  1. We got the Junior World Championships live & FTA from {copy/paste} Székesfehérvár this weekend. Semis and Finals from Friday to Sunday Sport Events - Sports Calendar, Schedule & Replays
  2. Yeah, there's a few fairly known of our juniors who ended up there. Guess they have nice holidays & a few decent Championships so why.not.
  3. British Championships from.Wales this year. Sadly, for the first time in many years absolutely no TV coverage at all. Think most of the men pros are not bithering. Shame, because in the Ladies especially we have lots of great riders. https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/
  4. Think are doing a bit of the old Jack Charltons, scouring the NCAA lists for people with Maltese grannies.
  5. DQF lane infringement on first change, promoted! 5:28:00 point on the YT vid is where the result changes!
  6. win, so all down to the judges! Now given as official!
  7. Ok, this is all going to come down to protests, there are guaranteed to be some! If it wasn't scary enough.......Tuka goes on First Leg for !
  8. Oh my God. Comms say Third Place is level at 36/37, so it will all be down to the 4x400m Mixed! In fact 372 371 Countback is individual wins 3 3 Second places 4 2
  9. PV results in! Big changes in three minutes! 310 298 274 Bosnia into Don't Do Anything Stupid mode now. And 2nd in.the Men's 200m!
  10. DQF in the Women's 200m for lane infringement, so that looks a bit fatal for promotion. After 28/37 286 284
  11. For the first time judges give a false start .....and it goes to.. Aww, she's back in pretty Point swing coming in the W 200m also - only 3rd in the B Race.
  12. Just dropping & now, but believe PV still has a way to go & both & have good points coming there. 28/37 events. 286 284 261
  13. Tuka does his job in the 800m! guy wins the PV with.a single vault!
  14. Now after 26/37 we are 327 287.5 266 257 247
  15. Big win for Gina McNamara - 28 solo points across 1500m & 800m!
  16. Yep Iceland & Andorra DQF in the Hurdles, so even Iceland can't afford many more of those.
  17. Oh oh, can see a DQF in the hurdles. Think we can see a judges decision cos someone did not jump a hurdle. Malta sneaking back in.... After 22 288 241.5 218 216 207
  18. Off we go for an exciting day with every single jump, throw & run going to be crucial..... 66.89 NR for in the hammer......Ypsi Moreno the only athlete so far to master the crucial "yell very loud at the hammer once you've thrown it" technique.
  19. Heh heh heh. Your handy guide to everyday chronology Biannual = Twice every year. Biennial = Once every two years. Olympiad = A period of four years between Olympics. Sesquicentennial = Once every 150 years. Sothic Cycle = The cycle of once every 1460 years. And don't get me started about the Maya.......
  20. Yep, took a while to get going but after about 10 events when every result brings about a change in the table....I guess it might be different if we saw if every week, but once a year is perfect. Back in the 50s and 60s these multi-national matches invitational challenges were the common form of athletics meets until the likes of Oslo, Zurich with their concentration on World Records etc took over, so I suppose that was why the European Cup was created in the 1960s.
  21. So here's the Day 1 Scores - really cannot be matched for consistency all across the board, whole team have all stepped up a gear, and even the smaller nations like , & have put in some great events, but unfortunately have some really weak ones. After 20/37 Iceland 260 Luxembourg 219.5 Moldova 197 Bosnia and Herzegovina 196 Malta 184 Georgia 169 Azerbaijan 159 North Macedonia 156 Andorra 148.5 Armenia 136 San Marino 132 Montenegro 132 Albania 116 Kosovo 72 Liechtenstein 60
  22. Scores so tight overall that in the Men's HJ & are going to fight it out for 0.5 of a point rather settle for a tie!
