  1. At 3.65, I'm starting to really have no hopes for Miklyčiūtė's future, because she absolutely bombed her u18s as well, when she had the 3rd best PB/SB
  2. Vasiliauskas adding a couple more points to the positive Lithuanian projection
  3. I had a guy fly in to Lithuania from the US to my concert last month He told me he spent around 1000USD for plane tickets, so I feel you, man, I feel you
  4. Then why are you not there??? You have to be the change that you want to see in this world.
  5. I'm surprised Valentina Monetta was not running for SM
  6. You mean to tell me that Serbia is only -15 after today's disasters in the projection? As for Lithuania, I think our first day must've been our worst, so to see that we're doing better than "expected" is already good enough. Since Morauskaitė is probably half of this score change, I assume that Matusevičius with his 71 meter SB could be another positive change if he were to throw an 80+
  7. That's only because they're planning to skip day 3
  8. I hope we can reach one one day... One SB from a runner that hasn't ran this year is the heist of the day
  9. Can't relate. What's a PB? We only reach those in 2nd rate Lithuanian competitions.
  10. It's a bit more difficult to have something mandatory for school, in sports, and during the Summer holidays.
  11. Nikodemas survived 4.70, but it won't make a difference unless he PB's with a 4.90 now somehow. Valinčius underperformed in my eyes. 100 metres won't be kind to us either though Takes me back to Grinčikaitė and Sakalauskas days where 100 metres was where we got our huge points.
  12. Please, a nice PB from Valinčius would make me very happy.
  13. I don't know how to feel about her now though, after her sister was pumping gas into multiple cars with tax payer money, I can only imagine that it's likely she and her mother also benefited from that and used it to freely drive around to every Lithuanian competition. Although it is speculation that Ieva could have benefited from that, I still didn't like her that much, because she was always one of those athletes that talked very loudly in interviews, but never showed up at any important competition.
  14. The typical Zarankaitė experience, where you throw 58-60 metres in Lithuania and Latvia, and then 55-56 metres everywhere else
  15. Simas Bertašius with a nice sprint during his 850 metre race
  16. It's to give the throwing nations an illusion that they're qualifying to the 1st league right before an onslaught of running events
  17. Moldova didn't even bring a pole vaulter Perhaps the Latvian hammer thrower could fill for him?
  18. Come on, 5.00 and a U20 qualifying mark for Nikodemas please I want to see a Lithuanian PB today.
  19. For a second there, I thought you were talking about Brigita Virbalytė on LRT One of the best commentating though that I've heard from Lithuanian television, since Brigita has a lot of insight on most of the athletes here.
  20. Serbia really not having a good time yet... DQ in men's 400m, 16th in women's 5000m and nearly an NM in triple jump, ending in 15th.
  21. I have bigger expectations for him though, really hoped he would finally pull himself together and qualify to the U23 with a 15.50+ There were four fairly talented young triple jumpers in the u20/u18s age group a couple of years ago and he is the final one that hasn't quit athletics yet. So I would love to see him succeed.
  22. Tomas Keršulis up to 6th in 400m, Serbia gets a very very costly DQ.
  23. That's our strategy as well, friend I'll be surprised to see a PB anywhere.
  24. Griška successfully avoided zero points in the triple jump with a valid jump. Now I'd really like to see a decent 15m+
