I'm not 100% sure cricket will have its best players. There's a lot of hurdles in India and to a lesser extent the Caribbean nations.

While it was a terrible idea initially, DanceSport did well in promoting breaking around the world. Given the number of competing nations it has gone from almost non-existent to one of the biggest non-Olympic event.

Though one thing I must say, new sports must be added during the application process so nations can vote on it in the event of multiple host applications, not after the host has been awarded

Demonstration sports were a thing for quite a while. I'm on the fence. For non-venue specific sports like karate or squash, a decision should be made one way or another, but for sports like baseball/softball and cricket where the venue is specific (and expensive) I don't mind them showing up every now and then. Like I don't expect Paris to host a baseball/softball tournament.

Lacrosse is great to watch, but the sport is less developed worldwide than flag football

Good luck to Cuba in the VNL. Serbia is technically reachable, but like Canada in the women they are going to need to defeat a few top teams.

There's still the Nation's League next year before the rankings are finalized. Assuming Brazil maintains their ranking they should easily qualify. Even if not, Brazil has quite the point buffer, they'd have to lose most of their VNL games to be in danger.

Good point for Canada to counter the one we lost against the Netherlands. Looks like the second quota is going to come down to Belgium vs. Canada. Who would have guessed that going into the tournament?

Correct only the 12 qualified teams can compete in the team event.

We were incredibly lucky to win bronze last year. Pretty much the other five teams choked while Canada was consistent.
