarus already at u18 women euro
  12. Young Myanmar team won its group against Australia and Hong Kong at the Asian u18 Championship They still have a pretty long road to go but now it's not impossible for them to finish in top 4 and qualify to the World Championship

The second placed teams will have to compete in an additional round - another six team group. In the men's case, only the winner of 3rd stage group will qualify to WCH, but in the women's tournament top 2 teams will qualify.
  14. You mean Kotleba, the guy who hates the Gypsies? I saw a programme about him on Polish TV and was shocked by that dude, he seemed even worse than Le Pen Sadly it seems in today's times the youth switched from music-fads or dress code-fads to some kind of a fad for the politicians who "kick and scream", both right and leftwing.
  15. WE ARE THE CHAMPIOOONS Really good season for our team and I regret not being able to watch most of the competitions funny what a change of coach might do
  16. And In French polls Macron consolidates his lead over Le Pen, Germany's AFD is gradually getting less support in almost every poll, True Finns are going down with crazy speed It might be yet to early to say for sure but I believe the natiobalist anti-eu Right Wing wave is slowly vanishing here in Europe. Even in Poland our nationalistic PiS loses heavily in the newest polls, with only 2-3% support more than the centrist PO. Even Turkey's Erdogan seems scared as s**t of the upcoming referendum as many polls indicate Turkish people might for the first time vote against him. and it might be a pretty huge for him catastrophe if he loses
  17. Wait I thought CEV changed the rules and now teams from the same country are able to play the final match?
  18. And Just as I suspected all our teams have lost their play-off matches and are eliminated from the CL. I feel sorry just for Zaksa which had an awful draw, Skra and Resovia played terribly in the group stage and got what they deserved.
  19. Well, the truth is every religiom has it's terrorism. The closest to Buddhism related was probablh Aum Shinrikyo, The Christians have Lord's Resistance Army, National Tripura Liberation Front or even KKK, not counting single person terrorists. What I noticed however that in most of the cases Nationalism seems to play a very huge role in radicalization, and I believe it's pretty much the same with ISIS or Al-qaida, as the huge wave of Islam based terrorism has pretty much started after US/western coallition invaded the Middle East. Even the fact that Germany lately caught a terror suspect which turned out to be a neonazi in the past seems to support that. So I would instead of pointing at a single relligion, even if it seems to currently create the most terrorist, rather focus on the issue of far-right ideologies possibly playing a huge role in radicalization, as even in Europe we had already examples in the past showing that it's a very dangerous ideology(Hitler, Mussolini) and even now, like Breivik or the guy responsible for the Trollhattan school attack turning out to be far-right supportes. Plus it's pretty obvious to me that Radical Muslim/Christian/Hindu terrorism is just the new wave of nazizm - because that's the only way one wishing death to other people just because of the way they live can be named
  20. The driver from Antwerp now believed to be drunk and linked to drug trafficking
  21. it definitely will be interesting to watch the intense "final battle" between Kraft and Stoch
  22. Polish Public Tekevision : The attacker was Abu Izzaden, Muslim Cleric. British Public Television : The attacker could not be Izzaden, as he is currently in prison Polish Pulic Television an hour later : The attacker was Abu Izzaden, Muslim Cleric. #QualityJournalism Anyways, the attack was supposedly announced one day earlier on 4chan as a riddle - picture of a gun and Westminster's coordinates encoded in Morse Code which translates to Binary Code which translated gave the coordinates. It might be important as if it's real it might prove that 1. The attack was planned way earlier 2. This may show that it might have not been Islamic Terrorism at all (ISIS and others rather never did something like this before - plus didn't claim the responsibilty yet, but they might simply wait to see what colour was perpertrator) There are also now apparently 2 version of how the terrorist looked - one that the photographed man was the terrorist, but some other claim that he was a "white, bald man" - but this second version is only cited by some British users of reddit.
  23. Maybe, but there have been many BREXIT talks already and none caused something like this, and the suspect is said to be 40something Asian which in todays times means sadly that it's 90% sure Islam based
  24. It looks like an open attack on a governing institution so I doubt it. One could even classify it as a terrorist organization trying to take over a country.
  25. Maybe not but it certainly sounds different when you say "the populist party finished second, only after the winner" than "the populist party finished fourth"
