In women's team India is in 23rd place and in 19th seed. India will face Ukraine in the R of 32. If we get past them, we might face Korea in R of 16.

The January ranking in Table Tennis has been released. Indian men's team is in 9th place. They will be 6th seed in the qualification tournament. They are going to face 11th seed Hong Kong in R of16.

First one what is CAB? It is an act giving naturalisation rights to people from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh who belong to Hindu, Christian, Parsi, Jain ,Sikh communities. in short non - muslims. Now before you get into your bandwagon and think you know about Indian politics, just here me out. 1: This is for people of 3 countries mentioned above who are non- Muslims. 2: It is because they have fled those countries out of fear of execution, oppression or unable to practice their religious rights. 3: Now why non- Muslims. If you look properly above 3 countries are self announced Muslim Nation. So whatever you say their existence means other people are secondary citizens. 4: Coming to Muslims why should India give citizenship to Muslim who left their own Muslim countries. 5: It is not to discount any Muslim who might have also fled these countries for fear of circumstances, they have all the right to seek citizenship which will be looked in case to case basis. Why should India provide citizenship to Muslims who are leaving their Muslim countries. Where as India has to provide citizenship to people belonging to other religions because they are unable to live in the country because of fear of exploitation and execution.

Just one doubt I had with Mixed doubles qualification. China has won the quota in World tour. Will they be allowed to participate in Asian championship. This is because in this document continental qualification comes first. It is also written as Competition events are written in Heirarchical order.

Qatar open was given 3 quotas did they transfer 1 to Japan open.

I don't think 9-16 is random if we look at the information. I am saying this because in the second scenario they mention that 16-32 is a random draw. So if 9-16 was a random draw they might have mentioned it.

There are 3 periods of 6 months each. First period: 1-11-2018 to 30-4-2019 Second period: 1-5-2019 to 31-10-2019 Third period: 1-11-2019 to 30-4-2020 Every lifter trying to qualify must have one result from each period. The best score of each period is combined. They also add another score which is best of the rest in the 18 month period. The athlete must participate in a minimum of 6 competition in this qualification period. They should have competed in gold level event and another gold or silver level event. ( The events are categorized as Gold, Silver and Bronze). The athlete must have participated in atleast two events in Olympic categories. Furthermore, top 8 athletes earn a quota place for every weight category. One country can have only one quota in one weight category. The next 5 quotas go to the lifters from five continents. The last quota is either for host or tripartite invitation.

It is because the Colombian has participated in one event in period 3. Her score is the total of 4 results. Mirabhai's score is of 3 results.

Yes on the first point. May not be always on the second one. For ex- If a team scores 250 runs & another team chases the score by losing only 1wicket but on the very last ball, it is also a close match.
