    The track in Inzell was also once open but the Germans decided to cover it and now they make money on the fact that, for example, the Italian team trains there in the summer. If the Italians had such a good approach to business, they would build a covered track in Collalbo themselves and, for example, other nations would train here, e.g. Poland, the Czech Republic, etc. The Olympics in 2026 should be an impulse for such action but unfortunately in Italy is miss wise and competent managers.

    I think that our speed skating staff is doing a great job under Marchetto's leadership. At least 1 covered ice track is missing, so that we don't have to train all summer and autumn in Inzell. Unfortunately, Turin 2006 was a great missed opportunity and that object is no longer used for sports purposes. In 2026, unfortunately, it may be similar, which is why I regret that a covered track wasn`t built in Collalbo - I find the arguments that it`s a small town funny, since we train in Inzell - similarly, a small village in Bavaria.

    Barelli is their enemy and they are taking revenge on the athletes. And unfortunately, water polo in close matches is 90% dependent on referees. And I`m afraid that until Barelli leaves, it will be like this. This also shows that Malago isn`t able to do anything, because in most federations we have problems, even in those where we used to have an advantage, e.g. fencing. The Paris Olympics showed this.

    Euro 2004 was definitely above par, but the following years up to 2014, e.g. under Santos, showed that it wasn`t entirely a coincidence (not qualifying for the 2006 World Cup was, in turn, a result below par and this has evened out to some extent). In retrospect, I can write that Greece from the first decade of the 21st century wasn`t a much weaker team than current Italy, which also won Euro 2021 (I also consider this a result above par and some lucky).

    In my opinion, people believe in propaganda because they want to believe in it - it's more convenient for them. They could look for independent information, but they don't want to do that. In Russia, people want to believe that Russia is great, but the whole evil world is against it. If they wanted to think more critically, they would have to accept reality as it is. Not everyone wants that. That is why Putin is a credible meaning emanation of the majority of society – he tells people what they expect from him.

    12 years? Wow. I say that I lost touch with this sport :P When I followed it, the final was always Brazil vs. Spain and Italy won bronze

    Too bad. I would like a new champion but Brazil will probably win in the final against Argentina :P For Ukraine, it would be a historical title. All the more respect for them, because Ukraine probably doesn`t naturalize any Brazilians, like Italy did a dozen or so years ago - thanks to them we won many medals at the World and European Championships.

    I just hope you are safe now. There have been very few people from Russia on various international sports forums etc. recently. Maybe because there aren`t many Russians competing? btw., Did Russian TV broadcast the Paris Olympics and e.g. any current sports events e.g. Champions League, tennis?

    Until about 15 years ago, France probably didn't even have a national futsal team? Or if they did, they certainly didn't play in big events. On the other hand: Italy, Russia and Ukraine have always been strong in this sport, although Italy almost always lost to Spain in key matches.
