  1. That could be interesting, but expensive for some nations to only participate in that event.
  2. The Super Sprint really is a quick and can be an very exciting event. I just realized why no US skiers were there. The US Rollerski Championships just finished. I do wonder of there is such a big discussion about the wheel techs as there is about the ski wax?

  9. Two clips from the Super Sprint - Check out the shorts!
  10. Jillian Colebourn wins the Oceania Cup Super Sprint. Not many details to be found. Some good pictures of the Short Individual, but no results yet. Love the names. The hat is really nice! It is also neat to see the very different trees at a Biathlon venue. Looks like it has 15 lanes.
  11. Seems like they are doing a good job of reusing the venues. There is an article here.
  12. Start Lists for Australian Biathlon Championships are out. Short Individual is here. Sprint is here. Still no results for the Oceania Cup. It is 98 degrees outside here, and I am really wishing for snow right about now!

  14. These are confirmed to be there - Timofey Lapshin Anna Frolina Andrejs Rastorgujevs Ekaterina Glazyrina Larisa Kuklina Krasimir Anev Valj and Vita Semerenko Sergey Semenov

Any new information about the South American Championships?
  19. Eurosport signed a deal with Blink to broadcast the biathlon portion next summer. See the commentary here.
  20. News and notes: Hope he does well so we will see NZ soon on the IBU Cup! Niklas Carlsson, former chief executive of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Åre 2019, to be its new permanent secretary general for IBU.
  21. Victorian Biathlon Championships Results Short individual results Sprint results
  22. The races are up on Youtube. For the 2nd race in a row, Fourcade was beaten on the last lap. Not sure if we should read anything into it.
  23. I honestly wonder if this thread is enough of involvement for the IBU? I doubt it. Also Olympian1010, the Junior/Youth Worlds will be in Soldier Hollow in 2022 IIRC. So less than 30 years from now
  24. I searched Biathlon Blink 2019 on Youtube and go the Men's and Women's Mass Starts as well as the Shooting Duels. Nothing from today's events yet. My 13 year old could join the Fan Club as well. That makes us about 5 people short.
