  1. In case of the same score, ranking is decided based on the best performance score of the athletes. If they are equal then second best performance score...
  2. Ženska košarkaška reprezentacija uvjerljivo pobijedila Češku i izborila osminu finala Eurobasketa. Idući protivnik BiH. Bojan Bogdanović će igrati na kvalifikacijskom turniru za odlazak na Olimpijske igre za našu mušku košarkašku ekipu.
  3. I don't know how realistic it is but I hope that with that ''additional'' quotas we could qualify first time in this sport.

  7. CROATIAN ROAD TO TOKYO 2020 Olympic qualification process already has started in many sports - mountain bike cycling, track cycling, golf, judo, karate, taekwondo, sailing and triathlon. We can also say that processs of qualification for Tokyo started for some team sports - football, handball and basketball. We lost any theoretic chance to qualify in field hockey. First important competition for Croatia in which we expected direct qualification for Tokyo was World Sailing Championship in Aarhus, Denmark. Our sailors tried to qualify in seven of ten olympic disciplines. Our first athlete that qualified Croatia for Tokyo 2020 is Tonci Stipanovic in laser. Sime Fantela with his brother Mihovil qualified in 49er. So, we have 3 athletes in Tokyo for now. Results of our athletes in Aarhus: Men's laser 20. Tonci Stipanovic (best 22 won quota, one per nation) - QUALIFIED Men's 49er First at the moment - Sime Fantela and Mihovil Fantela (best 11 won quota, one per nation) - QUALIFIED ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Men's finn 11. Josip Olujić (9th placed athlete won last quota place) Women's laser r 76. Andjela de Micheli Vitturi (26th placed athlete won last quota place) Women's 49er FX 27. Enia Nincevic and Mihaela de Micheli Vitturi (11th placed crew won last quota place) Men's RS:X 68. Luka Mratovic (17th placed athlete won last quota place) Women's RS:X 55. Palma Cargo (19th placed athlete won last quota place) We didn't send competitors in men's and women's 470 and nacra 17.
  8. CROATIAN ROAD TO TOKYO 2020 Croatia is currently in 56th place on men's mountain bike olympic qualification ranking list and in 33th place on women's mountain bike olympic qualification ranking list. Best 21 nations from the rankings will qualify for Tokyo. In track cycling we are not on the olympic rankings in any discipline.
  9. CROATIAN ROAD TO TOKYO 2020 In triathlon, Jacopo Butturini is currently on 163rd place of individual olympic qualification ranking. He was in 25th position at European triathlon championship in Glasgow yesterday. Good to see that we have someone on olympic rankings even though he is far from qualification.
  10. CROATIAN ROAD TO TOKYO 2020 Judo qualifications for Olympic Games in Tokyo started on May 25th 2018. Athletes are competing in various tournaments to collect points for ranking list. Deadline for obtaining points for Olympic qualification is May 25th 2020. If the qualification period would finished today we would have 3 quotas, all in women's competition. Current rankings (July 2018.): M -60 kg: no Croats on ranking list M -66 kg: Bernard AZINOVIC is on the 89th place at the moment M -73 kg: Marin FRANUSIC and Marko DRASKOVIC are on 103rd place of the rankings M -81 kg: Dominic SUMPOR is on 42nd place M -90 kg: Antonijo GARASIC ERNJES is on 63rd position of the rankings M -100 kg: no Croats on ranking list M +100 kg: Marko KUMRIC is currently on 35th position W -48 kg: no Croats on ranking list W -52 kg: no Croats on ranking list W -57 kg: Tena SIKIC is at the moment in 38th place which is the last place which is enough for Olympic qualification through continental quota W -63 kg: no Croats on ranking list W -70 kg: Barbara MATIC is currently 52nd W -78 kg: Karla PRODAN is in 14th position on the olympic ranking list and currently holds a position for Tokyo 2020 W +78 kg: Ivana SUTALO holds 20th place in her category at the moment which is enough for olympic ticket for Tokyo. Next competition for our judokas is Budapest Grand Prix 2018, which starts on August, 10th.
  11. Tena Sikic lost in 2nd round of Zagreb Judo Grand Prix in her category. Bernard Azinovic lost his match in 1st round in -66 kg weight category. Other Croatian judokas will compete in the next two days.
  12. I'm not sure. If I have enough time I'll do it.
  13. No chance for that to happen. There are no qualifying system for mixed doubles. It will be decided at Olympic games who will compete in mixed doubles. It means that only athletes already qualified can apply to participate in mixed doubles. Then top 15 mixed doubles with lowest combined rankings will qualify (for example Pavic is No 1 in doubles competition and Konjuh is No 20 in singles competition, and their combined ranking is 21). If they could be among 15 doubles with lowest combined rankings they will qualify. We need one of our girls to be in top 20 in singles competition to qualify, I think. If we combine that ranking with ranking of Pavic in doubles competition or Cilic in singles competition we might qualify.
  14. I think they can't. Jurak must be among top 10 in the doubles ranking list and she will not be that high for sure. Martic and Vekic will probably qualify in singles competition. In Rio, qualifyng system for doubles competition was that top 10 from doubles rankings qualify. Rest of the draw was made from players qualified in singles competition (they combined their rankings, for example Vekic is 46th and Martic is 51st - 46+51=97, and the doubles with lower sum of rankings qualified)
  15. I think that with current rankings of Martic in Vekic in singles competition we could easily have a women's doubles in Tokyo.
  16. I think we will have 8 players (optimistic prediction, especially in women's competition). Men's singles: Marin CILIC and Borna CORIC Women's singles: Donna VEKIC, Petra MARTIC, Ana KONJUH and maybe Jana FETT Men's doubles: Marin CILIC/Borna CORIC and Mate PAVIC/Nikola MEKTIC Women's doubles: Petra MARTIC/Ana KONJUH Mixed doubles: none or Mate PAVIC/Ana KONJUH
  17. CROATIAN ROAD TO TOKYO 2020 Croatia is currently in 47th place on men's mountain bike olympic qualification ranking list and in 29th place on women's mountain bike olympic qualification ranking list. Best 21 nations from the rankings will qualify for Tokyo.
