  1. No qualification system should be changed, whatever is done should be left, doesn't matter if it's for tokyo 2020, 2021 or 2022
  2. why 2022? it will be same year as world cup (even though world cup will be in december) will be also weird to have 2 winter games with no summer games in between
  3. there is no chance it will happen this year, i would love it to, but it won't, athletes pushing back already, sooner or later IOC will announce a postponement (especially with UEFA postponing euro that was suppose to end 2 weeks before the olympics).
  4. what's the rush? there is still a year and 3 months until the olympics
  5. https://www.swimmingworldmagazine.com/news/tokyo-2020-olympic-games-will-be-called-off-for-july-if-who-says-it-should-be-says-ioc-boss-thomas-bach/
  6. Damn just yesterday they announced that everything will go on as usual
  7. Damn, Well premier league will have games this weekend
  8. Currently is the correct word, my kids schools also closed for 2 weeks, but no one promises that it won't be more (hopefully it's just 2 weeks, my son's birthday is in april and he is all set on a disney trip) I don't mind having the games behind closed doors, but it will definetly be weird, tokyo will probably rather postpone because they will loose so much money on it, and while ioc might not loose, tokyo most definetly will and yes waiting until may is fine, and hopefully it will be ok, the last thing i want is olympic postponement but if we go by current situation a postponement is the right thing, but waiting for 2 months in hopes of containment is perfectly fine (plus japan really should work on some sort of technology that they will put in all the venues that recognizes if a person have the virus before entering)
  9. Off course you dont, and it might be ok, but i doubt it, and you're not talking about 20k people from l.a coming to staples center, you are talking about millions from everywhere in the world coming to one city, this is a monumental contagion risk! Again, would you have it behind close doors? Disneyland was closed , DISNEYLAND!! nothing closes disneyland!
  10. He's not wrong, NBA was suspended, March Madness cancelled, Champions league played behind close doors, what do you think will happen in the olympics? can you have it behind close doors? off course not. This is the right thing to do, postponing by one year
  11. Is that you right now @Olympian1010 https://twitter.com/RealJamesWoods/status/1237228713760047104?s=20 How the hell do i get a twitter post to show up??
  12. And Bloomberg is retiring and endorsing Biden as well. The moderates consolidated from 4 to 1 (should I count tulsie?) And Warren still taking votes from Bernie
  13. Yes but you dont have to take it, i have regular blue shield hmo
  14. This whole spectacle over who won is really meaningless, it's not the general elections that winner takes all in every state. Here it's about delegates, so if biden and bernie end up with the same number of delegates in texas but one have slightly higher % , does it really matter? Just like Iowa, Buttegieg celebrated victory, but the delegates were virtually tied
  15. They are, Conservatives moving to Texas mainly, but definitely leaving Cali.
  16. In general elections it's pointless, the dems nominee gets called as the winner about 30 seconds after polls close, as much as i would love it to change, not gonna happen
  17. Biden won Massachusetts and Minnesota LOL. Biden also leading in Arkansas and Maine,
  18. I dont remember at all.....though it sounds like a good idea so i might've voted yes
  19. I dont remember, i sent the ballot 3 weeks ago, remind me what's r?
  20. I really feel like we will start hearing Eric Garcetti say "l.a Is prepared to host if Tokyo cant" and offer like a swap to change 2028 to Tokyo. And to be honest he is kinda right. Everything is pretty much ready. At least with venue existence. Though logistically it will be a nightmare.
  21. it will still be hard because of the majors going on in the same time, they need to stop it, i wish , but i'm skeptical
  22. ok, let's hope he can get the 61 with the soldiers and then no need to worry
  23. Looks like he went down to 59. Will need to turn 2
