    Yeah in fans just do not respect it all, unlike beloved sports like big-snorkelling & cheese-rolling, yet in culturally close countries like & it’s up there with triple-jumping & ski aerials as a minority but perfectly legitimate way to represent the nation.

    Yeah, it was like Mo Farah who realised he would always win by being a guy who could run at a pace of sub 13:00 for 5000m - which lots of Africans could - and then sprint for 400m - which none of them could.

    I did not see any. Kerr ran forward to his family & Ingebritsen had gone to the mixed zone by the time he came back. The other Norwegian & everyone else shook his hand. But I guess politeness is a cultural difference.

    They can easily change the rules because vertical jumps are not attempt limited. I would say at least one extra jump before a tie can be offered. Also who gets to make the offer? Moon definitely put Kennedy on the spot by offering, but why should she take the initiative?

    Have rewatched it & Ingebritsen did not congratulate Kerr at any point after the race. Extremely bad sportsmanship.

    The situation stinks because effectively the less competitive or fit athlete is biackmailing the more competitive or fit athlete into complying because they don’t want to be the bad guy.
