  1. But seriously, she could easily become a new Aliya Mustafina or a new Rebeca Andrade. I hope she can avoid injuries and make a healthy transition to the senior category.
  2. Elena Colas is a phenomenon ! I hope France doesn't lose her to Algeria as happened with Nemour .
  3. No, it's not! It is very important that Africa continues to send gymnasts to international competitions in order to develop the sport on the continent. Take for example, 30 years ago Latin America was a joke in artistic gymnastics. Latin american gymnasts had a mediocre participation in important competitions but currently, after years of competing and gaining international experience, the sport has developed on the continent. Brazil was a world team medalist, Mexico almost qualified a complete women's team for the Olympics. And many other latin american gymnasts were world medalists. Africa must follow the same example as Latin America. Furthermore, if we can't have athletes from all continents competing, it doesn't make sense for the Olympics to be a global event.
  4. I don't know if you guys know much about artistic gymnastics, but this series is out of this world. It was already amazing, but yesterday Nemour simply connected a pak into an inbar, unbelievable. France will regret losing a talent like this for many years.
  5. Nina is recovering from a serious shoulder injury. I believe she can reach the uneven bars event final but a medal will be very difficult considering names like Nemour, Sunisa Lee, Qiu Qiyuan, Wei Xiaoyuan, Biles and Andrade.
  6. For countries that don't have a team qualified they can get only 3 individuals quotas. Brazil already has 2 individual quotas so they can only earn one more quota, same with South Korea. France can get only 2 individuals quota.
  7. Brazil and Canada had better continental qualifying performances for this OQT and as a reward they earned more difficult groups than Puerto Rico
  8. I was impressed with Brazil's performance against Australia and I think they will beat both Serbia and Germany. But or in while or out is a crime, this qualification system is ridiculous.
  9. I'm worried about Spain, they can't underestimate Hungary.
  10. WOW! This is the strongest Brazilian team, since what? The last decade? And they still haven't had Stephanie Soares playing 100%.
  11. These groups are so unbalanced that one of these countries will be out of the Olympics while or will be in.
  12. My top 4: Tokyo 2020 by far London 2012 Rio 2016/Paris 2024 Rio was very simple and Paris was very complex. But London is not very far from Paris and Rio. Beijing 2008 is unique but too small.
  13. I don't know if i like it but it is an innovative design for sure.
  14. I still don't understand how South Korea lost to that New Zealand team and thanks to that we are out of this OQT
  15. I woud love to see South Korea back into top-10 again. But I think it will be a tough competition with Canada, Brazil and Spain.
  16. I love Australia, but their team is really too big. For example, in Rhythmic Gymnastics at the Paris Olympics we will have an Australian group, which has a very low technical level compared to groups that were possibly left out, such as Azerbaijan, Greece or Poland, with a very high technical level, wouldn't it make more sense to give Oceania individual quotas instead a full group? The same thing in artistic swimming, the groups from Canada and the United States are possibly out, but we will have a place for Oceania, couldn't this place be a duet and Australia try to win a place per group like all the other countries? In Boxing, Brazil achieved 9 Olympic places through the very difficult continental competition in the Americas, while Australia managed 12 Olympic places in a continental championship with a low technical level. My opinion, no hate on Australia, but I think the Australian team is inflated and gets quotas very easily compared to countries on other continents. But of course this is not the fault of the Australians, their geographical location. But couldn't Olympic quotas be a little more meritocratic?
  17. I think this time Canada will be end up behind Brazil and Spain in terms of the number of athletes
