Women's Ice Hockey Tournament at the Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022
Finnator123 replied to hckošice's topic in Ice Hockey
One of the weakest Olympic tournament for Finland... Räty getting left out, Mustonen forced to leave due to family... Oh dear... -

Our most likely Captain Marko Anttila is still in isolation... He had COVID like 2 weeks ago, but he needs CT-values to be above 40 for 2 days in a row or above 35 for 3 days in a row. Testing happens every 24 hours. What's even better? Chief Physician of Olympic Team Finland even said, that there's no medical reasons to keep him isolated anymore... This is very annoying. He's pretty much our best 4th liner & a beast while team is short-handed. -

We can kick Canada's ass on Men's hockey. Why can't we do it on Women's(Okay, 2 wins over CAN but still)? We seriously need to change something. Like we should allow Women's team to practice with multiple U20/U18 teams. Also we need to switch up the coaching, which we did a bit too soon (Truly hope that everything's ok with Mustonen & his family.) New head coach, new way to play hockey. -

Literally nobody's surprised how strong Canada is. Our Team is in the same exact position where Men's national team was a few decades ago. We're still searching for a way to beat Canada & US. In the same tournament. -

Women's Ice Hockey IIHF World Championship 2021
Finnator123 replied to hckošice's topic in Ice Hockey
Same results, as every year(No, I don't want to talk about the 2019 Finals )... At least Keisala was selected the Tournaments best goalie, rightfully so. She's gonna replace Räty as a trusted starter soon lol Our goalie production still is the best in the world Let's see, what else? Ronja Savolainen is going to be our #1 defenseman soon, because Hiirikoski won't be playing forever. Our quarterfinal hero, Sanni Vanhanen, is going to be a superstar someday. Next woman to wear C is going to be Michelle Karvinen, my lucky guess Now we have, give or take 5 months, until the Women's Olympic tournament. Only 5 months to figure out how the hell we're going to reach the finals... -

King Henrik Lundqvist has officially retired. A great goalie! LEGEND, THE GOAT. But this picture hurts my soul, if it's from 2006 lol
