  1. Thanks @dcro for the 6 points! And it's also a solid start for our team too.
  2. Remember Vektor said non-english songs are the best this year, everybody think. FAST
  3. United States started playing on the playlist, is it medal time?
  4. I really want to say a lot based on how the votes are going, at least I'm in session 2
  5. So many of the scores are completely not making sense to me yet and this is why I think that many things are still going to drastically change as we go on
  6. Thank you @Federer91 for the 8 points! Seeing how everything is going until now, I'd think the Lithuanian flag was mixed up with Colombia, but I'll take it
  7. Lol, it would be hilarious if Lithuania skated through getting points from every jury, but it's not higher than top 10 in any of them 3/3 for now Thanks @rybak for the point!
  8. Thank you @Wanderer for the three points and thank you @amen09 for the one point And good morning to everyone!
  9. BELGIUM One of my favourite R&B-Soul artists is from Belgium and in 2022 she released her third album "Persona" and this one is my personal favourite from the album, hope you find it enjoyable Selah Sue - Pills And with that, I'm actually leaving for four days, funnily enough, amidst all the chaos, the date of the final remained safe (because people that were trying to book me really lowballed the price), so see you on the day of the final
  10. ESTONIA One of the more famous Spotify artists of Estonia with near 100k monthly listeners both, Púr Múdd and Shira should have been the ones to represent Estonia in Eurovision this year, but alas, they didn't even make the national final, thus they're going to represent their country in the festival of music. Hope you enjoy. Púr Múdd & Shira - Golden Shores
  11. Mykolas Alekna continues to surprise as he beats his PB by nearly another meter. His new PB is now 67.68m and it was the Lithuanian U23 record, NCAA record, World's all time best throw by a 19yo Four throws were over 67 metres, it's the second best throw in the world this season, and it's the 5th best U23 of all time, with Mykolas only being 19. You can read more here: https://www.european-athletics.com/news/mykolas-alekna-throws-world-age-19-discus-best-of-67-68m
  12. I gravitated towards that, because I love green, but since the word saint has many connotations with religion (which I'm not much of a fan of), I'm hoping to be a goat or a falcon
  13. I think this was the shortest timeframe of voting that we've ever had, so I'm not entirely surprised that some jurors are having problems, because they didn't plan that time would fly by so fast, plus in my case, I don't know about the other countries, but the voting period was scheduled through Easter here in Lithuania, accompany that with work and other obligations, and I was listening to the songs right before sleep on the 5/10 days that I could
  14. The Lithuanian national championships were held between April 19th-22nd A nice amount of EJCH and EYOF qualifying times were reached and quite a few Lithuanian NR's and age group NR's were broken. The most important race although was the 100m women's breaststroke, where Rūta Meilutytė finished 2nd with a 1.07.07, behind Teterevkova's 1:07.01 This time was enough, and it's likely that Rūta's comeback is in full force, since she has a 50,100m Breaststroke qualifying mark for both the World and European Championships. 15. Jeeeeez, it never gets any easier no matter how long I do this. Did a studio headphone listening and it messed up my ranking a lot, so it's going to be the final fifth listen that decides it all. I just kinda hate the feeling when I feel like I didn't give a song enough points when I had the chance, so I'm always trying to be very thorough Only top 4 survived all of the listenings. 8th place is now 5th 9th place is now 6th 5th place is now 7th 15th place is now 8th 7th place is now 9th 6th place is now 10th 10th place is now 11th 11th place is now 12th 19th place is now 13th and fighting for a single point Buuuut, I'm pretty sure that the next listen, which I'm probably doing on Thursday is going to be my final decision, since I'm away from Friday.
  16. The more that I participate in these contests, the more it just comes down to you vibing with the musical taste of the user from that country and that's why their picks just tend to not disappoint you Anyhow, not the strongest Annual that we've had in my books, but definitely more than enough of good quality songs. I have a feeling this contest is going to be wild, crazy, unexpected and entertaining.
  17. Definitely not in the same TISC, and yes, it's going to be weird We needed USA with "Save Your Tears" ft. Ariana Grande, and then it would have been even crazier.
  18. Rūta Meilutytė started in the Stockholm meet, it's her first international competition and her third official competition after a very long hiatus. Having started with the A team in Stockholm, it's a pretty good indication that she is actually serious about coming back.
