    The three year cycle was against us boxing wise with none of the tokyo team returning, hopefully a few of this team have their eye on L.A. But i wouldn't be that gutted if the sport wasn't in L.A, give MMA a chance instead! Great that we got a medal, and he COULD really make a name for himself if he was to be our only Boxing gold medallist

    I dont disgaree with any of that, but lets agree there is a HUGE benefit from having allready raced on the course literally moments before compared to someone whose just had to watch it, you win the quailication and get penalised for it

    Except the repechages work in your favour because you get to learn the course conditions. As you said earlier, don't qualifiy first then, but then that's counter productive to olympic ideals isn't it
