  1. Title stays in
  2. Are we now an ice hockey powerhouse?
  3. Bol won the triple last year at the European Championships (400mh, 400m and 4x400m), so she has tried it and was successful. However, here on top of the 400mh, she also has the 4x400m and the 4x400m mixed in her program, so that’s already 7 races in one week. Add another potential 3 races in the 400m flat and she would have to run 10 times, which is possible, but I doubt anyone can maintain a high level for so many races.
  4. Vuleta! So well deserved First world title ever for according to the Dutch Eurosport commentators
  5. One of the closest Madison races I’ve ever seen. This was intense
  6. And there's the Hungarian medal, and it's gold!
  7. and qualified from Group B. (2nd in group stage) and (3rd in group stage) missed out.
  8. I don't think she had any intentions of running a WR only 6 weeks after winning the London marathon. The 10k was moved to Saturday to give Hassan the opportunity to compete in both the 10k and the 1.500m in front of her home crowd. She ran 29:37.83, which is the WL time by 22 seconds, but of course not even close to the WR.
  9. I agree. It was exciting until the last seconds. I'm also very impressed by 21-year old Realini. If she can keep this level, she will be a big force to be reckoned with in the upcoming years.
  10. Great to see the Faroe Islands, Greece and Georgia make their debut!
  11. Surprising bronze medal for the Dutch women! took the gold with a big margin on
