    I don't think this is any different to the "Beach Handball" tournament the Handball Federation is hosting on their own dureing the Paris 2024 Olympics. They sell theirs as a showcase to get the sport to the olympics games, but it has no "official recognition". I think this would be the same. A publicity stunt.

    Is such a shame that 2020 olympians in sailing 470 didn't try to compete in ILCA7 events. Is super easy to qualify for the olympics in that class, they have the level to do it with ease.....

    One would think how curious is that, despite being in theory 10 places left for ranking, World Athletics has only accepted four them, just the enough needed for the to to what they have being lobbing for: send Leonard Korir to the olympics. Why did they stop in 74 quotas when there were 80 up for grabs?

    Well, that's semantics?A word can mean many different things at the same time. In Spain a pairs event is called PAREJAS. And parejas also means dating couples. But doesnt mean that two people compiting together in a PAREJAS events are necesarily lovers. Well, this is the same. Skeet Mixed Team is named TEAM because it compromises more than one person, but doesnt mean that a team event is necesarily considered a TEAM sport.

    I read once somewhere that considers two people events PAIRS events, and not TEAM events. And that's probably what they ae going to use to rule

    World Sailing also let russian compete as in the mixed Nacra event in the Last Chance Regatta, though they didn't qualify

    For some unknown reason, would be wearing orange and black as our uniform for now on This is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Looks like a uniform lmao Reaction has been very bad and all athletes hate it. It's specially bad cause there's a saying in Spain that's "vestir la roja", literally translate to "wear the red" that's use by everyone when talking about representing Spain in a international sporting event. I guess now we are "wearing the orange".... Watch out, .....

    lost their women's quota, doesn't appear now in the Road To Paris. still has both.

    is probably qualifying in Men's Long Jump, for example. But for other natios I get it, marathon needs a lot of training and quotas can't be announced too late. And about and , they already broke that rule last year. They do it if they want. For example they gave a quota to in both men's 1500 and womens 200 last olympic games. So it's not uncommon. Also, guy likely qualifies by world ranking as he's #81. He only needs one person rejecting their place
