I checked his ranking, he is currently 31st in Road to Paris and his last throw was only less than a meter from the strict limit to Paris. Do you guys think he may get an approval for ECH? If so, if he throws 78,20m or qualifies to Paris through the Olympic ranking, could he represent ??? I know the timing is quite tight and I remember that before there were some rules that you have to represent your new country for a year or two? Not quite sure..... before you can qualify for the Olympics representing your new country. Does anybody how is it right now before Paris? I also noticed some athletes, weightlifters switched to citizenship and qualified to Paris but I don't know how long ago they changed the nationality. Thanks.

That's a big dissapointment for team ..... They decided to give up mixed relay as they thing they will qualify the mixed relay based on time as 3:11,98 min is currently the best in the world ranking and they put the strongest team to the men's and women's relays. But in the second round, both men's and women's 4x400m finished 3rd in their heat, additionally, men's relay finished 3rd by 0,09s, 7th time in the second round :-( .... Women's team 4th best time in the second round, going up in the ranking but still below the line. I think they will have to absorb this thing for quite some time and in order to be able to qualify, I think they must look for more opportunities where to run relays. This will be really hard.
