  1. Wonderful news! We've reached 30 participants, welcome to the contest, Czech Republic
  2. We're very glad that Malta is continuing the trend of participation in TISC, welcome
  3. This week is pretty much awful for me, which might be the case why I'm not that present in this topic at the moment. We already had one case earlier this week if someone can send a song that belongs to two nations, so me and OlympicIRL resolved it with having the person that wants to use the song contact the jury members of that nation to get their permission. So if Dezbee has nothing against Mexico using this song, it should be perfectly fine, as it is in the end of the day at least 50% heritage of Mexico.
  4. Who should I send Agger, who should I send??? I have this duet that sing a beautiful, calming song. Then I have this woman, which has a song in Lithuanian and then I have this, oh who am I kidding, we don't have anymore artists from earlier than 2010
  5. I should have known that more than two sentences would be a challenge.
  6. I'm truly sorry that life does not work exactly the way you want it to work. You have to understand that not everyone is here simply to entertain you. Everyone works at their own pace, everyone has different selection processes and there are still two good weeks until the deadline. For example, it's becoming boring for me that you complain about everything, because now it has become predictable. Now because I'm bored of your attitude, it does not mean that you'll stop complaining. It's the same that if you're bored that people don't post songs, that does not mean that they'll start posting them. Have a nice day
  7. Well, he read my message, so I did everything that's in my power and now it's him that has to decide if he wants to participate or not
  8. It was basically me writing to them: "Hey, perhaps you're interested in music? You are? Great! Maybe you're interested in sports as well? Uhm, no? Okay then" The best part used to be trying to explain to them what the competition even is "This is something like Eurovision, but the whole world is included and it's on a much smaller scale." This also reminds me of the times when I actually contacted some of the Lithuanian representatives to inform them how well they did and I probably only confused them. It's kinda weird now, because I run in to them occasionally at events and gigs.
  9. well, we entered a Lithuanian language song in TISC twice. The first Totallympics Open and the 2nd edition of the Totallympics annual.
  10. That would be lovely. I've been trying to get debuting nations in TISC for years. Written to users from Iran, Philippines, Japan, but with no success. I've even tried to hunt people from Austria, Belgium, Iceland on social media, but often they thought that I was either A) Crazy B) Weird C) They weren't interested in a sports forum. Also, it's quite disappointing that we lost some reocurring nations like Switzerland, Sweden, Australia, Germany.
  11. You never listen to a Lithuanian song in their own language and with good reason, we don't have that much to offer Music somewhere before 2006 in our country was very awful and it would be a shame to share some of the songs with you guys (Of course, there are some exceptions). And on the topic of Morocco, I don't know what they're doing, but they've never been lower than 14th in my rankings, I guess my taste aligns with the Moroccan user.
  12. Everyone is fully capable of learning English and if you have a good ear and also a good understanding of the language, you can make the accent much less noticeable. I'm sure there are plenty of Polish artists that don't face the same problem as some previous TISC representatives had
  13. It's a pleasure to have Canada participating in the contest again, welcome
  14. As OlympicIRL and some others have stated before, the TISC competitions originated for the sole purpose of covering the periods before the winter and summer season of sports. Mainly, they're here to attract the forum users during the time when there's not that many sports headlines and the news are slow. If I'm not wrong, the contests are not being held during the winter and summer so that they wouldn't draw away the focus from sports, as it is a sports forum after all, so I'm not certain if Sindo would approve the idea for a third contest. Also, even if we were to have a TISC where all the songs had to be in their native language, you would still probably find a way to complain that Great Britain, United States, Australia have an unfair advantage against the other nations
  15. And even two weeks before the deadline, my my, you surprise me Welcome to the contest
  16. Well, I hope you'll overcome your problems. I'll surely have to overcome mine, to organise this contest
  17. I was wondering when Poland were planning to join the competition. Welcome aboard
