  1. From my point of view, if they participate in another event to try to improve their time in the strongest squad, mixed and women's will both probably qualify. Mixed has string time hard to beat. And women's can probably run something around 3:26, maybe 3:25. My guess would be as strongest mixed relay: Krsek, Müller, Manuel, Vondrová. Women's relay: Vondrová, Petržílkova, Manuel, Malíková.
  2. Yeah, I guess they will have a discussion with some other athletic federations of European countries and put this event into one of the meetings in June. Otherwise, I feel that it would be really pity and waste of 4 years of hard work.
  3. Absolute disaster by :CZE relays this morning. In Men's 4x400m did not participate Maslak, Krsek (both health issues), Muller, time horrible. In womens 4x400m no Vondrová (ill), no Manuel (tired after yesterday's final). Lost baton and DQ. Both relays were supposed to improve their time to qualify to Paris. Now, I don't know whether there will be another chance.... Maybe national championship??? As with strong squad for women's relay, I believe they could run nicely around 3:25..... Such a pity. Hope at least the women's relay finds another opportunity to run and improve the time.
  4. Thanks of your kind words of Jakub he is really huge talent. He had a break due to a small injury but he is back. He mentioned for media he would be happy to go to the Games but if he doesn't go, it doesn't matter as he is still very young and will surely be aiming for LA28. But according to the current ranking it shows he may make the cut 😊🤞
  5. Thanks for heads up 💪💪 Hope Czech will get the extra quota 😁😁
  6. So according to the British Team, they have decided that both who got the K1 and C1 in womens events will also participate in kayak cross? That's why they may probably refuse the quota?
  7. You may enter 2 athletes into kayak cross. So for example, if you have a quota in MK1 and MC1, both can participate on kayak cross. If you get the extra quota, it may mean you have second specialist in kayak. But then either the athlete who got MK1 or MC1 won't participate in kayak cross. Unfortunately you cannot enter 3 athletes.
  8. Are you certain about it? Why GB would refuse the quota?
  9. I can't explain how devastating the results are for 😞😞😞. This was the last chance for Vít Prindis to go to the Olympics at least once in a life. In the women's final, the disqualification for Czech was really on the edge. Can't say whether the disqualification is 100% correct or not but really devastating for the Czech team for no earning any quota 😭😭😭
  10. Wow, this article sounds pretty negative. Yeah, Jozef Kovalik is currently 119th so it is highly impossible. But Smiedlova with 80th place, I think she still has descent chances.....
  11. Well, according to https://live-tennis.eu/en/olympics-race-women-singles she is 80th in the Olympic ranking, I think there is still a chance she will make it. Wiki shows she is on the list, I know we can't always trust the wiki updates but I believe that she will make the cut.
  12. May I know where are the full results of NCAA? I could not find it on WA website. 🤣🤣 Thanks
  13. Well, first day - amazing results by 18 y.o. juniors Jakub Dudycha and Petr Meindlschmid. At least Stánek made it to the final of shot put. Rest Czechs kinda behind expectations and there will still be a lot to do in order to keep the qualifying spot to Paris or even move up to one. Such as discuss thrower Marek Bárta who I believe would still need to take part in 2 competitions and make a great results in order to move up. Pity for race walker Martínková who was fighting for a medal and Olympic limit all the time until she got the 2min penalty. Let's hope other days will bring better results for our team 😀
  14. Congrats to the amazing run 👏 👏 👏 .... Now I am hoping will stay on the qualifying position with 3:11,98 😬😬
  15. Petr Meindlschmid (18y.o.) who qualified to ECH because Tobias Montler withdrew, first jump in the quali 8.01m, wind -2,8m/s ... Czech national record U20
  16. For those who want to count points regarding Olympic ranking, on this list are written extra points for placement. Column GL is for European championships https://worldathletics.org/world-ranking-rules/overall-rankings-2024
  17. Marek Bárta - discuss throw, without final😞. 4 metres behind his PB which he did this year which complicates his Olympic ranking as he is fighting for his Olympic debut .....
  18. Yeah, I have been counting that, but it's quite unlikely unless we see many withdrawals. For example, when I counted , if Menšík really qualifies, how to make a second pair if the first would be Lehecka/Machač? Maybe it could be Adam Pavlásek who is currently 36th in doubles ranking. If Pavlásek was in top 20, I would say it is doable. But for 36th place, it is kinda highest he has even been but still there are many players ahead of him who also may pair up with other singles players. Anyways, speaking of withdrawals, I guess we will read about most of them in June as ITF will probably require all the tennis players, especially from singles, to confirm their participation as soon as possible. I am bit sad about Novak who had to undergo meniscus surgery and having that less than 2 months before the Games, I am starting to feel that he may not be able to make it. Such a pity because thats the only title he has been missing. Still hope he can make it🙏🙏
  19. Where can you see the ranking after today's qualification?
  20. That's amazing and kinda surprising!!! As we are going to have 3 spots from World ranking - Rapid Fire Men, Skeet Women and 50m Rifle women which makes it 10 spots in shooting. Kinda unexpected 👏👏👏👏
  21. I don't expect as many withdrawals as Tokyo Games. Hard to reach singles entry who is below 100 in ranking. Also in doubles, players will surely consider the fact whether they choose the option of high ranked doubles player and high ranked singles player will together if they never played doubles together .......
  22. Oh, maybe I am wrong. I don't know the details of the pointing system into the world ranking ..... Let's see how it goes tomorrow.....
  23. So I guess the quota goes to a last spot will be between and depending on the place in the qualification.......
