  1. Wow! Shocking that Kauf did not advance. Final will have 2 Canadians, 2 Aussies, 1 Kazakh and 1 French athlete competing for the medals
  2. Yes, we have a great youth development program for freestyle skiing in Ontario and Quebec, especially in moguls.
  3. I can't speak to number 1 because I did not see her run, but depending on her age, that is a great finish and could bode well for 2022. For the second question, the top 6 move onto the final round.
  4. Wow, such an elite competition. Great runs all around!
  5. Robichaud with a slow run, but still good enough for second! Canada 1 and 2 right now!
  6. In English speaking countries those are actually usually considered female names. I just have never heard of Anthony as a female name. Regardless, it isn't her first name
  7. Oh my goodness! Three misses for JT Boe!
  8. Not exactly sure what you're trying to say here lol. You just repeated the point I made.
  9. Nevermind, Chloe slightly qualifies! 4 Canadians in the final!!
  10. I thought so too, but unfortunately every skiier after is laying down great runs. Does not look likely for Chloe to advance
  11. It's not the IOC's fault. This was a negotiation between the IIHF and the NHL. It came down to NHL owners not wanting to risk losing their players to injury, as well as the fact that games would air in the middle of the night and provide no value to the NHL, NBC or Sportsnet in terms of television revenue. The NHL will be back in 2022 because they want to break into the Chinese market, and will also be back in 2026 assuming the Games go to Calgary (which is looking increasingly likely). NHL players will demand that the Olympics be included in their next arbitration agreement or there will be another lockout.
  12. This scheduling is a joke from the European perspective. There are currently ZERO live events going on, not even one single hockey or curling match. As a student currently on exchange studying in Europe, this really sucks. However, I feel like if I were back home in Canada the schedule would be amazing. Everything in primetime and in the early morning, with nothing important to miss overnight, except for maybe cross country skiing and speed skating.
