It is the general consensus, except for some Northern American. They only cheer for the Olympic spirit when they’re winning. This is totally wrong. Papadakis's book caused a huge storm in France because they were beloved as a duo, always shown as full of love, until then. But releasing a book just 3 weeks (!) before the Olympics and slamming him out of nowhere really made people think she was only trying to tear him down. Cizeron indirectly replied her in L'Equipe (#1 newspaper), explaining he'd spent months in "couple therapy" to get her back on the team since she was totally depressed. He tried to help her as much as possible, saw her as a sister, and was deeply hurt by it all. She never denied any of it after that. French people have plenty of flaws, but we're not afraid to air dirty laundry about anyone.

My god, it’s impressive how North American media can brainwash their audience. It’s been a whole week of them trying to tear them down. There’s no game today, they’ve averaged 1.5 points overall, and yet people are still crying: “They shouldn’t have been allowed to participate!” or “The Olympics are rigged!”, come on.
