  1. The track in Inzell was also once open but the Germans decided to cover it and now they make money on the fact that, for example, the Italian team trains there in the summer. If the Italians had such a good approach to business, they would build a covered track in Collalbo themselves and, for example, other nations would train here, e.g. Poland, the Czech Republic, etc. The Olympics in 2026 should be an impulse for such action but unfortunately in Italy is miss wise and competent managers.
  2. I think that our speed skating staff is doing a great job under Marchetto's leadership. At least 1 covered ice track is missing, so that we don't have to train all summer and autumn in Inzell. Unfortunately, Turin 2006 was a great missed opportunity and that object is no longer used for sports purposes. In 2026, unfortunately, it may be similar, which is why I regret that a covered track wasn`t built in Collalbo - I find the arguments that it`s a small town funny, since we train in Inzell - similarly, a small village in Bavaria.
  3. Barelli is their enemy and they are taking revenge on the athletes. And unfortunately, water polo in close matches is 90% dependent on referees. And I`m afraid that until Barelli leaves, it will be like this. This also shows that Malago isn`t able to do anything, because in most federations we have problems, even in those where we used to have an advantage, e.g. fencing. The Paris Olympics showed this.
  4. You write these results quite funny. In tennis it`s quite unusual, e.g. 2x 3 places
  5. Euro 2004 was definitely above par, but the following years up to 2014, e.g. under Santos, showed that it wasn`t entirely a coincidence (not qualifying for the 2006 World Cup was, in turn, a result below par and this has evened out to some extent). In retrospect, I can write that Greece from the first decade of the 21st century wasn`t a much weaker team than current Italy, which also won Euro 2021 (I also consider this a result above par and some lucky).
  6. In the previous edition of the Nations League, they lost, for example, 0-4 at home to Hungary. It`s no coincidence that they are now playing in the 2nd division. However, they will certainly return to good form in the World Cup qualifiers and one of the seeded teams will have a problem if they draw England from the 3rd pot (I remind you that the seeding will be based only on this Nations League). Knowing our bad luck: Italy - drawn from the 1st pot will fall on England
  7. I'm counting on that too. The question is how many more years do we need?
  8. In my opinion, people believe in propaganda because they want to believe in it - it's more convenient for them. They could look for independent information, but they don't want to do that. In Russia, people want to believe that Russia is great, but the whole evil world is against it. If they wanted to think more critically, they would have to accept reality as it is. Not everyone wants that. That is why Putin is a credible meaning emanation of the majority of society – he tells people what they expect from him.
  9. Until recently I thought that propaganda on TV no longer plays such a role as it did in the times of the USSR due to start of the Internet but as you can see it still works
  10. It would be funny if "one team" advanced to the final :P I wonder how they would explain the miss of broadcast?
  11. 12 years? Wow. I say that I lost touch with this sport :P When I followed it, the final was always Brazil vs. Spain and Italy won bronze
  12. Too bad. I would like a new champion but Brazil will probably win in the final against Argentina :P For Ukraine, it would be a historical title. All the more respect for them, because Ukraine probably doesn`t naturalize any Brazilians, like Italy did a dozen or so years ago - thanks to them we won many medals at the World and European Championships.
  13. I just hope you are safe now. There have been very few people from Russia on various international sports forums etc. recently. Maybe because there aren`t many Russians competing? btw., Did Russian TV broadcast the Paris Olympics and e.g. any current sports events e.g. Champions League, tennis?
  14. Until about 15 years ago, France probably didn't even have a national futsal team? Or if they did, they certainly didn't play in big events. On the other hand: Italy, Russia and Ukraine have always been strong in this sport, although Italy almost always lost to Spain in key matches.
  15. In these days it's rare for a Russian to support for the Ukrainians, am I right?
  16. What can you expect from a simple woman from Magadan? As long as she was just running around and not talking, it was okay, but since she became an head of the federation in Rus and started talking this nonsense, it turned out that she was empty-headed. On top of that, she's fat as a pig. Disgusting person inside and out.
  17. On the one hand, if Brazil and Argentina were to lose, it would be a sensational tournament but on the other hand it's sad that even in futsal France is already better than us
  18. Russia out for another season in competitions under the aegis of FIS. https://www.fondoitalia.it/2024/09/27/notizie/argomenti/sci-di-fondo/articolo/sci-nordico-nessun-cambiamento-dalla-fis-atleti-russi-e-bielorussi-restano-esclusi-anche-nel-2024.html
  19. Bolshunov always seemed strange to me. He has a terrible character - many times after defeats he threw ski poles, broke them, etc. In the world of skiing this rarely happens.
  20. Slovakia has many interesting juniors in several sports. The problem probably begins in the later phase of the career. There is certainly potential for more medals there than in the last few editions of the Summer Games.
  21. In the case of Claudia Cretti in 2017 it ended with a disability - she started at the Paralympics in Paris.
  22. I thought Sramkova was much younger...
  23. You mean the rally when Rylov and Bolshunov were there, for example?
