  1. Bronze for Finland to get them on the medal board
  2. GOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLDDDDDDD!!!! Yesssssssssssss! My nerves!! Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy, you legends
  3. This is magical, look at the celebrations in Fiji after their gold medal. It’s exactly how I like to imagine every small nation celebrating a medal…
  4. Come on girls, the closing ceremony is in 11 days time, we need a winner
  5. Can’t believe the Germans won bronze, they had a bad series of dives but overall it was a low standard so they somehow managed to sneak onto the podium. Russia getting the first foul dive in this event since Athens 2004 says it all. The Americans were fantastic though, thoroughly deserve that silver.
  6. 5th place in the semi-final for Aoife and Margaret in the women's lightweight double... they are only 22 years old so the future for them is bright.
  7. into the men's lightweight double final
  8. Wow! stopped the Rio 2016 silver medalist from in round 2 of their -81kg Round of 16. Winner by KO
  9. And confirmed. India won so it resulted in a 3-way tie which meant head to head no longer could be used to break the tie and that dropped below again:
  10. A two-way tie is possible also. For example if India lost against GB it would leave and with 2 wins each and and with 1 win each. And in that circumstance head to head is probably what counts. At least that’s why I think they currently have above despite having worse set ratio. If India wins and joins them on 2 wins each then it won’t be head to head used and then will go to set ratio. Again I am not sure either but it seems like this is the system they are using.
  11. Are you sure? I think it might be head to head because when beat in men’s doubles it showed Indonesia beneath them in the table despite having a better set ratio. And I imagine if the Indian pair win their match and cause a 3-way tie, it will then go to set ratio. I’m not 100% sure but that’s what I thought.
  12. By then Bach will have ensured we have to have a male and female lighting the cauldron so we can make that happen too
  13. Well it's always nice to be involved in a piece of history Yes it truly is a remarkable achievement. We could go a whole century without that happening again.
  14. And if he wins gold in Paris he should light the Olympic cauldron in LA 2028
  15. Hancock, an absolute top top Olympic legend now, 3 times Olympic champion in men's skeet!
  16. Yes it is! Well done Mona, awesome performance
  17. Lizzie Deignan also said she thought the Dutch won it
  18. It would explain a lot because that was a debacle... and the fact she celebrated across the line, it did look like she thought she won it.
  19. This is definitely going to be a highlight in the Olympic film. Amazing story
